Ceo's Gelato Bistro

I have been going to Ceo’s since her original location in Portsmouth. We are so lucky to have access to high quality gelato like this on the seacoast. This gelato is on par with the good stuff in Italy. A constant rotation of delicious, fresh flavors as well as incredibly friendly service. If you haven’t already, give Ceo’s a try, you won’t be disappointed!

2023:Ceo's moved from Portsmouth to Durham. The same incredible gelatos and sorbets in a new location. I ha chocolate, blueberry and violet -- the best chocolate ice cream I ever tried.

2022:Excellent! We got chocolate gelato and pinocolada sorbet - both tasted fantastic. Their small size is just right. Two small cups was about over ten dollars. We will be back!

I absolutely love this place. That creamy texture of gelato and selection of flavors, hmm. Also convinient location, right in the downtown Portsmouth. They usually offer a couple of dairy free options and tasty sorbet.

Love Ceo’s! Wonderful Gelato right in the heart of Portsmouth. I’ve been searching for a local gelato spot since we moved to the area earlier this year. They are always incredibly kind when we’ve stopped by for curbside pickup, and very accommodating to intolerances/allergies. As close as you can get to Italian gelato stateside!

This bistro has a very unique flavors. I enjoyed my time here. I really loved their gelato. Delicious!!!!

Best gelato on the seacoast... hands down. Amazing flavors that change constantly.

How about Strawberry Balsamic gelato? To die for.

And the Mojito Mint gelato? Must be over 21 and yeah, it tastes amazing.

What about the Chocolate Ginger Clove? It sold out when I arrived and bought 4 pints of it.

The gelatos are sooo delicious! Honestly, after trying from them I probably won’t go back to regular ice-cream. Their flavors are fresh, creamy, and the portion sizes are pretty good!! 10/10 experience!

Cucumber watermelon to refresh your day and take a break from walking! Awesome flavors, loved this gelato. Service is good and the place is awesome, seat by the window!

Delectable vegan gelato options!!! I LOVE the chocolate sorbettos, like dark chocolate cherry and dark chocolate orange. The berry iced teas are also great. I wish they didn't close their shop for months. The interior is very nice and clean. I've been going here for years and it never disappoints.

They have such a delicious Gelatos and truly exceptional service.

This place is a gem! Delicious flavors(classic and creative) , friendly smiling staff, and just the perfect cozy atmosphere to relax in! My favorite flavor is Avocado and chocolate Hazelnut. You can watch them fresh flavors made right there! Such a great addition to this quaint town :)

I had a delicious gelato here. First of all there are many kinds of gelato and all look great. I couldn't decide what I would have and the clerk gladly offered free tastes that helped me to choose flavors.
My favorite is Orange Pineapple Ginger. You should try this if you can't decode your choice!

Ceo's Gelato is the highlight of any trip to Portsmouth. After dinner I always love to take my date, friends, or family with me to get some amazing Gelato. Whenever I bring friends there, they always rave and thank me after, never one complaint. There is simple stuff to start off with, but then they make amazing flavors that are out of the world - licorice, chocolate, raspberry, cookie dough, squash, strawberry, everything your heart could dream of. With tons of variety at a reasonable price Ceo's Gelato is one of the greatest places to be in Portsmouth.

I absolutely love this place. The quality of the gelato is excellent, good mix of flavors and the owner is fantastic.

Best gelato I’ve ever had! We got the pistachio and cherry and it was incredible!!! The staff was amazing and they really take care of the place in terms of corona.. they have hand sanitizer and hands free pay station. I HIGHLY recommend this place... and I don’t usually like sweets!

Stopped in today and got gelato... and will for sure be back! Wonderful selection! Absolutely delicious! Open year round, yay!! Espresso over gelato?! Sign me up! 😁

Excellent choice for sm great gelatos! Along with it being gluten free/vegan 👍 they have a nice assortment of flavors, I went with dark chocolate cherry & they also have a white nutella one which is excellent, give it a try.
