The music hall is easy to access in downtown, staff is always friendly. Even long beverage or bathroom lines move quickly. Variety of beverages not just IPAs.
We've seen several concerts and plays here. If we lived in Eastern NH we'd probably be members.

Great venue for shows. I have a membership, because I want to support this great theater and also because I like getting their monthly brochure to see what shows are coming up. We saw Daryl Hall this spring, and I just bought tickets to 3 more upcoming shows yesterday!

Beautiful venue to catch a show. The acoustics are spectacular; you can hear the performer clearly, no matter where you are seated. The older architecture is stunning and the bathrooms are the cleanest and most elaborate design I have ever seen.

Make sure to show up at least half an hour before any performance. Checking tickets was tedious and caused a backup in the bar area.

Venue like no other! Saw Drew Lynch. The exit process is a bit much. Great bar even more amazing bathroom. Seats are small.

This place was so intimate and beautiful. Like sitting in an old time jazz club. Small but perfect for seeing your favorite musicians. They also offered apps and a full bar. We had already eaten so had a glass of Prosecco and split the cheesecake, which was absolutely delicious!

I’ve seen some of the most incredible performances ever at this venue. Yo-Yo-Ma & Great Bay Philharmonic Orchestra, Watchhouse, The Sound of Music, and many more over the years! Love, love, love this intimate space! The staff are all so kind and hard working as well. 10/10 The Historic Music Hall is a gem of the seacoast!!!

Phenomenal Customer Service. I had purchased some tickets yesterday afternoon then realized the intended recipient could not make the show due to a scheduling conflict. I called today when the ticket office opened at Noon and spoke w/ Kat who was super friendly and accommodating and was able to swap the tickets to a different date painlessly and a quick, smooth and AWESOME transaction. I will definitely be keeping The Music Hall in mind for future entertainment needs!

Beautiful old music theater! They get great artists in and host engaging events (e.g., TEDtalks). Snack and drink options for sale are a good variety. Bathrooms are noted as award-winning. I thought this was funny till I visited. They truly are unique and very nice.

A charming performance and arts center located in the heart of Portsmouth. Lot's of character and on the smaller side, so it's a great place so catch a show. Two bars and concessions available as well.

Loved how modern and unique the lobby is! I felt transported back in time while walking to our seats in the theater. Having a beer while watching the performance really topped off the experience! They even come with lids.

Cool historical theatre. Was in town with an artist performing at the theatre. Loved the room and the crew. Everything top notch. Intimate, sounds great, not a bad seat in the house. Go see shows here and experience it for yourself!
