Came here once before to meet friends and only had a drink. Came for dinner this time after reviewing the menu and seeing more vegan options. I got the Mini pumpkin, pumpkin soup and the butternut squash fries. Bypassed the mayo based dip and the waiter brought out a jelly pepper and it was very good. The mini stuffed pumpkin was stellar. One of my favorite things I've had in a long time. Pumpkin soup was also right up there. Everything was very good. Dalton the server went above and beyond to make for a great Thursday afternoon dinner. The inside of the restaurant was very nice and calming. Will return if the vegan options remain. Very happy.

We went for dollar oyster night, unfortunately they sold out but there were so many other delicious food options. I got the scallops (perfectly cooked) my husband got steak tips & we shared 😋 made a bit of a surf & Turf!
The photo doesn't do the plate justice- I shared a scallop before taking it.
We shared muscles for an app (they are so good!) And split plate the Cobb salad, which I'm grateful they do because the salads are huge!

I would love to give 10 +stars omg. We wanted to sit at the bar but no room the hostess said we have a bar downstairs outside....ok....came into this gem of a location bar with outside tables and lawn games. Then the drinks great diverse menu they even had red stripe. Food was stellar and delicious 😋 . Our bartender Dalton was excellent.

The Railpenny is hands-down the best restaurant in the Epping area. It has everything you could want; a cozy atmosphere, stunning cocktails, and a comforting menu. The restaurant is small but tastefully decorated and felt like you were dining at home.

Our first visit was great. Our server Nicole H. was very friendly and accommodating when the menu item we ordered was out of stock. Their shoestring french fries are some of the best I have ever had.

The bill was pricey but well worth the money. The outside addition of the Beer Garden sounds enticing. We cannot wait to return for a few drinks and live music.

A marvelous little place in Epping NH with excellent drinks, wonderful apps and entrees (granted oysters aren't tricky to prepare but the presentation was really well done). There for a birthday dinner with family, and it was just a lovely time, highly recommended

We went here when tuckaway gave us a two hour wait. We called first to see if there would be a wait for our party size but hadn’t decided if we were going yet. When we got there the host that took our call had put a table aside for us anyway which was so kind! Our server was excellent and we loved the food/drinks. This was our first experience here and will absolutely come back

Went here on a date. Cozy atmosphere. Had the pork chop with sweet potatoes and broccolini, and I nearly cleaned the plate. Presentation and portion size were great. Really want to learn how to make sweet potato mash like that. Absolutely delicious!

Little loud, that's my only minor complaint. Food was awesome, I got steak tips , potatoes and asparagus ... My tips were rare like I wanted, they came out perfectly seasoned and cooked. Everything was great. My dad got their chicken sandwich , and he's old and fussy... He took the other half home so that is a huge deal.

AMAZING!
I absolutely adore this place. Quaint, comfortable, and affordable. Their drink menu is stellar - one must try the Center of the Universe (I think that’s the name!) I get their Tavern Fries every time I go. Their burgers are immaculate. The scallops are a little small for the price, but that is my only complaint. This place is wonderful for families, couples, or anyone!

I had one of the best meals. It was my first time going and it was recommended to me. Great hospitality is the worst way to describe how amazing the staff was. My waitress was attentive and sweet and funny. She just made me feel comfortable and excited about my choices. She was fantastic. I can't wait to go again!

We didn't expect the food to be as truly wonderful as it was..... we saw "tavern" and thought pub food, wow, were we wrong! The menu was well rounded, the atmosphere lively, and the service was the best we've had since before the pandemic! Rachel had great insight & epic timing. She managed all 5 courses beautifully.... we had never been, so we tried a little of everything. The Cobb salad had a house made deviled egg on it, the chili had venison, the entrees were PERFECTLY cooked & the deserts- house made and delicious. Kudos to the kitchen staff for thier brilliance & expeditors who made sure that as soon as the dish was plated, it was soon to be in front of us! We will definitely be back.

Great food and service! Was busy on a Monday night. I had the pan chicken with grilled asparagus. I had lemon cheesecake with blueberries for dessert. I had unsweetened tea served to me in a glass bottle so I could pour more if I wanted it. Place was noisy from the customers. Bathroom was tidy. Food pricey but worth it. Parking limited. Outdoor seating available.

Our server Dalton was great, he's got my vote for manager position at the Railpenny. His knowledge of the menu along with his personality will take him beyond his expectations anywhere he ventures, you would be foolish to lose him. I own a restaurant in Boston and would hire him immediately.
Overall our experience at your establishment was the best. We will be back!

Don't let the small building fool you, it's much bigger inside. Some of the best food I've ever had. Can't wait to go back. Cobb salad was smokey and awesome! Spinach dip was delicious too. Would give more stars if I could!
