Joe's Peking Duck House

An excellent hidden gem Chinese restaurant in a strip mall. We got the shrimp & pork filled Plain Wonton soup, the Roast Pork and Duck Wonton noodle soup, and the Peking Duck roll. Everything was excellent! I've been coming here since 1995 and have been happy with everything I've ordered.

We ordered the Duck for Two. The Wontons were clearly freshly made, they were deliciously thin and filled with shrimp and pork! The duck was cooked perfectly including the crispy skin. Both my husband and I loved all of it! It was enough food for three or four.

We’ve been coming to Joe’s for 20 years. Everything is excellent. The clams with minced pork and the salt baked calamari is out of this world. The noodle soups are famous for good reason. The duck is the best I’ve ever had. Jack and his team make you feel like family and the service is unmatched.

Our family’s favorite go-to place for amazing Chinese food. The service is warm, accommodating, quick, and attentive. The food- every dish we’ve tried so far has been amazing. Hands down the best fried dumplings in NJ. Their seafood fried noodles, flounder hot pot, salt baby pork chops, fried chicken are the best.

I've moved out of the area and came back to NJ recently for a visit. A friend suggested to check it out and this place is great. A lot of chinese dishes I've really missed as a kid are here.

My sister came across this place while she was picking up some duck donut next door. She told me how good the Peking duck was and I must try. I drove all the way from Philly to try this place out. I could not believe I’m just discovering this place after all these years. This place is a amazing. The food is authentic and taste better than most of the restaurants in Philly Chinatown. I’m a foodie and I would travel for food. I would not mind paying $5 toll just to come here for the food. The Peking duck is a must try and you would not be disappointed. The wonton soup was so tasty. We did the set dinner for 4. We also got the soup dumplings which I wasn’t too crazy about. The flavor was good but the skin of the soup dumplings were a bit too thick. The staff were all very attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back soon to try other dishes.

Amazing Peking duck spread. The duck for 2 comes with so much food. The duck was tender. The fried rice was made to order and had ample flavor. The wonton soup was perfect for the cold weather. The highlight of my meal was the service. The staff was attentive and the food came out at the perfect time.

For the type of place this is, Joe's peking duck house is terrific! I went for lunch and the specials are very tasty and very reasonably priced. The wait staff is attentive and timely, and the atmosphere of the place is what you'd expect for a small Asian cuisine restaurant that is quite busy. Realistically speaking, it's not a rainforest cafe scale thing, and to be honest, I prefer more straight forward and to the point restaurants than that, and the owner even paid our table a visit and was very friendly and interested in creating a positive experience.

I have been here twice and they never disappoint. The sauteed oyster is excellent. Pea tip leaves, bokchoy, tofu are authentic and I love them all. Even the steam pork buns are okay, granted I am really picky about them and have high standard. Not only the quality, but the quantity of each dish is unparallelled to many Chinese restaurants I have been. I would go again.

If you like peking duck, this is the place for you! If you like fried rice, this is the place for you. If you like anything Asian this is the place for you. In addition to being delicious, the menu has a lot of options and they have daily specials that do not disappoint. Pork fried dumplings are the best!!!

Joe's is my go to Chinese spot in the area. It is delicious and priced very affordably. I am very picky about where I eat, yet I have found myself returning here at least once every few weeks for the ten years.

It isn't just normal Chinese food - it's elevated and delicious. The roast pork, duck, and wonton noodle soup is fantastic on a cold dark day. I can confidently recommend Joe's to everyone I know.

I also highly recommend coming during Saturday and Sunday Dim Sum. The Turnip Cake with XO sauce is amazing.

Superb experience. Food was fantastic; service was very attentive and caring; and it is a really nice place. The people at my neighbouring table were a bit loud, but that isn't the restaurant's fault.

We were up in Marlton area yesterday and decided to get Joe’s Peking Duck House’s amazingly delicious wonton soup to take home with us. We have been dining-in and taking out food from here for over 30 years. We no longer live in Marlton, however when ever we are in the area, we always order takeout. When dining-in we always get the duck with the plum sauce, steam bread and bok choy.

Been going to this spot since 2010. When I used to live in New Jersey we would come here almost every week. Sometimes even twice a week!

Everything in the menu is amazingly good! We ALWAYS order their special wonton noodle soup with pork, duck and vegetables. IT IS MY ULTIMATE FAVORITE. No place can mimic their wonton and their broth.. it is like no other. Surprisingly living in cali, Hawaii, Maryland, and Va.. they beat them all.

It is a hidden gem to many. No one will know how authentic this place is because it is located in Marlton, NJ which is far from Chinatown in Philadelphia. But they are smart to be located in the nice and richer part of New Jersey. They really make their customers feel like family, and they really get to know their regulars.
I even feel like the places in Chinatown cannot beat the service, and food Joe's brings.

We always bring our guests to this spot and it has ALWAYS been a memorable place for many of our visitors.

I highly recommend the wonton noodle soup, special combination pan fried noodles, salted fried seafood, shrimp and walnut, scallion steamed flounder, and the Peking duck.

For groups of 2 or more they have a select list of foods for everyone that features the best of Joe's Peking. It's a must for big groups to get a taste of everything.

Sunday is the best time to go for those who love dim sum, served ale carte.

Now that we are in Virginia we make it a point to come visit this place at least every year. We love Joe's for life!

The soft shell crabs 🦀 were outstanding. Buddha's delight, seafood with crispy noodles, and, of course, duck rolls. What a delicious meal 😋.

We loved it here. Its been years for me, but it was even better than I remembered it! The duck is a slightly better bang for your buck, of course if you like what it also comes with. From other reviews, not sure why many people had bad experiences... i suppose they cant be perfect every time. Only weird thing was the fried rice and sizzling steak "app" (that comes with the duck combo) came out last..like a while later. Didn't bother us. Id say overall, they get an A, and we'll be back soon.

Fantastic food, everything is made fresh and tastes like it is too. The service here is phenomenal too.
