Wow! What a find! We were shopping and saw the sign- so we knew we HAD to stop in. The store is really cool with interesting and unique items. But then you go downstairs to the most quaint and surprising bakery! Nanci, the owner, came over and chatted with us. She was so kind and upbeat! I wanted to try everything, but was able to rein it in. Her desserts were not only beautiful, but SO tasty! We tried the Salted Caramel cake and the Funny Bone-both amazing! Her cakes are so light, moist, and flavorful. The Swiss meringue is so smooth. And don’t get me started on those funny bones! They tasted EXACTLY like the OG! A light layer of chocolate coats a moist, chocolatey cake, filled with light, fluffy, oh-so peanut buttery filling. We will be back! This is a must try!! You will not be disappointed! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Underground Bakery & Cafe is a very cozy and comfortable place. They had so many delicious options I got the House sandwich with steak and it was amazing and very savory, the pretzels with the sandwiches are so good too. The staff were so polite and friendly. Good portion size for the price. The pastries all look fresh and delicious. Will definitely be coming back to try all their amazing pastries.

Such a nice quaint place, quick service and beautiful hospitality, makes you feel like your a local!! Cute store! Lovely bakery and the employees are very nice! Food is spot on! Highly recommend this place! Cozy vibes! Even got a ice tea in a mason jar to go!

Their place is a hidden gem just waiting for you to enjoy it! The owner Nanci is so very special and inviting. Everything is homemade, delicious, and have us looking down tears to the next time we come. We were so impressed that we messaged friends while we were enjoying a few pastries and coffee to tell them about it. While we were there other customers came in and Nancy knew them all….so great to find an amazing place like this. Didn't mention the store inside has the most unique gifts?!?!? You won’t be disappointed, it’s a must if you are in/near North Conway!

What a great hidden gem. Stumbled on this place my first morning here for a weekend. We just had some pasties but they were so good. It’s was nice knowing they were all made in house. The server was so friendly. The one con though I was surprised by, was that the lattes were so so expensive and the eu were anything super fancy or special. They said they were new to making them. It tasted fine but was to over priced for what it was. $8. Not even the fancied coffee places are priced that high. Won’t affect the 5 star rating though, that is much deserved.

The place was excellent for breakfast. There is a bit of a wait for food, but that is because it's all made fresh and worth it. All the baked goods are excellent as well. Support this place!

Please go with time since this is not a fast food so you may wait a bit for food but everything tasted fresh and delicious

Great little spot. Very friendly staff. And the Egg Jalapeno Sriracha Cheese Bacon Bagel sandwich was honestly the best breakfast sandwich I have ever eaten. Highly recommend!

My husband and I found this place while on vacation in Conway. We absolutely loved the food! We had spinach and feta omelet with home fries and there homemade white bread and French toast. Everything was awesome. But my favorite was the home fries and the homemade bread. Best home fries I had in my life and that bread was soo far from the basic white bread. Highly recommend.😋

Cutest little bakery that serves breakfast as well. North Conway breakfast places all had lines out the door. I found this on Google as a breakfast option, so we gave it a shot and I'm so glad we did. The breakfast was delicious. It wasn't over crowded. The hot chocolate was to die for. So good. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back.

I ordered a custom ‘peanut butter cup’ cake for a birthday party, my first order from here. It was BEAUTIFUL, absolutely what I was hoping for. The cost was GREAT and the service was spot-on. When I picked up the cake I was enchanted with the shop (it’s adorable and welcoming) and I will be certainly going back to sit for coffee. I unequivocally recommend this place.

Was planning on going to a different restaurant for lunch but the promise of breakfast, lunch, and a bakery on the sign caught our eye. So glad we did! A ton of baked goods with options from chocolate raspberry cake and cannolis to coffee cake and ritz cracker bark. They have well rounded breakfast and lunch menus. We got the French onion soup, croissant egg sandwich, and a grilled muffin. Left full and happy. Everyone working is very sweet and attentive. Definitely worth coming for a meal and checking in often for the bake good selection!

This place is freaking great french toast the size of your face and the best omelettes in North Conway. They also have great pancakes I always forget to order the blueberry ones they're the best, and the croissant sandwich is heavenly I really enjoy it it's late it's fluffy The eggs are great and bacon is perfect and that American cheese just makes it even better me personally I think each time I go from now on I'm going to order two of them This place is also incredibly affordable and the baked goods are everywhere on display and anything you get you will not be disappointed by hands-down best breakfast / brunch in North Conway

This place is down right amazing!.. I don't know what else to say. Everything was fresh and homemade..🤤🤤 The staff is pleasent, and fun to chat with!! The owner was awesome, and fun! We will 100% be back.. as much as we can. Thank you for a great birthday breakfast!! Also the pasties and stuff are unbelievable.

Got two takeout sandwiches, a decadent coffee cake, and a small cheesecake. Everything tasted terrific. Absolutely delicious and exceptional. Really wonderful addition to the area.

The sandwiches were excellent and notably packaged in such a way that nothing in the hot sandwiches (like melty cheese) was going to make the pretzels icky or taste like pickles. See pictures!

Cannot say enough good things about this place. Only one woman working register, serving, and cooking, and she told me she had 5 orders ahead of mine so there might be a bit of a wait. I was there the same amount of time I would have spent at a big restaurant with full staff! The omelet was cooked to perfection, the homemade toast was so buttery and amazing, and I got a cinnamon roll for the road. She was the nicest woman and I can’t wait to go again and try all their other baked goods!
