We are so happy we found this place. The atmosphere is cozy & the staff was great. The food was incredible! We got the bruschetta, corn chowder, lobster mac, gnocchi, and the cornbread. It was all fantastic, but the cornbread and corn chowder was standout. We can’t wait to return!

Top 3 in all of portsmouth. I don't think anything about our experience here could have been better. They are extremely friendly and the food is absolute perfection and the price point is beyond reasonable. The mushroom appetizer is one of the most delicious things that has ever been placed on an appetizer menu quite literally ever

Cure restaurant in Portsmouth, NH, has quickly become our new favorite dining spot in New Hampshire. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the inviting ambiance and attentive service. The experience only got better as we tasted some of the most outstanding food we've had in the state.

I opted for the Korean Short Ribs, and I can confidently say it was one of the best dinners I've had in a long time. The rib was tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked—a true delight. My wife had the Crispy Chicken, and she was equally impressed. The chicken was moist with a crispy exterior, cooked to perfection.

To complement our meal, we enjoyed expertly crafted drinks. The Remedy and New Old Fashion were both exceptional and paired perfectly with our dishes.

Cure restaurant has earned its place as our favorite dining spot in New Hampshire. It's a place we look forward to returning to for many more memorable meals.

Amazing place. The service and food and atmosphere will all impress any dining situation here. A fine casual feel with friendly patrons and great drinks. Make reservations. I was lucky to walk in and have a meal with 2 others on a Tuesday.

Amazing experience all around. I had the short ribs, which were heavenly -- super tender and flavorful, without excessive fat. The accompanying roasted vegetables and mashed potatoes were also delicious -- veggies are often an afterthought with these dishes, but these were nice and savory. My wife opted for the 3-course prix fixe menu offered for Restaurant Week. She chose the poached pear salad, Hasselback butternut squash, and sweet potato pudding for dessert -- all were excellent.

Service was impeccable. Hostess was friendly, and our waitress was warm, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The building itself and decor are charming and elegant, with brick walls and large windows, and there's a sizable outdoor patio as well (which is not available during the winter, of course). Very romantic in the evening! There's also a cozy bar up front.

Overall, a great place to splurge (and to be honest, the prices are very reasonable when considering the very high quality of everything).

My fiancé and I started off with the truffle artichoke and spinach dip, which was heavenly! We then had the pork chop and New York strip. Very delicious! My drink was the new fashioned and hers was a grapefruit mule. Both excellent. Server was very kind and attentive. Will be back!

Went for a quick dinner and sat at the bar with Hannah tending bar and as our server. She was friendly and attentive to everyone at the bar while still making drinks for the whole restaurant. I had the lobster bisque which was amazing - large chunks of meat artfully placed on top and well seasoned. My partner had the French Onion soup which she let me try and it was also amazing. We went straight to dessert from there and split the lemon basil creme brulee and New York cheesecake with blueberry compote which were also delicious. I would definitely go back again.

We went for dinner right when they opened on a Saturday afternoon. We sat at the bar. Everything was delicious. I was drinking pear martinis all night. My butternut squash soup was absolutely delicious, as was my crispy skin chicken. Atmosphere was great, service was great, and food was great. I will 100% be back.

Intimate, delicious local restaurant run by all-star Chef Julie who truly loves cuisine. We started with the must-have lobster bisque and French onion soup, which were both delicious. My entree was the lamb shank, accompanied by several of Cure's inventive and delicious cocktails. I recommend patio seating if possible for a comfy outdoor dinner!
This smallish restaurant does fill up quickly, so definitely plan ahead or get reservations, especially on a weekend.

Soo good! We went here for the first time last night and everything was incredible. Our waitress was so friendly, the garden seating was cute and well distanced, and the food! Oh my goodness the food. The lobster Mac n cheese was the best I’ve ever had and my partner loved their short ribs. Goat cheese croquette appetizer, cocktails, and pumpkin cheesecake were also all on point. Will definitely be going back if we need dinner in Portsmouth!

Was a little hesitant about this restaurant because of all the advertising about being on Chopped. Usually find that if you push that you were on food network food isn’t that good but this was not the case here. Absolutely delicious food, amazing service and nice atmosphere. Mussels were clean and tender and broth was full of flavor. Confit duck was sweet, tender yet crispy, perfect combination. Korean barbecue short ribs were melt in your mouth tender and cornbread side is a must have!!! Highly recommend. Pork chop was another delicious choice. Lots of flavor and juicy. Cannot finish review without commenting on service. Our server, think it was Kate, was one of the best I have ever had. Read her guests perfectly.

I went here during restaurant week in Portsmouth and got and app, entree and dessert. The pork belly was incredible and cooked perfectly. For my entree I got the flat iron steak and it was nicely cooked and the sauce was a nice touch. The dessert strawberry cream pie was delicious. The prices are a little higher compared to other places in Portsmouth, but its definitely worth it. The environment and atmosphere is warm and welcoming while still having a formal feel.

My partner and I stumbled upon this restaurant by pure chance and we are SO happy we did. Honestly one of the best meals I've ever had in my entire life. Everything from the ambiance to the service and presentation of the food has been impeccable.

You honestly can't make a wrong choice here. The heirloom tomato bruschetta was delclicious and fresh. My partner had the New York strip and I ordered the braised short ribs. We honestly could have licked our plates. Our hats are off to Chef Julie Cutting and Chef Devay.

Also an honorable mention to front of house staff (Kait) who graciously found us a table per chance when a reservation no showed. Truly everything happens for a reason!

Ps. Their carefully curated unique cocktails and martinis are nothing to shy away from. Good selection of beers and wines as well.

I am feeling some type of way about this food. Steak: bombastic. Salmon: scrumptious. Cornbread: exquisite. Everything was so good. I was particularly impressed with the steak and cornbread. You can tell from the photo that they nailed the medium-rare, only way a steak should be. Can’t wait to come back. Cheesecake was a fantastic ending

I definitely recommend booking a time on their website in advance if you plan to eat inside. It seemed extremely busy and booked. And for good reason. The food was delicious. And the service was just as excellent. Fine dining, but didn't cost as much as I expected for the meal I received. I'm definitely ordering To Go if I'm ever back in the area. My plate looked like a work of art. I got the duck. So good. Very tender. The mushroom risotto added such a nice blend of flavor to the dish. Very creamy. The balsamic added a punch of flavor. My friend enjoyed his tomato bisque soup. The bread was a nice touch.

Intimate, delicious local restaurant run by all-star Chef Julie who truly loves cuisine. We started with the must-have cornbread and some goat cheese croquettes, which were both delicious. My entree was a super flavorful Mexican inspired chicken with grilled street corn, accompanied by several of Cure's inventive and delicious cocktails.
