Dec Tech Flooring

We had rugs installed in our condo in April. They did a great job. Amy was very helpful at the store with my choices and the installer went above and beyond getting the rug installed in time. It has been a couple months and I love my carpet choice. We will be using them when we have hard wood installed.

DecTec is the best in the business. Amy was helpful, informative and friendly in helping me make my decision. Patrick and Jason did a beautiful job with the installation end of it, they too were friendly and helpful. They helped with moving furniture and even moved a bureau to the garage for me.

Wonderful resource for flooring/tile work. The owner is extremely helpful during the selection process and involved throughout the installation process. Every carpet/tile technician who worked on our house (tile floors, tub surround/ tile shower, kitchen backsplash, carpeting, etc. ) was professional, knowledgeable and efficient. They did a great job throughout our home, and I'd trust them to take care of any of our future flooring/tile needs.

Very helpful and reasonably priced

A very disappointing experience all around. I had the entire second floor recarpeted. When we put down our deposit, we were quoted around a month turn around based on current projects. It ended up being a two month wait after I finally pressured them and reminded them about their previous timeline.

The communications I had with Amy, the president, were very unprofessional. My name was misspelled on the invoice. Emails were riddled with spelling and grammar errors. It made it extremely difficult to communicate, especially given my frustration as weeks passed by and there was little update on when the installation could begin. Only once I called her out on these poor communications was I able to finally get them to schedule the job.

The installation was okay, but there are a few areas of the installation that don't look as good as the original carpeting, especially around the stairs and hand railing. The cleanup was less than satisfactory. I had to pick up some trash left on the floor and do another vacuum before moving any furniture in.

I won't use them for redoing the first floor. Given the price, I expected top-notch customer service and excellent installation. Both were well short of expectations. A neighbor had Home Depot install a full floor in one day and do it cheaper with better service. I wanted the local store to have a good experience, but I cannot recommend them.
