Taqueria El Paso

Came to visit from Houston and who knew they would be a great Tacos here in New Jersey. This place is legit. Tacos and tortas were great. Good flavors, unfortunately the salsa was way too hot. They did have one that was very mild.

I’ve been here three times and have sat in and also taken to go with my grandma and I can say the food is consistent. If you’re looking for a quiet place not the best option… they someone times have a live band which can be distracting if you’re trying to have a conversation. But if that’s what you’re looking for than it should work for you.

Authentic Mexican cuisine, I am very impressed.

Had a burrito, amazing. Didn't love the tamarind drink, was just ok. But that's fine bc burrito was 10/10 and makes me want to come back and try other items. Very authentic. Hot sauces have kick!!

Incredible tacos! Just had the steak and carnitas. They were juicy and crisp, accompanied by nopales and lime. The tortillas were thick and homemade (not reheated or from a bag). The green sauce was also fresh, homemade too. Lots of onions and cilantro. As opposed to other places, there were four tacos per order and you can choose two flavors per plate.

I’ve eaten at the restaurant before and loved it. It’s BYOB, so you can bring wine or beer. If you’re less than twenty blocks away, they’ll deliver too. You’d have to call to check, saving any app fees.

It’s really a hidden gem. There’s other competitors around (restaurants and trucks) but i feel like the quality deserves a lot of praise. 💜

This place is AMAZING! Their Arabe tacos are soooooo good, I ordered food there for my party; everyone love the food! Absolutely AMAZING! Only thing is that no one speak English, be aware lol!

Wow this place is amazing 🤩 me and the wifey went in for lunch ( we were really hungry)! Man! The food is so delicious and portions are great. We couldn’t finish the whole thing 😅 The Molcajete is a must. It has everything you need and want in a Mexican dish. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Delicious authentic tacos. One order is four tacos, costs $9. Open for inspiring dining and takeout during Covid. Three salsa selection, the bright orange one has some serious heat. From other reviews, seems like they have a taco truck after 6pm on 49th and Bergenline.

Overall 5/5 so far the best tacos in Union City, enjoy!

This last visit was better. My churrasco was well cooked and service was efficient and cordial.

Finding good Mexican food is a challenge... this place does it right. I really haven’t had a meal I didn’t like.
