The funeral home is absolutely BEAUTIFUL inside and out. The gardens outside make for a peaceful place to think and reflect on what you’re thinking of doing. Overall appearance is stunning!
From start to finish Nick F. Was there every step of the way to make it as smooth as possible .he was extremely compassionate and looking to go above and beyond for the assistance I needed… also when it came down to obtaining records from the Navy when I wasn’t able to!!! This was huge . He easily could’ve told me sorry can’t do anything you need to do it but he assisted me in every aspect. He answered all questions even after business hours when he didn’t have to but still answered ! I also requested a special Car urn made for my dad and he delivered! Worth the cost because it was what I was looking for rather than your basic ones to purchase at the funeral home.
He was very personable, professional as well as funny at times when needed. I can’t express how grateful I am for his help and the beautiful funeral my dad received. I highly recommend

Riverview funeral home has been so helpful in this grieving process. I’ve Been going through such a difficult time after a miscarriage and have been dealing with a lot of people that have just been very negative and cold. Once I got in touch with Riverview I felt like someone actually cared and WANTED to help. They were extremely kind and took care of everything, and even cared about my health as well. After experiencing neglect from my doctor riverview actually pushed me to get the care i needed after going through this whole ordeal. If they hadn’t gone above and beyond with their care at this funeral home I wouldn’t have gotten the care I deserved or my daughter. Now I have a beautiful urn with her ashes, and some hope that people aren’t all cold, and actually care. I would recommend riverview to any of my friends that needed services. I will never forget my experience with them.

Riverview funeral home, in my opinion is not only beautiful, but the best. They are kind, caring, with attention to every detail. Nick is very knowledgeable, and explains everything, and makes what is such a heartbreaking time, a little better to navigate I would highly recommend Riverview.

Riverview Funeral Home did a fantastic job in planning and hosting a service for my mother. Roy and Nick were very professional, knowledgeable, and kind. They made the process of organizing a funeral service very smooth. They also were available often for any questions my family and I had. Lastly, the size and location of Riverview Funeral Home was able to accommodate the large number of guests at my mother's service. My family and I were very impressed and would recommend to anyone looking for a funeral home.

Hi every one I am Jordan Fearnley and i had to say my final goodbye to my father who was 45 years young at the age of 20 as it was difficult for me to do such a thing i wanted to thank and give a big shout out to NICK FACCi at River View Funeral Home for doing the best job through all of it at such a hard time we were crunched for time and had a lot of things that needed to be done and ordered and what not and boy i can say Nick Facci killed it i 1000% can not have asked for a any better morticians definitely knocked it out the park and everything was way more than i expected he went above and beyond and teated us like family again thank you NICK FACCi and all other staff at River view

Nick at Riverview was so beyond helpful and kind! Our cat passed away and it's been so hard for my husband and I and we we really just wanted a nice urn for his ashes. We were apprehensive about contacting a funeral home in our search, we just didn't know how it would good or what people would say. But Nick was so kind and sweet about the whole thing and so accommodating. He helped us pick something nice and affordable for us, and we had home in just a week! Thank you again!

I had never planned a funeral before, so I knew nothing about what to do. I googled funeral homes in Troy and read a couple of reviews. Riverview stood out to me because many people said they couldn't say enough about the compassionate service they received, especially from Nick. I called from my mother's room in hospice, and the same Nick I'd been reading about answered the phone. He immediately put me at ease and made an appointment for my husband and I to meet him the next day. He was so kind and patient and compassionate as he explained everything and listened to what we wanted. The timing of the funeral on Saturday morning was tight due to the priest's availability and the closing time of Oakwood Cemetery Crematorium, but Nick organized things with the priest and Oakwood Cemetery, who agreed to stay open later, just for us, so we wouldn't feel rushed. We chose to have a closed, private funeral at the Riverview Funeral Home. The peaceful atmosphere and pretty decor is all so cozy and comforting, I felt like I was in my great-grandma's parlor. We had an open casket because my mother looked so peaceful and natural, and Nick added a single stemmed rose to her clasped hands and a rosary because he knew she was Catholic. (They have an awesome selection of urns too, and I found one my mother would have loved, with purple irises). Any little details we wanted to add, such as displaying the British Union Jack flag, Nick accommodated for us. He is truly a dedicated professional, who loves what he does, and it shows. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else when the next time comes to plan a funeral for a loved one.

My family and friends were absolutely overwhelmed with the compassion and professionalism shown at a recent service for our loved one. Nick and the staff at Riverview went well above and beyond to ensure all of our personal needs were meet.. he was always available whenever we had any questions. The service provided was very professional and reflected in the Honor, Dignity and Respect shown. We were treated with the utmost compassion and I highly recommend Riverview Funeral. Riverview Funeral Home’s empathy and care made making funeral arrangements for my loved one a warm and easy experience. Everything was picture perfect…truly beautiful. Their prices are much more affordable than other venues. The funeral director, Nicholas, was wonderful and made sure everything went smoothly and according to our wishes. I couldn’t have gotten through such a difficult time without them. I will forever be grateful.

I had lost my son in January. I was 5 months pregnant. I had a miscarriage. Hospital gave me a list of funeral homes I saw Riverview Funeral Home on it. I decide to give them a call. I got so much info over the phone. Also got an appointment and went with my husband. Met the staff got so much respect and friendly service. I couldn't pick a better funeral home. They took care of my baby with great care. They have great communication and they help you in many ways. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Keep up the great job and service. When I first walked into Riverview Funeral Home for my grandmother's service I automatically felt a sense of comfort. The detail and the level of care that was provided to us by the way my grandmother was prepared for her simple private viewing pleasantly surprised us. They exceeded our expectations for a brief goodbye and it was such a comfort. The quality of service rendered to my family was superb!

During such a stressful, tiring and emotionally wrought time of caring for Doug throughout his illness , Roy and Nick were very supportive to me and Doug's family. They were most helpful , knowledgeable and courteous. The burdens of making decisions for the deceased were guided and tailored to our needs and wishes. I can't say enough about the wonderful care and service our family received with the recent passing of our Dad, from Nick Facci and the staff at Riverview Funeral Home. Nick is a true professional, with great attention to detail. He is compassionate and flexible, helping to meet the needs of all family members during a very stressful time. Together with Chaplin Harold, Nick ensured that Dad's visitation and memorial service was respectful and meaningful. And the video portion was so well done! Our whole family would like to thank Roy and Nick for taking such good care of my Dad and the whole family. Roy and Nick were both compassionate, patient, professional and Oh My Gosh, did they listen! Mom showed up at the funeral home with all 6 of us girls in tow. We were welcomed with open arms. They listened to everything we had to say, while patiently gathering the information they needed to help us give Dad a send off worthy of our love for him. When it came time to pick out the casket, Nick was 'excited' to show us what he thought was the perfect fit, based on all of our stories. Although we looked through a large part of the offerings, we came back to Nick's original selection. It was so perfect, nothing else compared - Nick was spot on. They took such good care of us - even when it probably felt as though the funeral home was beyond capacity during the viewing and service. As we were ending the service at the cemetery, my sister wanted to play a song for Dad from a CD she brought along. Not a problem! The doors of the hearse were opened, the CD was placed in the player and the volume was turned on high so everyone by Dad's grave could hear the music. Roy and Nick, we're grateful for your care and know that we'll continue our long history with the Riverview Funeral Home. Thank You!!!

I can’t thank Nicholas enough for how comfortable and easy he made this for me. I came in a couple of weeks prior to my daughters father passing away to make arrangements, at that time I was so confused and In so much pain for what was about to happen. Nick was so kind to me and explained everything and the price was very affordable as well! Fast forward to the day of the funeral when everything seemed so dark and gloomy and more pain then I ever felt, as I walked in there was nick and the other funeral directors greeting me and my daughter with so much respect and sympathy, they did such an amazing job with the whole process and I can’t thank them enough. I highly recommend them to anyone who’s looking for a clean affordable beautiful place with the kindest people to take care of your loved ones services.
