Hard-to-beat quality with an unbeatable price. Out of all the haircuts with my longer 4a hair, the cut they gave me was remarkable. Definitely recommend giving it a shot. Preferably book with a prior appointment, though. I got lucky to do a walk-in.

One of the best barbershops in the area. I've had some alright experiences with others, but so far, haven't been let down and fully trust this shop. The barbers are professional and have many years of experience. The exceptional vision that the barbers have acquired allows them to give great results whether you know the style you are looking for or not. When I enter the shop, I leave with no worries and feel like I'm at my best.

I moved from New Jersey to Elmira and Elmira has been hit or miss with barbershops. I was going months at a time without getting a haircut until I finally found a shop that can cut my hair properly! I moved up to the Greater Binghamton area in 2006 from Brentwood, New York and the barbershop was a STAPLE of my childhood. The second I stepped into NY Styles I felt as though I was back home. Over the last SEVENTEEN years, Rico and his staff have been on point with helping me look my best from when I had my tight Puerto Rican curls as a 19 year old kid to a balding 36 year old father of three. I have NEVER left that shop unsatisfied. I have personally watched Rico and his staff handle young children look fresh by providing their first ever hair cut before the first day of preschool and older men look distinguished in their retirement years.These barbers can handle any type of hair with ease, skill, and professionalism while doing so at a beyond reasonable price. I simply ask for you to find out for yourself.

My 4 year old got his haircut this week by River and he did and an amazing job and was great with my son! We haven't been able to get my little guy a haircut in awhile because of some sensory issues but River did an awesome job making my son feel comfortable!! This will be be our new go to for his haircut each time!! I highly recommend NY styles!!!

Rico takes great pride in running this barbershop. Always hooks it up whenever you need a spot even without appointment. Also Dame is great barber highly reccomend!

Definitely a great Barber shop. Staff is always welcoming and friendly, and the hair cuts are fast and efficient and the prices are great, especially for the quality. I've been to alot of barber shops in the past and but none of them compare to this one.

I’ve been coming into Rico’s now for over 20 years. I’m very pleased and happy with my haircuts and the service. The exact reason why I’ve been coming here for so long 🙂). I was a little concerned at first when the pandemic hit and they switched over to appointments only. That concern went away very quickly when I saw that I was able set up an appointment with Rico very easy and get in quickly, with my schedule. Very happy with my experience and I’ll continue being a loyal customer. 👍🏽👍🏽

They are by far the best barber shop I have ever been to, the guys in there are incredible, super cool, when I say they went above and beyond. They went above and beyond to give me the best haircut of my life. Why would you go elsewhere to get a haircut? You wouldn't.. These guys are amazing and will truly transform how you look. You will look so freaking amazing that you'll be stunned by how good they are. Rico and Andy are so kind and make you feel so comfortable being there, even if you've never been there before. GO! This isn't a hype piece from me. I'm telling you they are the best barber shop I've ever been to. I HAVE A WEDDING IN TWO DAYS, stressed about all the planning, and they turned my day around.
