CFJ Park

Great park located in downtown Johnson City NY near Walmart. It has a great playground with slides and swings for children of all ages. Historical carousel and new sprinkler park there are great for children and adults alike to enjoy. There are three gazebos with picnic tables and some grills for a picnic in the park or they can be reserved for parties/get togethers with family and friends.

This is a great park. There is a playground, a carousel, basketball court, and even a waterpark.

Great fun for young and old. If you plan on bringing anyone who can not climb on to the ride good luck. But it is free, and very much fun for those who can participate.

It has a water park area for the little children and a merry-go-round for the kids to ride. You can rent the Pavilion for birthday parties or cookouts. I love it because you don't have to be in the house.

I went to a craft fair it was nice pleasant experience.

The park is so clean and there's a beautiful antique wooden carousel there that happens to be one of the few that's still running. It's a great place to bring kids and there's a water park to cool off at on hot Summer days.

This is my most go-to place in Binghamton. Updated playground for kids. Has a tree house, swings, see-saw, monkey bars, slides and lot more. The best part is its well maintained carousel that is absolutely free. And last but not the least, the park features two swimming pools for kids and adults.

Park is very clean, quiet. Has 2 playgrounds, one that is suitable for tiny tots and one for bigger kids. We love the carousel and the splash park! Many covered picnic tables, and there are bathrooms, too! And don't forget the volleyball and basketball courts.

I loved CFJ Park. Loved the swimming pool growing up. Great playground. Now at age 70 I walk the walkway. .25 miles around. I walk around the track and incorporate the 2 large buildings twice in each lap. It is .55 miles around for each lap. I walk 4 laps.2.2 miles total.

Kids always love the playground, splash pad, and carousel.

The play ground is unique because the center is 3 floors tall and the children love it. (The 3rd floor is fully railed / bared in lol)

Free carousel?! Yes please. They also had a children's water park and playground, but I didn't go to that. Its a small but lovely park, just outside. Did I mention that you pay absolutely nothing to ride the merry go round?!

This park has really matured well over the years. They have renovated the Carousel and maintained it. They have a little Water fun area for toddlers and a great new playground on the far side that is three stories high and has a big tube slide. This is the main Park in Johnson City much like recreation park is to Binghamton

That is a great park for a quick stop to let kids play! Really clean and well maintained place.

I like this park. They really cleaned it up a few years back. Good community park. Lots of use which is great. Fun sprinkler park for the kids and the carousel is wounderful. Lots of picnic areas. This is within the city itself so it isn't surrounded with woods, but very nice.

Get tucked away Park with water sprinkler, play ground for toddlers and another for older children. Very clean and somewhat quiet. Across from JC Walmart.

Best Park in the area. Multiple pavilions, play ground, sprinkler water park, bathrooms, large fields (for sports or play), and a carousel! I've hosted and gone to multiple events here. Best option in the area for an outdoor birthday party for kids. I would suggest reserving a pavillion for events though, which is easily done through the Town of Union by submitting a Property Use Request form and.submit it to Johnson City Parks Dept. (243 Main Street
Johnson City, NY 13790) with your fee. A fee of $40 for residents and $65 for non-residents, $35 for non-profit events. The area is popular, so if you absolutely need the pavillion, reserve ahead of time, especially for weekend events. The pavilions all have charcoal grills for use as well. Also, conveniently next to Walmart (incase you forget anything or need some last minute supplies!) This park is great for events, or just a nice day out. Would 10/10 recommend.
