We frequently get takeout from this location. We used to live right across the street, and we would get take out all the time, but even though we’ve moved a few miles away, it’s still our go to chinese restaurant. The woman at the front counter is absolutely lovely, and has even offered to help me carry my food to my car when I had my son with me. Absolutely delicious food, cannot recommend the crab rangoons enough

I get my mom food here often. For the most part everything is delicious per her report. Fried rice is the best around. Staff is great!

Went here for the first time, and was impressed , everything was made fresh so waiting wasn't an issue, portions are really good for the price of the meal, we got two combos for 2 adults and a side of shrimp lo mein and cant complain. The rice was perfectly cooked , the egg roll was pipin hot . The inside of the restaurant is small but it doesn't take away from the service.

There are a couple of tables. The food was so good, though. Loved the egg rolls!! Great take out place!! Hard to find a place to park.

Best Chinese takeout in the Binghamton/Vestal/JC/Endicott area - I've been to them all, and this one absolutely takes the cake. I highly recommend the sesame chicken, chicken lo mein, hot and spicy chicken, pork egg rolls, pork fried rice, egg drop soup, and broccoli with garlic sauce.

Small, hole in the wall, primarily takeout Chinese food restaurant. Generous servings, always delicious and hot. Highly Competitive pricing for what you get.

Wow. I love Chinese food, and this place comes out on top. Might not be the fanciest restaurant, basically take out, but more than worth it. Customer Service was friendly, food was quick, best of all delicious. I’ll make the trip to Golden Star in Johnson City for my Chinese food cravings from now on.

It’s not every day that I like Chinese food, but I must say the food here is amazing! They provide good portions at reasonable prices. Their fried rice is really yummy! Their service for take out is very nice! The kid in me jumped up in delight upon finding a fortune cookie 🥠 in my takeout! I will definitely be back here soon!

We’ve gotten take-out from here a few times and I have always enjoyed it. Most recently was Monday night. We’ve also had Chinese take-out from a few different places in the area and I find that I prefer this place over the others. Our meals have always been consistent and delicious. Lots of good flavors. Nice friendly people that run the place too. Great little local business to support.

This was my first order from Golden Star... Amazing food!!! This place gives you your moneys worth! The sesame chicken was more then just breading and sauce. It was large pieces of white meat. The pork fried rice was filled with pork. Steamed dumplings were perfect! I will definitely be ordering again from this restaurant.

If you ask me this place is amazing. The food is Great. We had lunch outside at there one table. First time here won't be my last. Don't pass this place without stopping for done take out. You'll thank me!

The food is delicious! Portions generous. Seafood entrees contain good sized shrimp, lobster, and scallops. Owners very friendly! Food cooked quickly. Prices on par with other take-out places.

The owners are very nice. This is a small place but they have an outside eating area on the front porch which is nice. This is the building where Nando's used to be. I've had the shrimp and brocolli which comes with white rice and the portion size was so big my husband and I shared it. It was delicious and had quite a bit of shrimp.

The food was great, best Chinese I’ve had in awhile. Would definitely go there again. I ordered the sweet & sour chicken

Friendly owners and good food. A slightly different General's sauce than others and I really like it. Parking is a little difficult (watch out for the poll in the middle of the side lot), but people are in and out fast.

Good Place. Tried their food 1st time last week and it was good. Chicken Noodle Soup, Vege Roll and sweet and sour chicken were all v good. Recommended place 4 good affordable lunch.
