Truly a wonderful and premium PC buying experience! I will take the time to write a review for anyone curious about the company. I’m a long time PC gamer and normally build my own PC’s but life has been hectic so Maingear stepped in for me.

Being able to call into a company these days is becoming more rare, or includes long hold times. Not Maingear! When I initially was doing my research and seeing what and where to buy, Maingear was one of the only companies that I got ahold of immediately. The sales team is incredible, great at what they do (clearly hear I am lol) but Lou (spelling, sorry if I butchered it man!) is an absolute rock. I called and talked to him for likely a few hours over the span of a week before making my purchase. These guys are passionate, enthusiastic, and really know what they are talking about. Over the span of a week, Lou and I put together a premium top end build that would work perfect for my needs.

The PC is a North (Fractal north case) build with a 14700k and an RTX 4090 founders edition card. The build quailty is beyond what I could do, including a beautiful 3D printed support brace that bolts in to support the front of the GPU in a clean, almost hidden way. The cable managment is perfect, even if I spent 10 hours doing it there’s nothing I could have done better. The performance is mind blowing (my other PC was just about 5 years old all big generational jump).

The only thing I added was 2x of my personal m.2 drives (which they expect) and a very nice braided Cablemod GPU 12vhpwr cable (Maingear was out of stock on black, but confirmed they use Cablemod cables so I ordered one on my own and installed it, see picture)

The packaging and shipping was phenomenal, well packaged with no issues during shipping!

All in all, I had an amazing expierence with these guys, and as of now I plan to use them in the future for my PC needs. I hope this review helps someone looking to buy from them!

Recently ordered a custom Rush desktop, and was impressed with assembly and shipping times. I placed an order on November 12th and the PC was in my possession by mid day December 1st. Everything arrived in perfect condition. The build quality, cable management, and overall look of this thing is far better than I could have achieved on my own, even having built multiple systems. Performance and thermals are unlike anything else I've seen in person. Pricing was very reasonable, especially for a 3 year warrantee. Thank you Maingear and your team, for building me my dream PC!

Long overdue Review since I’ve had my system around 10 months now.

F131 Apex that cost over 10k. Super worried to spend that at first… Read on.

Before I begin I don’t think I would have bought this system without that great help of Jordan Polite. His customer service was excellent at all levels. So Thank you Jordan.

F131 Apex Loaded up. Auto paint is smooth as butter, get it. The system ships on a Crate, so you don’t have to worry about the Delivery guy throwing it around.

Performance is as you’d expect from the latest and greatest. My Temps are what’s impressive to me. Everything is running very cool at max settings. No Throttling and very quiet under load. What I love most about the F131, because there are no Fans pulling in air… it stays super clean on the inside.

All my future systems “will” be a Maingear. They even let me buy and send them some Be quiet “Light Wings” Fans to install over the ones on the site.

I know it’s a big decision to spend this much on a system. But it’s really more than a system. It’s a beautiful, fast, perfectly built gaming computer that’s a joy to power up. And you hardly know it’s on when you’re gaming, so quiet!

Edit.... They discontinued this model, sad since it's iconic. If they move away from the Apex Models and only sell those Ugly Shroud computers. I'll find another place for my next system.

For anyone wondering about longevity, I bought a Maingear F131 Super Stock in January 2011. I am still using it today as a second computer. I look at the specs now and shake my head at the changes. As for Maingear service, when I got my PC, I had an intermittent problem that would cause it to reboot without warning. When all the troubleshooting couldn't find the problem, Maingear shipped me a brand new PC to resolve the issue. Glad to see they are still pumping out great systems and wish them continued success.

1st time I trusted somebody else but myself to build a PC for me and especially when you’re spending 7000$ on it and I have to see they totally met my expectations and then some. Had a little issue with my pump and they took care of it right away after I brought it back to them and I was also thanked by gifting an amazing gaming chair even though I ordered PC before that promotion started. Highly recommend them especially if you live in NJ!

I've read a lot of reviews on here that mentioned customer service and even specific customer service Representatives to which they wish to draw attention to because of great service and helpfulness. Well this is another one of those reviews. As a small business owner myself I can tell you the worth of a company lies within its people. I could tell from my initial order that this is a company that understands that. Just one of these great people is a sales representative named Leo Barboza. This man with the awesome name talked to me like he was trying to help a friend not trying to make a sale. Even to the extent of talking me out of a component or two that would have made them more money but I didn't really need. He helped me understand each and every component in the computer and was quite knowledgeable. I talked to quite a few computer companies in the last week looking for my new high spec gaming computer but I was easily most impressed by main gear and specifically by the help I got from Leo Barboza.

I haven't received my computer from maingear yet but when I do I plan to update this review with my impressions of my new gaming computer. Honestly I'm actually looking forward to it instead of neurotically worried like I normally am when I get a computer.

Quality pre-builds that are individually built. I bought two PC's from MG and they're flawless. (Vybe 3080 & Vybe 3060Ti.). I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. If you're in NJ, their local pick up option is amazing.

Can not say enough about Maingear in Kenilworth! They built my sons computer three years ago and now just upgraded it for us. Super fast, super pleasant to work with. Worked with Jordan who is phenomenal, knowledgeable and one of the nicest people I have met. My son is beyond thrilled with the new upgrade, the Vybe is beautiful and our son was only without it for one day! All staff is fantastic! Thank you again Maingear!

This was one of the PC system integrators that i had in mind by word of mouth for my new pc. Didnt feel like building another one and last time i bought an ibuypower which was overpriced at the time but it came in with no issues aside from cheap periferals that i didnt want or need. When that one finally started showing its age i went for a new build with Maingear and also was considering NZXT. After a few searches and a Gamers Nexus review or 10 i went with Maingear over NZXT for a various reasons. It was a bit more than i thought id be paying but so far its WELL worth it. Ended up being around 3500 for the build, regular warranty, AIO for the CPU, threw in some of their fans(i knew the lian li case they supplied didnt technically come with them if you built it yourself so i just figured to be safe. plus i like red LED anyway). They gave me a lead time of 5-10 days and im pretty sure i got it in 8 or 9. They were VERY communicative about the process and responded to my questions that i gave on a saturday within either that day or on early monday. I love the build so far, no issues so far aside of it not wanting to turn on after i tried to put a drive in it. And even when that happened i panicked and chatted with support. Much to my suprise instead of a chat answer THEY CALLED ME ON THE PHONE WITHIN 5 MINUTES. Still dont know what i had done wrong but after i re re started the pc with the new drive back in it(i pulled it and tested in my old rig, was fine there)and after he asked a few questions it just magically turned on fine ha ha. (thats what i get for not trusting my own insticts). So just the fact i got such great customer service and the tech was SUPER polite, understanding and non judgmental. If i had one critique it would be that i never got hard drive screws for the hot swap bays to put my old drives that i never used screws, to install into the new pc. Cust service also said he'd try and get some out to me but i havent heard or gotten them yet. HIghly reccomend this company for the support team especially. I also know that i got this pc with the economy being crazy so the price was fine for me. (and got quality parts) stuck with an AMD build because price per part was a lot lower than the nvidia counterparts. Also forgot to mention it was the Maingear RUSH series, partially chose that line because of the lian li dynamic XL black case with hot swappable bays becuase i knew the bays were pre wired included in the cost of the build(and there were 4 of them)

Edited to 4 stars because i just figured out the 3600 memory, which AMD runs best at per Gamers Nexus was gimping me since it was downclocked to 2400. A company like this should know better.

I purchased a MAINGEAR Roma R chair and it was the best investment I have made for my comfort and style. From the packaging, instructions, world class sturdy components and the ease of installation I will be recommending this chair to all of my friends and family. I am usually in front of my computer anywhere from 8-12 hours per day and it helped with my posture and lower back support. During video calls my clients and co-workers always compliment the black and red tone as well. If you are in the market for a gaming chair or just a chair for your office, don't look any further and buy one today!

I got my computer last month. I orginally wanted to build my own computer but my dad said that i shouldn't because i did not have enough experience. I started looking for places with custom PC builders and i found maingear and their incredible computers. My dad said i had a 3k budget, so i started testing out rigs and came up with the one i have today. I did a lot of research before ordering and found that my parts were great!
After getting it out of the box and starting it up it automatically came up with the code 9E, and after some research it doesn't seem to be anything bad that is damaging my PC. I still want to know how to fix it though because i simply can't find out a way on google.
Performance is like a beast.
On some of my favorite VR games on PC like Onward and Phasmophobia i get upward of 90 fps while on my laptop i got like 20. On war thunder and CSGO i manage to run around 120 fps and 200 fps on max settings respectively. And while i do think that some of this relies of internet, its a huge step from my laptops FPS.

Thanks a lot maingear for giving me a great PC when my dad said i couldn't make one myself.

MAINGEAR is by far the best company I've ever worked with, period (and that goes for non-PC companies too!)! Everyone there is an absolute joy to talk to and makes sure you have the best experience possible, from picking the parts to the buying process to the setup, they've got you covered on every front. Their customer service is incredible, and I am beyond thankful to have chosen such a great company for my first gaming PC.

I came into this having no experience in PC hardware, gaming, or even Windows, but after making a few calls about buying and setup, I was completely and totally confident I would be getting a quality machine at a good price with stellar customer support, and that has been the case every step of the way! Any issues were easily and quickly solved, and they offer numerous ways to accommodate and best help you!

Huge shoutout to both Kevin and Jordan for being absolutely wonderful, knowledgeable, and patient people to work with throughout the entire process! They set the standards for being not only excellent support, but humans in general, and they, alongside the rest of the company, are what make MAINGEAR my go-to for any future PCs!

Ordered a computer for gaming. Had it for a week now and so far everything is amazing. In terms of customer service, it was very fast and the computer was shipped within 5 days. Overall, really great service and product. Hope to order more in the future

I purchased a Turbo with custom Apex water cooling and I have to say that my expectations were completely blown away. I had some idea of what I was getting into because I already saw a breakdown of the system on LTT but to see it in person is a whole other experience. It's gorgeous, and the custom water cooling keeps everything cooler than I've ever seen it (Doom Eternal at 4k120 with Ultra Nightmare settings and the graphics card is sitting at a cool 67 degrees C. WOW.

With that said, I did have some trouble as there seemed to be a very slow leak in the system that I noticed when it started losing coolant. Enter my second amazing experience, Customer Support. Of course I reached out to Maingear and sent them some pictures of what was happening, they said that absolutely shouldn't be happening and they would diagnose/fix it. Only three days later they had already had it apart and rebuilt replacing all of the fittings and o-rings just to be sure.

I'd also like to thank Carson in the CS department for going above and beyond while repairing my system...and for taking the extra time to answer all of my many, many questions (as I'm new to custom water cooled systems). You're the best!

Tl;dr - Maingear makes an absolutely solid custom build, their customer support is amazing, and I would absolutely buy from them again 10/10.

WHAT AN AMAZING COMPANY!!!!

From the moment I meet with the Team at MAINGEAR computers, i was blown away by how far advanced they were in the industry. They are best known for building beautiful gaming machines, but i approached them with a different need. I was looking for a very powerful Rendering machine to run my software as Apple was no longer able to meet the speed i desperatly needed.. Wallace was able to find "The Bottle Neck" with my current software, computer, operating system combination , and built me a gorgeous, fast, and powerful machine! I was treated like first class from day one-to-pickup. They tested the unit with meas they wanted to ensure everything was to my needs. In all honesty, i was speechless after seeing what this computer could do!! If you looking for the best-of-the-best in customer service, knowledge base, equipment, and style, you have found them. There is no one that can hold a candle to these guys.

The greatest company hands down from staff to the CEO! I was in search of a PC to stream and game since what I had was not cutting it nomore. I shop around for long time and found maingear. The awesome customer service and how they listened what I wanted and needed helped me build the best build I can imagine, For a passion I love. Couple months later I saw they came out with the game chair, and most I say they most comfortable and easy chair to but together no lie less than 10 mins. I have back issue and since had this chair I can sit with no problems for hours and hours and still feel so comfortable. Maingear holds a great service and name and I maingear for a awesome service keep up the great work. Also love my vybe and forma gt chair!

I bought my PC from these guys about 2 years ago after doing some heavy research on prebuilt manufacturers/vendors. Couldn't have been happier with my decision. These guys know what they are doing and the quality I received exceeded expectations. Since then, I've had to contact their tech support as well and have nothing but pleasurable experiences with their support team. Shoutout to Jordan for being awesome. Highly recommend if you are looking to get a prebuilt!

In 2018 I bought a custom built F131 from MAINGEAR and I couldn't be any happier.

Only recently did I start to have issues with the pumps for the water cooler, but in contacting support, Gerard assisted me and he was absolutely phenomenal. A true professional.

It ended up needing to be dropped off to MAINGEAR, in which I worked with Carson. He was extremely thorough, and very communicative via email and updates via phone call. He had the issues diagnosed and repaired within 3 - 4 business days. Luckily I live ~an hour away, so I had my rig back up and running within 1 week. Even with the current pandemic going on, he had it back to me in no time which is highly appreciated.

The original purchase process was a breeze as-well. I purchased my rig, but realized after I wanted some upgrades. They charged me the difference, and my PC was exactly as expected.

This is a top notch company who will continuously receive my business.

This company is AMAZING! I bought my pc from them 1.5 years ago and the entire process was relatively painless. They kept me updated the entire way through. Just last week, my CPU liquid cooler started making a funny noise. They asked me to ship it back and they would fix it. Here comes the fun part....my system arrived with not only the CPU cooler broken, but the GPU and motherboard were shot, and the case was severely dented (thanks UPS). Maingear called me and informed me of the situation. They offered to replace everything except the case for free as I was still under warranty! Man, what a blessing! All in all, I got my pc back exactly one week from the date I shipped it and everything is basically brand-new! They kept me updated the entire way and were super friendly. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

Maingear's customer service and attention to detail are top notch. The next time I buy a computer it will absolutely be from Maingear. The computer they custom built for me runs as smooth as butter, and has been running smooth for almost 2 years now.
