Coxsackie General Store

Checked out this store while I was in town. It was very cute. Jack at the counter was wonderful and informative! The espresso was delicious! The shop is overloaded with specialty items! The fresh produce looked great. They had a lot of local goods. When I'm back in the area, I'd go again!

SUCH a good spot. I rarely love coffee I get from coffee shops, etc - I’m a diner-coffee type of person, so it’s often too bitter or strong for my taste - but the coffee here hits the spot. Not to mention the selection of dry goods and frozen / refrigerated stuffs is awesome. Turned me on to kimchi, which I now put on everything. It’s beautiful inside, and the staff is so lovely, you won’t want to leave!

Mansion + Reed is a hidden gem! Every time we’ve gone in has been an enjoyable experience. The menu has great variety (highly recommend an iced hibiscus tea sweetened, with an almond croissant 😍 ) and there’s lots of local gourmet goodies for sale. Really inviting atmosphere and quality service. We’ll be frequenting this place a lot in the future!

One of my favorites! Their coffee beverages are so masterfully crafted. They have such a unique variety of gourmet goods and beer as well. The owner is also the nicest! I'll always be back to this amazing place.

Fantastic little store. They also carry items you won't find at your regular grocery store. The coffee and tea is a hit. Very high quality items on the shelves that won't disappoint. Highly recommended.

I love this speciality grocery store in our little town. They sell one of my favorite things in this world. BACON JAM. Their coffees ☕ and grilled cheese are out of bounds. Justine always takes great care of us. In fact, when I had got home from the hospital in May from covid I ordered items for delivery and they brought me a free pack of cookies. Local folks who care about the community while serving exceptional, high quality foods. It is pricey but well worth it. Try their grilled cheese and add bacon jam!! You won't regret it. Support local businesses!!!

We visited Coxsackie for the weekend, and visited Mansion + Reed two times. It is a charming store with friendly staff who help you feel at home. We enjoyed a rainy Saturday morning drinking coffee and reading our books while also picking up delicious local treats and souvenirs for our family. When we visit Coxsackie again, we will certainly be back!

A really lovely, charming shop with a fantastic selection of local and specialty items. On top of that, they make wonderful sandwiches, and have a truly impressive variety of hot sauces. (I recommend the Queens Majesty ginger & scotch bonnet!)

So much fun food to be had here. Cheeses, meats, crazy crackers, hummus and ice cream, penny candy and chocolates and BEER. Great selection of beer. ❤ this place.

My husband and I spent two days here while attending a wedding, and we cannot say enough about how fabulous it is--at least twice the space of a regular hotel room, with twice the facilities, including a full kitchen with stove, full size refrigerator and microwave, toaster and coffeemaker, and very elegant cutlery and crockery, including pots and pans. The room itself is very well lit, with hardwood floors, recessed lights, a good a/c unit and ceiling fan, and a big walk in closet and bath. The view of the river Hudson out the back window is terrific, and Riverside Park, in back, is great, with a playground for kids 2-12, and maple trees whose leaves rustle romantically in the wind, with the cheery chirping of the cicadas. Moreover, the owner/manager, Lia, was pleasant, accommodating and helpful in the extreme. We will DEFINITELY stay here again if/when next we come through Coxsackie, and we recommend it very highly to anyone looking for a place to stay in this area. One caveat: the building is in historic Reed district, and currently undergoing outside renovations , so it may not look that promising or enticing when you pull up. But once you get up to your room, it's WONDERFUL! Enjoy!

Great Iced Chai and apply pastry! The food was perfect! It's a 2 minute walk from the newly opened, beautiful Coxsackie Hudson Riverside Park!

We visitted the store during Christmas by the River - it was so cute! Lots of local products displayed on open shelves. The shelf faces detailed the name of each product in chalk. It was a very warm and friendly feel.

This place is so cute! It is so nice having a place to find local meats eggs and groceries (HELLO gluten free pasta options!) The craft beer selection is vast. Coffee is fantastic!

High dollar high quality options! A great place that I hope continues to evolve! Need a treat? It's here, missing an ingredient they may have that too! Always coffee, incredibly friendly. Fluffy dogs!

I like coming here to find high quality gifts and goods that you can't find at the grocery store. They also sell coffee and have a small area to sit

I can't imagine staying anywhere else after finding this place. Quiet, gorgeous room, lovely town to walk through and the park so close for early morning and late evening strolls. So long Holiday Inn....
