Russell Cecil

I am a 58 year old individuals with severe spine issues and in severe pain. During my treatment at Mohawk Valley Orthopedic, Dr. Cecil was completely unavailable and refused to allow me to consult with him directly, even though he was making decisions on my behalf, which were unnecessarily prolonging my pain. When I complained that I couldn’t speak to my doctor, I was discharged from the practice.
This practice is severely understaffed and does not have the resources to treat their patients. This is the norm in healthcare right now, and the elitism and unavailability of Dr Cecil seems to be common. That doesn’t make it right.
I advise that anyone reading this avoid Dr. Cecil at all costs. He is apathetic to his patients and practices medicine with very questionable ethics in my opinion.
Please understand, I don’t wish to upset anyone. I just think you should know this before considering this provider. Thank you for reading this.
