Sam's Seafood Steakhouse

Sam's is a great place with some amazing food and even better service. The prime rib was excellent and the brown ale French onion soup was to die for. Solid drink menu and dessert rounded us out for a great evening in this small town!

Homely restaurant which attracts a good crowd on Friday evening. Live music, as there was a blues band playing during this review. Stiff cocktails and delicious desserts. Friendly waitstaff and clean bathroom. In March 2023, the Fulton County Libertarian Party hosted Larry Sharpe at this location.

I can't say enough good things about my family's experience at Sam's last night. We had a party of 29 (!) and everything was flawless. Our servers were fantastic, the food was delicious, portions were huge, and everyone had a great time.

Our favorites are the affordable lunch specials with a soup and half sandwich. Drinks are also a deal (pictured is the holiday menu).

I found your lunch menu by accident, ordered 2 reubens for hubby and me and a french dip for the unrefined and difficult to please adult son that just moved back home. We found my son rolling a bite of his sandwich around in his mouth, eyes closed, and a happy grin on his face and knew it was a hit! We all had your amazing onion soup and enjoyed every bit of the fresh spices and just deliciousness. Thank you for an amazing experience for take out. Next time we will come to you! YUM, YUM, YUM!!!

If you are in the Johnstown, NY area and want a good dinner. You must come here! Prices look high, but the sizes of the dishes make it well worth it!

Nice menu and the prices were great.. Angela the bartender was very accommodating.. Haven't been there in awhile.. We will definitely go back

This place is my Sunday go to and I always have a good meal in the service is outstanding every time.

Food was amazing, atmosphere was great, and the server we had Riley was absolutely amazing and insanely attentive.

This restaurant is Amazing! Food so perfectly proportioned and flavorful! So many great choices, We had the Shrimp cocktail for an Appetizer and the Seafood Chowder was So delicious and fresh!! i had the Salmon Bruschetta and my husband the Seafood Platter..Yum! Great ambiance and Friendly Service throughout my meal!! New to the area and i think i found my spot:)

We went to Sam's for lunch. Everything was great and the prices are reasonable. They have a full bar along with a fair assortment of drafts. I had shrimp Scampi which came with my choice of pasta. It contained 6 large shrimp. It tasted great and freshly made. My Scampi was 15 dollars which is a steal in today's world. Highly recommended.

Food is top notch! Service is always amazing. Music is good. The atmosphere has a nice positive vibe to it...but the food is always Superior!

Was staying in town for the night and Sam's was highly recommended by the hotel clerk. Awesome food, decent prices, very nice & friendly staff, and conveniently located on the main road through town. I, too, will say it's highly recommended.

The food took a little while to come out but it was delicious! Our server was very friendly and attended to all of our requests. Overall amazing food and staff - truly a rare gem.

We each had steak, NY Strip for my man and Delmonico for me. We got a baked potato and broccoli as our sides so we could share and he had steamed clams as an appetizer.
The salads were fresh and delicious, as were the warm rolls, and the steaks were cooked to perfection.
Our server was very sweet.

Brandon our wait person was excellent as well as the food. Always a great experience.

Absolutely amazing service Danielle was my server she did Great very attentive came back smiling every single time. It was a live band that played very good music smooth tone it definitely set the atmosphere plus the food was the best I’ve had in the area I recommend the calamari and lamb chops presentation was good. I recommend family friends and couples it’s friendly to everyone
