I had the pleasure of working with Josh and Bill to purchase a used vehicle. I was pleasantly surprised by Josh's patience and support in sorting through all my issues. I am forever grateful. Bill was amazing and simply human. He made the process smooth and flawless to the best of his ability. Thanks once again Great Team. It was an absolute pleasure.

I came into the dealership and asked to test drive a used car which I then placed a down payment to hold the car until I received an insurance check I had been waiting on as a result of an accident. Before leaving I was reassured that the car was mine and that there was a sold sticker on the car and it was being held for me. A few days later I received a text from salesman 1, the salesman who I placed the deposit with informing me he was leaving the dealership and someone would reach out to me to take over my purchase. I was never called, so after two days I then had to contact the dealership, NO ONE contacted me to make sure I was being taken care of.

When I asked for a purchase agreement from my new salesmen to finalize my loan with the bank it came back at a higher price than what was originally agreed on with my previous salesperson, who had sent me a picture of the price days earlier before his exit, but neglected to send the official purchase agreement. I was told that the higher price included a "Lo-Jack Tracking Device" being placed on the car, an added feature put on by Vision to their cars, which I had been previously warned by a friend who was a former employee was standard procedure.

I asked for this to be removed and for them to honor the original price that I HAD IN WRITING from the original salesmen. Salesmen 2 informed me that they would not honor the price and that it was never going to be that price to begin with and blamed his former colleague for misrepresenting the price. Feeling like I was being taken advantage of, I asked to speak to someone above him.

After two days of silence from Salesmen 2. I was contacted by Scott, the sales manager. Little did I know that the second salesman assigned to my deal also left the dealership (never was notified) and my new salesperson 3 (someone I had never known was handling the sale) was out for the week because of a family emergency. Scott was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional over the phone, nonetheless I set up a time on the following Monday to finalize the purchase. After getting no where with Scott, as a last ditch effort to advocate for myself I got in touch with the general manager of the dealership, Edgar. He expressed that they were not trying to "pull one over on me" with the price change and restated that my first salesmen had written the wrong price on the sheet I was sent a picture of Day 1. He said if I wanted we could explore other options for cars. After countless back and fourth, I swallowed my pride and decided I still wanted the car. After thinking this over for a day (A Sunday) I called first thing Monday morning to confirm a time to pick up the car. Edgar informed me that he needed some time to "get his ducks in a row" and that he would give me a call later. After not hearing from him all day I called him at 5pm where he proceeded to tell me that they sold the car to someone else. NOT ONCE DID I EVER SAY THAT I DIDN'T WANT THE CAR. Edgar then tried to put the blame back on me and say that I gave him the impression I didn't want the car. Apparently wanting the original price you're given is "not wanting the car." I can't believe how horribly run this dealership is. The disorganized, lack of professionalism and communication is absurd. I will NEVER be giving them my business and I will make sure everyone I know is aware of the HORRIBLE experience I had there.

Do. Not. Buy. Your. Car. Here.
I fail to see how this business is even functioning. I wish someone would have warned me not to go here.
I bought a car at the start of February. It should not have been as hard as it was to pay someone for a car.
As of 3.18, I'm still dealing with these people.
I spent my entire Saturday afternoon- and evening- at Vision Dodge Jeep in Penfield trying to buy a car. I spent two hours alone just waiting to pay, and by the time I sat with the woman in accounting, everyone else went home, telling her to lock up. I drove my car home without a bill of sale or any sort of confirmation other than a photocopy of the check I wrote to pay for the car. When I asked for paperwork and expressed worry at having nothing to show for my purchase, she photocopied my check and gave me that. I never received an email or any regular mail confirming my purchase, despite being promised I'd have everything within the week. It's been over a month and now my insurance is doubting that I own the car, threatening to pull my policy- which, by the way, the salesman I worked with promised to take care of for me. He even told me about the kickback he gets going through Geico.
Four days into owning the car, a 2022, the engine shut down because there was no coolant in the reservoir. After waiting in rush hour traffic for 2 hrs for a tow, I was told no one could help me because it was after hours. I eventually learned "the hose clamps needed tightening or replacing", which I find odd for a newer car with roughly 30k miles on it. It took nearly a month to get the car repaired, though I was kindly provided a loaner. A day after getting my car back, I noticed a chip in the windshield, so that needed repairing.
And now, a month and a half after purchasing the car, I'm still waiting on my bill of sale, trying to prove to my insurance that I do in fact own the car. The dealer cashed my check no problem. After a week of calling the dealer every day and asking for soemone to email or just mail me something, most of the time getting sent straight to voicemail, I received an email purposely titled "second attempt"... with a cell phone photo of a print out of a bill, without my signature on it. There was never a first attempt, or it could have easily been forwarded. Here's hoping my insurance accepts this photo!?
When I asked the other Vision dealer- the one who did my repairs- about the repairs done, they laughed and filled me in on the actual repairs- I learned there was more to it all than just a loose hose clamp.
I purposely went to a dealer like Vision Dodge Jeep to avoid the back door dealings of little corner lot dealers, but this has been ridiculous. I cannot believe a company would operate like this.
Do not go to this dealer.
