Gloversville Public Library

The library is fantastic. It has a great selection as a very helpful and knowledgeable staff . I'm very satisfied with my library. They. also have4 🖥 very satisfied.

Beautiful library! The building is amazing. They have the kindest staff. They are always willing to help. They are very involved with the community. I love that they were willing to host a recovery related event. Not to mention the books!

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL library. Has a "children's room" with a variety of different toys, learning, motor skill building activities etc. Great for a rainy or even super hot day to take the kiddos for something to do. They have "baby groups" 2x a month as well as a bunch of other activities as well. They also have a HUGE variety of random items you'd never think a library would have that you can check out, such as telescopes, tents, metal detector, video games the list goes on and on. The staff are also phenomenal!! Can't say enough about this place!! You definitely don't feel like you're in Gloversville when you're in here!!

Needed help printing off my phone I love the way it is quick and easy and they were very friendly definitely going back if I need to print again it was cheap as well to print.

I take my granddaughter very often. She is 6 and learning to read. She and I are always greeted with a smile and very helpful workers. It's our happy place.

A nice place to go to look up books

This is one of my favorite places in the whole city to visit I absolutely love the new Renovations they've made and the Librarians that work here are wonderful,polite and courteous. my son has special needs and they are always so welcoming and kind to him. The Librarians always suggest a particular book or several books for him that they think he may be interested in. And even though he gets noisy sometimes they do not mind they even offer to help occupy him (example- playing with blocks or reading a book to him ) so I can choose books for myself. They have an amazing selection of books that is always updated and expanding.

Took the kids to get a library card and check out some easy readers. The staff was soo soo nice and helpful.

Friendly staff. Convenient curbside pickup. No browsing but online catalog available and orders from other libraries locally arrive quickly.

My family and myself love it here. So many amazing things going on as well.

I love having such a great local library, and that it's part of a great library system. Reading has become even more important since the lockdown.

Great childrens section. My daughter enjoys going there to use the computer, play games and check out books
