North Memorial Health Clinic & Urgent Care - Elk River

I had an appointment with this location's Urgent Care 2/12/2024 and enjoyed it very much! Ellen (CMA, I am assuming) roomed me and Kari, PA-C was my provider. Both of them were very polite and asked me very good questions that streamlined the appointment. Kari is very knowledgeable and I trust her very much with my healthcare so I will be following her recomendations. And the receptionists that checked me in that told me "pulmonary" meant heart and not respiratory issues gave me a good laugh 😂

Nice short wait at Urgent Care. I was brought to a room just after a few mementos. You could tell things were in disarray because of construction going on. But, they were well staffed and made sure I was not lost in the building. I had great MA am PA's. They were friendly and had sense of humor. The made me feel at esse. My visit was over before I knew it. I really liked their Urgent Care. My medicine was ready at the pharmacy as soon as I got there.

I have visited the urgent care numerous times with my kiddos and all visits were good. We started to see Dr. Lachowitzer at the main clinic and adore her! We always have short waits, which is necessary with small kids (moved from Fairview after waiting 30-45min every time!).

A review honestly won’t do them justice. However, for what it’s worth the care and service my family received by the staff at North Memorial Urgent Care was exceptional and genuine. I can’t thank Nicole, Kelly and the super helpful and patient woman at the front desk (whose name I unfortunately didn’t get) enough. The care they provided, their kindness, and sense of urgency was above and beyond.

Efficient & friendly. Wait time, as expected, 2.5 hours & the team managed expectations very well.

I had to bring my Granddaughter in Saturday morning the 9th. She was up all night crying from pain in her ear. We were greated from two ladies at the front desk. Brought back to a room within 10 minutes, the nurse Brittany was fantastic she was super bubbly and talked right to my granddaughter. After she exited the
room Dr. Kathryn Wilson entered so
pleasant and thorough. She explained to Mckenna about her ear. Called in a
prescription for her.We left but not without a sticker and them saying goodbye. Will be back

Every nurse and doctor has always been so kind and helpful.

Dr. Eric Harl is awesome! I just switched my kids over to him for primary care. We went in today to urgent care... no appointment... was told it would be 60 to 90 minute wait. We waited 5 minutes! When we got into a room I asked the nurse if Dr. Eric was in . She said he wasn’t in the urgent care today. 2 minutes later Dr. Eric’s nurse came in and brought us to one of his rooms. When he heard we were there he wanted to see my daughter. Since my daughter is battling a brain tumor he is very thorough and patient. We were in and out in 45 minutes with a prescription. He is really thorough and kind. So glad I switched.

Many very good experiences here over the past 7 1/2 years. All the care providers seem very competent and helpful. In one case, a PA realized that my daughter needed to get into specialist quickly, so he set up the appointment for us so that she could be seen that afternoon. The front desk staff, check-in nurses, and the PAs and doctors have been very helpful.

My experience couldn't be better. The receptionist's are friendly and efficient. The doctor's I've seen were great. I can't tell you what a relief it is to have a doctor that understands you, and wants to help. I've been seeing doctors regularly for almost 10 years, but most of them just went through the motions. I've made this clinic my primary. It's a keeper! :)

Excellent experience today! My son broke his arm and I took him to Urgent Care at the Elk River office. Everyone was pleasant, efficient and professional. It couldn't have gone smoother and I couldn't be more satisfied.

Doctor Brooks seemed to care when talking to him which is way different from what I'm used to. Commented on more than just the one issue I was mainly in for and at the end asked if there was anything else I wanted to discuss rather than just pushing me along and out the door. Great service.

Went with 2 young boys. The staff was super friendly and the place was very clean! We were in and out of there in 40 minutes. We are new patients and they do take blue cross blue shield. I would definitely recommend this place. We will go back!

Always in a good mood when we are there. We use them when we can't get in to our primary at Fairview. I feel like urgent care has become our primary as we can never get appointments at Fairview.

Drove from Maple Grove because their wait time was shorter than at the Maple Grove location on Saturday. My toddler was inconsolable and puking. Very courteous and attentive staff. Had a great experience and will likely go there anytime we need to head to urgent care.

I have needed these urgent care services three times recently and every time the service is excellent and the wait is very short. I’ve been in during the day.

From front desk staff, assistants, nurses and doctors all the staff is always so friendly, caring and willing to help.

I highly recommend it! I walked in got right and saw the nurses aide and the nurse practitioner they were both fabulous great personalities and treated me very well and I was out quickly. I wish every business had that kind of customer service

This is the place for urgent care when you need it! Excellent experience from receptionist to medical assistant and the great doctor.
I highly recommend them and will definitely use them in the future for all of my care!

Best experience yet at a doctors. Made an appointment. Was in and out within 30 minutes. I will be back and I highly recommend. I had Dr. Hammer - great guy. Thanks North Memorial Elk River!
