I had to travel for work on short notice and wasn’t sure what to do about my 10 week old mini golden doodle, Prince. I had received Tiffany’s card from her husband at Fetched-Up. He had spent an hour answering my questions about my puppy’s needs as Prince was my first puppy ever, so I knew they cared deeply about dogs. I did some internet research on various kennels and spoke to Tiffany on the phone. Her 2 week Puppy Head Start program was absolutely perfect for me and Prince. He stayed overnight with her and socialized with her daughters, two well trained dogs, and a super playful bengal cat. She also took him to work with her where met lots of other dogs and people, and got one-on-one training time with her everyday. She posted so many videos during the process that I felt like I was able to learn how to be a better owner along with staying current with his progress. The absolute cherry on top was Prince coming home loving his crate and being able to potty on command. I’m able to focus on him and be a better owner now that we have that structure in place. I’m looking forward to completing Puppy Class and moving onto Beginner Obedience. Thank you, Tiffany and AQK9!!

Tiffany has given me life changing tips and training. I can’t thank her enough! We adopted a 5 year old Scottish terrier this fall. While Piper was a sweet little thing, she ran amok in the house. She now knows ‘place’ (stays on place until released- for long periods of time). Sit/down/stand stays on demand. We are consistently working on obedience training and it’s really paying off!
Prior to obedience classes, This was a 15lb dog that needed to be sedated for 24hrs prior to, and day of, vet visits-and then still had to be held down by 2 vet techs so that an exam /ear treatment could be done by our vet. I am now able to administer her medicine completely by myself with no sedatives needed. Thanks to Tiffany and the staff at AQK9, our life is so much better. I highly recommend.

I’ve known Tiff since 2016 when I brought my 7th/8th grade daughter to training with our dog. She is well-versed in dog handling and has had tremendous personal success with her own dogs and with client dogs.

Last summer when I acquired a reactive, not-well-socialized female German Shepherd, I knew IMMEDIATELY that I needed Tiff’s help. We worked on basic beginner novice handling at Summer School and then moved into Koehler Club. While she is still slightly reactive in new situations, my dog has come SO far! In class she can be off leash with 10-15 other dogs and people and remain calm, quiet and where I put her! I can take her to Runnings, Home Depot, anywhere that dogs are welcomed. She walks on a loose leash at heel and has eyes on me. A year ago this would not have been possible. I can even take her to Petsmart and she remains calm and on a loose leash, only occasionally raising her hackles when other dogs are lunging at her.
Since working with Tiff, my dog has titled in Beginner Novice, Canine Good Citizen and Novice…all in a year. ONE YEAR!
I am thrilled with our progress, even though we sometimes fall behind in our practice and miss days because schedules get hectic. I know without Tiff, my dog would be uncontrollable and highly neurotic.
I recommend Tiff whether you’ve adopted a dog with some baggage, have a new pup and want a great start or have a dog you’ve maybe allowed to get away with some $h!t and now you want him to not be a monster. She understands different breeds, their personalities and innate traits and how to work with those to create a beautiful companion and partnership.

I have enjoyed being a part of the AQK9 group. I started with my new puppy that is bully mix. Things were going really well, but due to family concerns I needed to take a break. After 18 months of not being in training, Tiffany welcomed us back and we jumped right in. In every class, Tiffany makes it a point to have everyone work on skills that are appropriate for each dog AND the handler. She sees the pair as a relationship in progress and stresses the importance of clear, consistent messages.

I highly recommend Tiffany and Michele as dog trainers. Their expertise and dedication to their work are evident in the obedience of my dogs. They not only have a wealth of knowledge and skills, but they also show a great deal of love and care towards every dog they train. My dogs have made significant progress under their guidance, and I am grateful for the positive impact they have had on my pets.

We having been going to AQK9 for training since our boxers were 12 weeks old. Through puppy class, obedience training and Koehler We have been seeing a major difference in our pups. We had a few issue with having 2 boys from the same litter. Tiffany and her crew have helped us so much. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for training. Yes, some of the rules I looked at like are you kidding me! BUT when I started to follow the program it SAVED me and my pups. They are growing into very wonderful boxers. Yes for all of you who think we were crazy. We have had boxers in our house for over 30 years and wouldn’t change breeds.

I have been seeing Tiffany since I was in middle school. I started training with my two year old rescue lab who was a ball of anxiety about everything. He couldn’t be kenneled for 10 minutes without drooling a lake or be approached by strangers and he sure couldn’t be around other dogs calmly. I wasn’t interested in competing at the time I just saw how much better my dog was doing and I loved seeing how far we had come from the start. We continued seeing Tiffany for a few years until she moved away. I tried seeing other trainers after that and eventually stopped training because I couldn’t find one that cared and pushed me to be better like Tiffany did and I felt like I was making no progress and wasting my money. When I found out she was moving back I was SO EXCITED. I am now a junior in college and have started training with my puppy. I’m only officially on week two but he has made so much progress already from being afraid of everything and I plan on continuing training and to eventually start competing when we’re ready.

I have been training with Tiffany and AQK9 for two years and the results have far exceeded my expectations. They are extremely knowledgeable and are invested in every training team. The results are confident dog owners and well behaved canine citizens. I will never train anywhere else! P.S. And they make it fun.

I have trained with Tiffany going back 16+ years now, through different generations of our family dogs. She is always evolving and working to improve her methods and outcomes for her clients. If you put in the work, you will reap the benefits. Our family dogs--and fosters through our doors over the years--have benefited in countless ways from things I learn at training. You may question why someone would *need to train for this many years. Too many people in our current society believe training is a one-time event. It's a life-long endeavor though really; each new dog and even phases in their individual lives have brought new challenges or dynamics to work with; I've been grateful to have expertise and experience to lean into as we've grown with our dogs. Is any one trainer or facility for every dog owner?! NOPE! But if you truly desire a solid dog to enjoy life with and are willing to take the steps to get there, you will see results with AQK9.

I have been training with Tiffany on and off for almost a year now, and can not recommend her enough! I originally went to her with my adult APBT mix, JuneBug, to refine her okay-ish obedience. I had worked a bit previously with others who simply ran us through exercises with a ton of treats and no critique as to what we were doing wrong. While it did help her build confidence working out and about in different places around dogs and people, that is really all we gained from it - along with a dependence on food to work. I wanted to LEARN.
Once I got to Tiffany, she immediately had me take my prong collar off of my dog and get rid of the treats. We saw improvement in just a single session with better leash handling (AKA clearer communication to my dog). However, I then told her at the end that I also had a 4-month-old bully mutt puppy at home. She (rightfully so) asked me what I was doing here with my relatively well-mannered adult dog, and had me bring in Paco Taco instead at the next session. Realistically, he hadn't left my house much aside from going to work with me as a groomer.
We arrive at her facility, puppy in tow, and as we are standing having a conversation several feet apart, he is pulling at the end of his lead towards her, screaming his head off like the self-entitled jackass he was, all because he couldn't get to her to be pet. I realized at that moment she was right, and he should have been here months ago. Within the first few sessions, I saw DRASTIC improvement in him. His basic obedience was more solid than the average adult dog, he heeled beautifully on leash, and he got many compliments from people in public. To this day, one of the best compliments I've received was when he had to go to the emergency vet at 6 months old, and multiple veterinary staff members told me how wonderful he was during his overnight stay and care. That he listened to commands, he was easy to handle, and that I "must work with him a lot". We train our dogs not only for us, but for everyone who has to interact with them - vets, groomers, boarding facilities, trainers, friends and family, etc. Though I personally have been slacking the last several months, I have gained SO much knowledge over my time with Tiffany and plan to dive back in head-on this spring with Koehler.
As a person, I have massive respect for Tiff as she is ALWAYS continuing her education, even 20 years into this. So many trainers are stuck on one way of doing things, with their way being the only correct way, and they do the same thing for years and years. She attends seminars, is constantly reading, and working with other trainers around the world to expand her knowledge. She is blunt, to the point, and her priority is the betterment of your relationship and life with your dog through structure, rules, and boundaries. She is not the trainer for "fur mommies". She is not the trainer for those who cannot accept the fact that these issues with our dogs are due to HUMAN error. She is the trainer for those who want to do the work, make the changes necessary, have fun, and live the best life they can with their dogs. I will never stop recommending her.

Side note, her current retail space is amazing. I can not WAIT for her to expand into Fetched-Up!

The class we went through the best training course we could have sent our pup through. Sarah and Michele are excellent communicators and I got so much useful information from the class. I appreciate the time that the both of Michele and Sarah took with me after class answering questions, as well as help in emails. They helped me have confidence and gave me all the tools I need to train our Winnie! Highly recommend.

AKQ9 is a training program unlike any other. We have a beautiful 8 month old Rottie. We were looking for a program that would teach us how to responsibility own a dog that is perceived by the public to be a dangerous breed. Tiffanys program is the real deal. If you are willing to put in the time and dedication Tiffany will give you all the tools. Tools that work, not treats that bribe. The dramatic change we have seen from our dog from week 1 to week 6 is astounding.
We will continue to go back to all the classes AKQ9 offers!!

THE BEST DOG TRAINER AROUND!!
I have had the pleasure of training with Tiffany for over 10yrs and with 3 different dogs. She truly has a gift of being in tune with the dog and it's behavior. I have seen her turn dog/people aggressive dogs into a calm, confident dog that can be around other dogs and people. What I love about Tiffany is she never stops learning. She is a bucket full of knowledge and information, anywhere from nutrition to grooming and many other areas. The thing with Tiffany is she cares so much about the dog getting the right kind of training so it doesn't get frustrated or confused, she tells you how to do it. She is blunt and direct with her instructions, all in a caring way, but if you can't take constructive criticism without getting offended, then this isn't the place for you. But I can tell you from years of experience with Tiffany, she is one of the most compassionate and caring people I have ever met. You can truly tell she cares about your dog and wants to help you have a great relationship with them. I do and will always refer people to Tiffany.

When my husband and I first got rescue I made the decision that I wanted a well behaved member of the family, not just a dog that would go crazy when someone walked by the or would run off into traffic as soon as we'd open the car door. At the consult, Tiffany honest and upfront about our dog's behavior and how the things we were currently allowing because "oh that's just normal dog stuff" were actually teaching him bad behavior.
Tiffany understands dog psychology and teaches you how to really work with and understand what your dog really needs from you, the parent. She is very direct and to the point, assertive and doesn't sugar-coated anything. She tells you exactly what you need to do and does her best to help you understand, but she also leaves it up to you, the parent of your dog, to put in the training work.
Tiffany is blunt and the training methods may seem different than what many people think is normal, but her methods work 100%. I have seen SO MUCH progress with our dog because of her lessons and putting in the work at home.
I highly recommend AQK9 and wish more dog owners would adopt their practices, for the safety of anyone that meets your dog, and especially the dog's safety.

I have trained with Tiffany for about 11 years now across 4 different states as I moved with my dogs. I stayed with her during those transitions thanks to online learning platforms and BECAUSE she continuously evolves. There are some hard truths that one must know if you are going to train with Tiffany.
1. Dogs are a reflection of US, their human.
2. Dogs are opportunistic predators. Heck you could just say opportunistic. They take advantage of us daily and have us pretty well trained.
Tiffany will give you the framework and tools to improve your life with your dog for the long haul. If you would rather just be told what you think you already know and have it sugar coated, then this probably isn’t the trainer for you. If you think the TikToks of people getting in their dog’s face while it growls is super cute, putting PB on your forehead for a nail trim is smart or let young children crawl all over dogs is ok, then this probably isn’t the trainer for you.
If you are open to the truth, truly want to improve your relationship with your dog and gain solid obedience, this is the place for you. If you believe training is for the life of the dog - this is the place for you. It doesn’t mean you have to be perfect and prepare your dog for an obedience competition. But it does require an open mind to see the value and joy having a trained dog brings into your home.

Tiffany is a wonderful trainer! My dog is a 100% better version of himself after just 1 month. First Tiffany trains you, that's 80% of it in my opinion. Then you do the work with your dog. If you want your dog to be its best version, you do the work. Don't waste your's or Tiffany's time if you are not committed to the work. I now have a happy, confident Reeko, and I am confident on how to handle him in social situations. Tiffany is very demanding and 100% caring. That's the way it should be, especially for the bully breeds. She will push you to perfection, and even if you fall a little short like me, your dog will still be so much better then when you started. This was just what we needed, thank you Tiffany!

Tiffany and her team are life-savers. Literally. I’ve spent the most time with Tiffany, but have worked with all of her team at some point or another and it is life changing.

I came to her in August of 2020 with a ~7 month old Argentine Dogo/American Bull Dog/American Staffordshire Terrier mix who didn’t know how to handle his excitement around other dogs, and I didn’t know how to help him. It appeared aggressive, and while I knew it wasn’t...that doesn’t matter. I had had many teary moments worried about him and where we might end up if I couldn’t help him - I’ve trained dogs myself for years, trained many other animals for fun and for money too...and I was at a loss.

Then I drove TWO HOURS to AQK9 one day for my first consult with Tiffany. I was embarrassed and defeated going in. The first five minutes that’s all I felt, then as we’re talking to Tiffany things start to click...she tells you these things that sound so simple at obvious, but yet you’re not doing them. She is blunt, not mean - but she will tell you how it is. If you listen, it makes sense. Absorb and it changes everything - just an hour later I had a different dog and I had a different relationship with him.

Fast forward four one on one sessions with Tiffany that yes I drove two hours one way for, we tried a full day of classes that had other dogs. I was terrified! But, we did it, and it was okay - not perfect but he was a different dog.

Last week we did open ring time with a number of dogs for four hours straight and honestly - he was damn near perfect. Things could be cleaned up that we worked on but I didn’t have to correct any kind of poor behavior towards other dogs. ANY. In fact, he held a stay for FIFTEEN MINUTES. Five minutes were a sit stay and ten in a down stay - I was out of the room, not holding the leash and he was in the facility “alone” with FIVE OTHER DOGS FOR FIFTEEN MINUTES. I could have cried from excitement.

We have plenty to improve on in cleaning up our obedience, and trust me we could have easily moved faster than we have. But I cannot thank Tiffany and her team enough for changing my life, and honestly probably saving my boy’s life. We know what happens to dogs like him who make one wrong move. Over the Christmas and New Years holiday my dogs were repeatedly complemented for their behavior and how well they follow direction.

If you want to be the best owner for your dog, the best representation of dog owners, have the best companion relationship with your dog...regardless of what point you are starting at, going to AQK9 is worth it. I drive two hours there and back on a frequent basis and every second and every penny is worth it. I just can’t say enough good things about this place.

Met the owner and had a great chat.
He took the time to answer my questions about different types of treats and helpme pick out treats to meet each of our dogs specific needs/habits.
Huge variety of treats, found things I hadn't heard of before. I felt the prices were very competitive with the big box pet stores and will definitely be back.

I came in with a 65lb dog that was being a bully towards others and not listening. In 7 weeks we both have learned so much on how to listen to each other. Tiffany tells you what you need to hear. She is kind, caring and intelligent. She is what Winston and I need. Without Tiffany, I don’t know where Winston and I would be...
