Dakota Junction

I had never been here before and was unsure when we pulled up but we gave it a try. We had the Dakota Burger and fries and it was great, the fries were done well. The burger was definitely quality ingredients. We had the seasonal IPA on tap and that too was a really good choice. I highly recommend this place. I would make one small recommendation and change. Guys swap out the lights in the dinning room with bulbs with a warm temperature and warmer glow. It looks cold and cafeteria like with too bright of lights.

Years ago we were on a bike ride with our friends the Hurley's when we stumbled open this cute restaurant right on the bike trail. I could never find it on any map since I was just following Mike.
Last night the fine Mrs Barrett wanted to to a place called Dakota Junction for its 10 year anniversary. She loves a deal.
And low and behold it was that bike trail place!
Totally fun with stupendous food and lots of GF options, it was so great to find it again.
The owner Stephanie is a gem and the chef is very talented. Can't wait to go back.

I always pass by this location and decided to give them a try. It was a nice environment. The options were on the board to choose from. I had great service from staff even those who were not assigned to my table. I order the chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries. Order arrived quickly, and it was perfect portions and fulfilling.

We had a fantastic lunch. Our server Selmanesh was excellent. We love that they use ingredients from local farms! Onion smash burger was 👍👍The outdoor seating, right on the bike path was comfortable and clean. Restroom too. Highly recommend!

One of our favorite places in the area! My go to is the onion smash burger, but I always check their instagram to see the specials for the day. The fries are some of the best I’ve had. Food is always fresh and service is 10/10. Price is a little on the high side (still reasonable) but you get what you pay for!

As far as I'm concerned, this place is a complete gem. They care about the food that is served to you. We were visiting from out of state and went back the next day for lunch because it was so good. The ingredients used are a bit nicer than what most restaurants serve. Also comes with a nice view of the bicycle trail.

Dakota Junction is the best! Local farm to table at its best! The menu offerings are unique and always delicious! The staff and service can’t be beat! Definitely our go to spot when in the area! Yum😋

Omg! I got a basic cheeseburger and have NEVER IN MY LIFE had something so delicious. I wanted to smack my mama for every mediocre cheeseburger she’s ever fed me. This place changed my life!! My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Fries are crispy too. Chefs kiss 😘

Check out their daily menu on line, call to place your order. Park outside the restaurant and they will deliver your food right to your car. Service is fast and food is Hot!
I ordered the Patty melt with sweet potato fries.
My sandwich was loaded with hamburger, onions and cheese on toasted bread.... so delicious 😋

I love this place, it’s hidden in plain view. They source as much of their food locally as they can, everything is so fresh… And tastes amazing. I do the huevos rancheros almost every Sunday.

Excellent food! I was craving a burger and their BiG Dakota Burger was amazing. Same with the fries.

Delicious farm-to-table food! Chef's special is always a hit; get there early because they can run out. Menu changes daily with fresh inspiration.

Stopped by while on a bike trip on the Dakota Trail. Got the salmon panini and sweet potato fries. Service was quick and the food was delicious!

Amazing food, great price. Small indoor seating so not ideal for large groups.

Amazing and taste fresh food sourced locally. Try the buffalo chicken salad, you won't be disappointed.

The Korean tacos are amazing. Hope they keep them on the menu.

One of the best hidden gems around lake Minnetonka that you must check out if you are in the area. Consistently amazing and fresh/locally sourced ingredients, frequently updated menu items, and very fair priced menu items-- especially considering the quality you're getting! If you're in the Mound area I would definitely suggest checking it out; your taste buds will thank you, that I can guarantee!

We found this place on accident, and we're so happy we did! Our trio shared the salmon sandwich, cuban, and kid's cheeseburger. We had a hard time choosing as the menu was really creative and enticing. It appears to be geared toward those that use the bike trails (we couldn't tell they were open from the street side), and what a treat that place would be coming off an afternoon ride.
Our server was patient while we toggled over where to sit, and she was super sweet. Can't wait to come back!
