The atmosphere is amazing and the food looks delicious. The owner of the place, Sarah, has been here for over 30 years and built a reputation with the community. It is one of the best places to get food in this little town. The restaurant keeps up high standards. The pictures do not do the food justice, I will definitely be coming back here. Everything is freshly made and delicious. Even the hot and sour soup is amazing, a lot of places add red dye for some reason. Here, u only get natural ingredients.

Great food! Wish the sesame chicken was on the lunch special since it seemed like the same sized portion. Broccoli was fresh and everything was very good! Styrofoam isn’t my favorite for dine in, but very convenient for take out! Will be back again to try something new!

The Pina Colada Shrimp with fried rice is fantastic! The egg drop soup was a but thick, but nice & hot & tasty. The lemonade was underwhelming, barely any flavor. Prepare to wait, restaurant was very busy at lunch time, we waited 45 minutes for our food & other tables got their food before we did that came in after we did. My fortune cookie was empty. I figured that may be a bad omen, but it actually means you create your own fortune in the path you make happen, starting today!

Always a delight. Excellent food, especially the Thai food. At our last stay we ordered the Thai basil chicken, beef drunken noodles, and beef coconut curry, and it was all exceptionally good. Highly recommend!

My #1 for the BEST in Oriental food by FAR is HUNAN LION Restaurant!!! The atmosphere is quiet with calming music in the background, their hot tea is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL, ESPECIALLY their JASMINE tea before your meal of THE BEST Oriental food I've EVER had...their Beef Pad Tai (sp?) is OUTSTANDING & I swear I could eat that 7days a wk & NOT get tired of it!!! OH!!!...& their CRABMEAT RANGOON, JUST KEEP'EM COMIN' & I'd be happy as a clam!!! Moderately priced & SO WELL WORTH IT!!! My Sister's & My's FAVORITE eating establishment in Marshall, Minnesota...go with time to ENJOY both the FOOD & ATMOSPHERE!!! They also do take-out so there's no reason to not give them a try!!!☯

I especially like the crab Rangoon, egg rolls, egg drop soup, chicken chow mein, general chicken & hunan chicken. Seriously you can't go wrong with any item on the menu.

My family and I were so impressed by the delicious food, friendly, attentive staff and overall cleanliness and atmosphere of this restaurant. As a group of 8, including children, with one kiddo in a high chair, we felt like we had plenty of space to move around without being cramped together with other tables. The kids loved the bubble tea drinks, and the family style dishes and amazing appetizers were loved by kids and adults alike. We called ahead to make sure they had a gluten free option for my young grandson who needed that option and they did have a pad Thai dish which he enjoyed so much that he didn’t want to stop eating it! We thoroughly enjoyed every part of our dinner experience and look forward to another visit soon!

Amazing place! I have been here a couple of times and the food is always amazing, the staff are incredibly kind, and the boba is delicious. During my recent visit, there was only one worker taking care of the entire restaurant due to a shortage. She was cooking, taking orders, sending out food, and making drinks. She was a total badass. So, I commend her and the restaurant!

I love Hunan Lion. They have such delicious food, good service, and a clean, friendly environment. I'm gluten free and I really wanted some crab rangoon and they were able to use some sort of rice wrapper instead of the usual wonton wrappers.
Would 10/10 recommend! Love coming here!!

Delicious bubble tea. Lots of different flavors. I didn't remember to take a picture of the main dish I ordered, but it was pa sey ew or however it's spelled. Anyway, they are rice noodles, which means it counts as a gluten free dish.

This is our favorite restaurant in Marshall! The food is always delicious, the owner and staff are welcoming and the atmosphere is clean, light and airy. Perfect spot for dinner or lunch, we love visiting this spot.

Amazing food. Great service, super friendly staff. They remember me each visit and ask how things are and know just what I want. The food is always fresh and delicious. Great atmosphere, perfect for events as well as just family/friends outings.
