Spotlite Cafe & Ice Cream Shop

The service was exceptional and the food was well priced and delicious! It was very fast service and was an extremely pleasant experience overall. They were very accommodating with requests, and I would highly recommend the pork tenderloin sandwich! Our server was extremely helpful. Five Stars!!

Wow wow wow
A little comfort, a little excitement, a little old, a little new. Great ac, diligent waitresses, yummy food, connected to an ice cream shop with a mini arcade in a scenic little town. Clean atmospheric bathrooms and adorable merchandise were a bonus.

I've driven thru Garrison hundreds of times, but never stopped to eat here or even knew this gem was here! The place was empty when we arrived. The waitress was friendly, knowledgeable, and came to check on us at appropriate intervals. We both had the bacon cheeseburgers and fries. Try the place out!

FYI: - the pop, you get 1 refill, for a medium size glass ($2.50), I thought that was kind of high, but the burgers were great, and I don't mind supporting a small business.
- Burgers/fries were $9.95 each.

-They don't take American Express.
-They have a few stairs AND a ramp, to their restaurant.
-they have ice cream, but we didn't have any.

Excellent breakfast! Reasonable prices with quality food selections. Coffee and tea are hot, service is prompt and inviting!!

Let me get to the point: this place is good. It’s world class in my book. From the coffee (which they refilled as often as I needed) to the chicken fried steak that was on special (perfect, no notes) there is nothing about Spotlite that isn’t ideal in my experience. The eggs were delicious and cooked exactly how we ordered them. The food came fast too, not much slower than McDonalds might have been but 10x better and for a similar price. So, if you’re in the area and hungry for a classic American meal, go here.

The food was absolutely amazing! We will definitely be back. Only thing that was not so great was their bathrooms. Kinda gross. The woman's had no light just the window daylight shining through and the men's wasn't very clean & had bugs in there. Other than that it was awesome.

A nice cafe along the lake! They have some daily specials. Nice staff and good food. Typical dinner atmosphere and food. Go check them out!

What an awesome place that is!!! Food is done faster than at any fast food chain, but oh my it is so much tastier and healthier!!! Servers are really nice and attentive. Thank you Svoboda's for such an awesome experience!!!

Ate breakfast here with my 8 and 11 year old girls. The food was delicious and the young waitress was excellent.

Absolutely delicious. We had a pork tenderloin with mashed potatoes and gravy and coleslaw, and a hot beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy and coleslaw. The mashed potatoes were homemade!

Excellent food & service despite being super busy!

Excellent service and food. Great stop in the Mille Lacs Lake area. Seating looks out at the lake. Omelets were amazing!

Nice snowmobile ride out on a Sunday for the first visit. Awesome omelettes and hash browns. Food was cooked very quick and very fresh. My only regret is I didn't get there early enough the country fried steak before they ran out. I will definitely be going back.

UPDATE.. BEEN THERE MANY TIMES SINCE THE FIRST TIME. MY SON AND I HAVE BEEN GETTING PANCAKES THERE RECENTLY AND THEY ARE THE BEST WE HAVE HAD. GREAT JOB ALL AROUND!

Wasn't crowed, immediate seating. Food was good, waitress friendly, good view of lake across the street.

Great breakfast. Good variety of food and good prices. Busy place but the service was excellent.
