PORTERHOUSE Steak & Seafood Restaurant

First time at Porterhouse and it was fantastic! We were celebrating a birthday so we went all out with appetizers, cocktails etc and it was expensive but absolutely worth it. The bacon wrapped scallops were AMAZING. The French onion soup was INCREDIBLE. We loved our cocktails and were surprised with a complimentary birthday dessert. Alexandra was a fantastic server and we had plenty of time to just enjoy our dinner date.

We celebrated my husband's birthday at The Porterhouse Steak House and it was fabulous. The food was extraordinary and the service was definitely 5 stars. If you have a chance to try their beef wellington, please do. You won't be disappointed! Make sure to have one of their excellent martinis with your meal!

Porterhouse was amazing, from start to finish. Alexandra, our server, was super attentive, and amazing. We had a great night out, enjoying ALL. THE. THINGS! Delicious appetizer, steak, fish, soup, salad, dessert. Can't wait for next time!

Could use an update on their decor. This restaurant is super fancy and very expensive. But you get what you pay for. Your meals come with a salad and a side of potatoes. Loaded potatoes are fantastic and are definitely loaded with bacon,cheeee, and green onion. Steaks are fantastic as always and delicious. Chocolate cake was decadent and delicious. Get a reservation even at 4 just to make sure. I've been here 3 times now, and there was a line waiting to get in at 4. Our waitress was very good haven't had bad service here.

Second time coming to this restaurant. Had another excellent experience. Joseph was our waiter and was wonderful. Steak and seafood are delicious. You really can't miss with anything on this menu. Simply excellent!

My date and I went on a Monday night. It's a good choice because the place was half full. The atmosphere was really nice, the food was great, and our waitress was spectacular! I would highly recommend a visit.

My fiancé and I went for date night. We have been before, but I swear it gets better every time I go! I ordered the Dirty Minnesota martini, and it was made to perfection. We had the Burrata Bruschetta as an appetizer. It was so fresh and tasty. I highly recommend it. For entrees, we had the Crab stuffed salmon and the 30 day dry aged ribeye. Both we super flavorful and cooked perfectly. Our server was a pleasure and very attentive. If you haven't been, check them out. I recommend advance reservations as Fridays and Saturdays they are usually booked out a bit.

Reservations a must, clean and well maintained restaurant with a staff that was over the top with detail, Kaitlyn was our server and was top notch. The food to good to leave a bite. The steak was as light as a cloud with the true flavor, cut and seasoning spot on. Definitely on my favorite places to visit.

We went on a Saturday night. We had reservations at 6pm and we're seated promptly. Our waitress was incredible. Very friendly, kind, and on top of everything. We started with the crab cakes appetizer. They were delicious and quite large. My husband had the Manhattan and loved it. For our main course he had the massive 28 of porterhouse cooked medium rare; exactly how we want medium rare. The meat was so tender it was like butter. I had the king crab, which was delicious and a large portion. For sides we had the green beans and scalloped potatoes; both excellent. To finish off an incredible dinner we shared the mile high carrot cake which was so moist and full of flavor. It could easily be shared with 4 people. Overall we spent 2 hours there. The place was clean and full. It was loud but not too loud where you can hear each other have a conversation. We spent $225 in total with 3 signature drinks, an appetizer, two entrees, and a large dessert. Tip included. The service was top notch and the food exceeded all expectations. For a fine dining steakhouse experience I highly recommend. Especially over Pittsburgh Blues.

I had not been here before. Now I know what I was missing. Our waitress was very kind and made sure everything was just right throughout our dinner. My wife had fish and loved it. I had a steak that was excellent. The chef even came out to be sure I was happy with it. We had the French onion soup and I’m pretty sure this is the best french onion soup I have ever had. The lemon drop martini was very good. We were with another couple and shared the stupendous carrot cake. Awesome experience.

We went there for a Sunday dinner the place was packed so make sure to get a reservation beforehand.The service was great.They do have bae and lot of cocktails and mock tails to choose from.Wine collection is also good. They have lot of options to choose from.I liked their scallops and steak.Starters I went with crab cakes which was good as well.The in-house bread and butter was definitely delicious.Loved the french onion soup.For the dessert we had cream brûlée which was delicious they have tray to display the desserts and you can choose from it.The interior is well maintained as well.Good place to celebrate any occasion.

Always a great meal at the Porterhouse. The quality is top notch, drinks are flavorful and the staff consistently delivers an exceptional experience (Pam killed it the last time I was there). The only downside is that the place is relatively small and they pack you in, so it can get quite noisy. You can definitely look past that though for all the other reasons I just mentioned.

Absolutely awesome feel/vibe. My wife and I were on our first date in a while (little ones), and they made us feel comfortable. And in no rush.
The food was absolutely fantastic!!! Some of the best steaks I have had in years. The drinks were also very good. If I had an Uber, I definitely would have kept those going!
I can say you get what you pay for, and it was worth it.

We chose the pan-seared walleye for our appetizer. I typically don't like fish outside of sushi, but this was fantastic & we both recommend it. For our entrées we ordered steak (of course) & both were beautifully cooked, tender, & delicious. Our sides were also noteworthy. The spinach salad was complemented perfectly by an incredible warm, bacon dressing. We asked & were informed that the dressing can be purchased by the pint for under $7 (on that particular day; obviously, that could change). Because we were celebrating our anniversary, we could choose 1 of 3 complimentary desserts: a chocolate torte, crème brulée, or vanilla cake with a chocolate drizzle. We went for the lighter vanilla cake. It was huge & over half of it ended up in our fridge, lol. We also took home a slice of their carrot cake. Honestly, they had us at "No raisins" as far as that goes. Bottom line is that we'd have been content just having a good, well cut, properly cooked steak. It turned out that everything we ordered, along with our service, was superb.

I loved the food here! The steak was seared on both sides, salted and came out super juicy. Our waitress let us know steaks cooked past medium would be butterflied open. Usually I get medium-well but I got medium so I could experience eating the big hunk of 12oz filet mignon. The mashed potatoes are creamy yet chunky, mixed with bacon, and scallions. After the meal was served, they crushed black pepper on top. It was my birthday and I got a complimentary creme brûlée. It was delicious! Loved the atmosphere, romantic lighting, and a candle lit at the table.

Great place for a special celebration dinner. We celebrated 60th birthday. Super glad we chose this place.

This was an Absolutely Wonderful Meal... I had the Shrimp Appetizer, then the French Onion Soup, followed by a Black & Blue Ribeye Steak cooked to perfection... Ended things with a fine slice of Chocolate Raspberry Cake Truffle Cake that paired well with the Arsonist wine 🍷 I was drinking... All served up by the Amazing Sarah, I will Definitely be back soon to try the Filet.

Pretty great. They have wet aged streaks 27days min. Quite good. Also with bacon wrapped scallops and shrimp skewers.

The service is top-notch as you would expect. The food is incredible. We had the French onion soup which was to die for along with crabcakes and the black and blue ribeye. All was delicious and wonderful. Since it was our anniversary they gave us free dessert which was super kind. Overall a great experience. My only suggestion to the restaurant is to update their decor. Obviously it doesn’t remove from the experience but it looks a little dated in there.
