Great local grocer w/ great meat/deli, prepared foods counters'

This facility has a wonderful history of having a large selection of delectable European foods . Concessi's
is as if you are walking into a
fairy land. Not only are the
sections amazing, the decor
is unforgettable.

Best produce and meat in the downriver area. Looking at reviews I see many people discuss price and no they aren’t the cheapest but you get what you pay for. I still use the chain stores for shampoos etc but for a actual GROCERY store Concessis is awesome. Posted a picture of the loin I just picked up and it’s phenomenal.

Great little market! Good selection of interesting and traditional items. Also great variety of Boar's Head products!

I think I used to live across the street from lady Concessi, and her son dressed up as Sgt Pepper for Halloween, so that was cool (He was Ringo by the way, for anybody wondering/dying to know)

Wonderful local market. Meat and deli counter some of the best prices you'll find anywhere around. Good wine and beer selection as well. Overall friendly staff.

Great place to shop for fresh foods. Very friendly service and a wide variety of ethnic foods from around Europe. Food is always fresh and well stocked. Overall would recommend.

We love this little family owned grocery store. They have a bit of everything, too. The prepared food counter is awesome. The meat counter has great selections, the olive bar is delicious! The produce is fresh! Wine? Plenty of options. AND the staff in each area of the store are very friendly and helpful. We have always had a great experience here. You can get in and out, and you're not walking a mile to your car! No long lines... everything you need AND from a place that truly appreciates your business; inferred by the friendly customer service, clean store and fresh products! 15 year customer, first time reviewer!

Friendly, helpful staff. Good fruit and veg selection. Deli and salad/dessert counters. Have lots of giftable food options. Nice selection of boar's head and gormet meats, cheeses, olives, crackers, wine, beer, etc.

Couldn't find short ribs at either of the big name grocery stores down the street and I was so happy to find them here! They were even a better price per pound so that was a plus as well! I was also able to find veal cutlets, I would have preferred fresh over frozen but I haven't been able to find them anywhere else so I'll take it! My first time and I will definitely be back for any out of the box meat needs in my future cooking endeavors.

I really like this store. It's the only place in this area I can regularly find Buffalo flavor Great Lakes potato chips. It's also the only store nearby with crumpets. The butcher and deli sections are great. This store is our of my way, but worth going out of my way to.

I started stopping for herbs and spices when they were a fruit market on Fort and Sibley. After the fire that burned that place down they reopened in their current location many moons ago. I have never, not even once in all that time not been satisfied with what I found there, from local needs to exotic spices for oriental foods. Sure it cost a small amount more, but in this case you get what you pay for.

A little pricey, but great quality. Also, you can find some really hard to get specialty foods and some local products you can’t find everywhere.

Concessi's European Market is the best place in the Downriver area to buy Kefalotyre Cheese to make Saganaki, plus they always have fresh Greek Flatbread and lemons. I also use a delicious brand of red enchilada sauce that they sell, which has perfected my enchilada recipe!
They are my go-to place for many of the authentic ethnic products I buy.

Wonderful selection and prices. Grace in the prepared foods dept is very helpful and friendly. Around Christmas they sell many imported cookies and candy that are very hard, if not impossible, to find at other stores in Michigan. Excellent pistachio fluff and fried eggplant.

Amazing place!! The food is always fresh and fantastic! Also the service/customer service is outstanding! Everyone is always very polite and extremely helpful! Grace was absolutely amazing when I told her about my food allergies. She took her time with me to make sure that we were picking foods that I can actually eat while explaining to me what is in everything as well as how they prepare certain items! That's just incredible customer service! Wish I could do more than 5 stars! 🙂 love this place! 😀 Highly recommended for all your fresh vegetables, fruit, fresh cut meats, seafood. Also more rare cheeses and certain sausages and meats that you can not find anywhere else around. To my knowledge. Ok, I need to stop. I could go on and on. With many years of restaurant and cooking experience/careers I've learned so much and still im impressed and seeing something new and delicious every time I walk in there. 😋

I drive past 2 other grocery stores to come here. Great selection of food. Concessi's has most of your standard food and then goes beyond with some unique items you don't find in chain stores. They have everything you need to cook a dinner and also some cooked food that is great when you just want to heat something up.

My first trip to Concessis. Very nice store. I finally found the crumpets that I was looking for the longest time . no one else carries them anymore. Very clean store with lots of specialty food to choose from. I even bought some spinach pie too. Yummy! I highly recommend that you go to this store & see for yourself.
