As a customer you could not find a more comfortable and caring experience when being fitted with a new pair of glasses or just a simple adjustment. If you want to pay twice the price for the same service and glasses, go somewhere else. But I have found a place I will be happy to recommend to my friends for a wonderful experience.

Steve has the best glasses at the best prices!! He tells you if they look terrible. He helped me out with my students broken glasses multiple times. I have Tiffany, Prada, etc. I purchased from Steve. I love all the glasses I got from Steve. Make an appointment to get glasses.

Steve is the best! If you need any glasses. He just does not carry the Cartier designer. He has all the others. If he doesnt have it he can get it! Shop around and get the price. Should be a historical landmark is Melvindale! Stephen has a great personality and easy to work with. Prices are great. great local business. And don't forget your handful of nuts leaving the door..or whatever bag is open.

It's my second time purchasing eye glasses for my daughter at this location. She had just turned 3 the first time. We both love this place! It is not a stream-lined looking place like a chain store. It is a privately owned, two employee operated business with a HUGE selection of frames in a tiny location. He has Kate Spade, Ralph Lauren, Burberry, etc brands including brands of very unique frames. Prices are right! We initially went to a large chain and the glasses for my toddler were quoted at $400. The SAME glasses at Lukas were around $120.. that's the cost of the frames plus the lighter, thinner lenses with scratch resistance. We pay out of pocket. I have never worn glasses and my girl has some think lenses. He was so helpful in which glasses to choose from and which ones would be more comfy for her to wear, etc. He is also great at making sure they are adjusted to fit well too. If something changes, just being them back! Both my toddlers warmed right up to him and were laughing and happy when we left (and so was I). He reminds me of family of mine, loves to joke and is just nice to chat with. Plus, her glasses came in QUICKLY. Love this place!

Great service and great prices. He is very knowledgeable about what frames will work well with your face and prescription. I usually let him pick my frames for me, he has never steered me wrong!

Steve has been number one for 35 years for all eyeglasses needs. Friendly, honest, and fair, he will also honestly tell you what frames look good on you and which ones make you look like Frankenstein! That's hard to find nowadays at these cookie cutter big box glasses stores! Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed in dealing local!
