Omelette and Waffle Cafe

Best waffles I've ever had. The stuffed banana and berry waffles are to die for. Their polish omelette was very good.

Enjoyed a great breakfast here with my mother. The menu options are plentiful and tempting to my taste buds. I ordered the Green Omlete and really loved that they offered all vegetable options in their menu. I took advantage of the all egg white option (+$). The cook made a great fluffy omlete. Will definitely go back to try the other menu items. This small business is a must try and note that the parking lot is small.

Friendly hometown feel. Classic diner ambiance with fresh modern fare. It was a great roadtrip stop for brunch. Delicious dishes from classic options to creative combinations, healthy choices too. Excellent gluten free options. Wish it was closer to home because we'd definitely go back.
We enjoyed fresh squeezed orange juice, the Greek Omelet and a gluten free Belgium Waffle with strawberries Nutella and pecans. Attentive service, never had to ask for hot coffee top-off. If you haven't been there, go! What a hidden gem.

Just stopped in as a new person and someone who is new to gluten free. Amazing food and vibes and great gluten free pancakes! (Strawberries and blueberries) me and my partner had Jules - she was great 10/10.

My partner and I love going here on the weekends for breakfast! The food is incredible and for the most part the waitresses there are all incredible. They're very quick to get your drinks and orders placed, check in very consistently, and overall are very positive. Incredibly attentive staff.

I had such a great experience every time I've been there! The service is top notch and pros. The food is on point! Very well cooked eggs. I will keep going back when I'm in the area. Love this place!

Eat here if you can. This place has prices similar or lower than Coney Island, but uses all fresh ingredients and provides great customer service. In the hour I ate here, I saw the small business owner exterminate a bug bothering customers, refilling coffee, and having in-depth conversations with customers and adjusting table sizes for larger groups. I’d recommend the crepes, which are basically a party in your mouth. I’ll be back soon.

I never usually write reviews but I was in omelette and waffle cafe this past Thursday and loved it so I had to leave a review. My server was Tiffany she was amazing especially since she was the only person working in the front! She was on top of everything, funny and a joy to be around! Not many people care the way I felt like she did! The food was good and came up fast! I’m so glad I gave this place a try I definitely will be back! So go check it out and make sure Tiffany is the one who waits on you!!!!

First time in Detroit and definitely consider myself to be a foodie, needless to say the breakfast I had definitely far exceeded my expectations being that the restaurant was small and quaint. My stuffed waffle tasted like it was prepared by a Michelin 5 star chef. Fluffy l with the perfect amount of fruit infused cream cheese. The portion size was perfect and the veggie omelet that accompanied my stuffed waffle was the embodiment of fluffiness. Overall best meal hands down that I’ve had since I’ve been to Detroit.

It was the best omelette I have ever paid for! We were in the area for an appointment and stopped by for breakfast and we were completely blown away. The view of the park across the street is also stunning. My only disappointment is that I live an hour away! We will make a reason to come back, the food was really that good!

¡Delicioso! Great food and excellent service. Tried the Avocado Toast and asked for another because it was so wonderfully made: Sour Dough bread toasted to perfection with avocado spread, eggs (I asked for scrambled), feta cheese and chives. So good! Yum!!! Also asked for the Strawberry chocolate crepe and a slice of apple pie to go! Staff will check in with customers to make sure everything is good and give drink refills.

This is hands down the best restaurant I've been to in quite some time. The food was reasonably priced, DELICIOUS, the service was impeccable and the owner was just awesome. He introduced himself, made sure everyone was doing well and even had special treats for the kiddos. I didn't have any kids with me but the smiles on their faces made my day. This restaurant is truly a gem. The portions are hearty, it's a warm, friendly atmosphere and just an overall great restaurant. I can't wait to go again! 5 stars!

I wish I would have taken a picture. Breakfast was wonderful the veggie omelette was perfect and wonderful brown crispy hash browns without me even asking!! And super terrific pancakes with mixed fruit and the fruit was through every level of pancakes, not just sprinkled on top. Coffee was actually really good too. Hometown breakfast & lunch diner offers great service and yummy breakfast selections!

We had a family breakfast with members of three generations, including one child and a toddler. Everyone praised the waffle with the aroma of cinnamon. The hash browns were special, too. The friendly waitress took great care of us, including the children. Thank you

Each month, I coordinate a lunch for 20 friends. This was our first visit to Omelette and Waffle Cafe, and it will not be our last! Each time I called, Julia was super helpful and friendly. We got to meet the whole team including the owner and they were delightful! Thank you for a great experience!

No doubt best breakfast around. All Boarshead meats and amazing service.
