We Drive from Durand Mi to Swartz Creek MI Just to get This Chinese Food. It's About 20 - 25 miles away. They Don't put A Lot of Filler Junk to make it bigger. Real Meat. The Peapods are Crisp and The Egg drop Soup is Delicious.. We Share a Dinner and still have enough for 1 more Dinner. I Make My own Hot Mustard because I like it Hotter. Highly Recommend.

Great little small-town take-out Chinese restaurant. They're fast, reasonably priced, and the food is always freshly cooked. It's our local go-to for Chinese food cravings.

ABSOLUTELY a treasure in the small, sleepy town of Durand Michigan. We haven't ordered from this restaurant in over 4 years until recently and were delightfully surprised. Excellent food, even better prices, friendly staff/family and very fast service. I would definitely recommend their combo platters!! Enough for 2 dinners with egg roll included and, if what you like isn't listed under their platter options, just ask. I found that nearly all menu options are available as combo platters. The egg rolls and crab rangion taste home made. The vegetables are crisp and plentiful as well as plenty of meat and fried rice. GREAT JOB everyone at the Durand, MI China House. It's become our "Go To" for take out. Some "spicy" options aren't as spicy as I'm accustomed to but that's remedied with the plentiful hot sauce or hot mustard which is actually still complimentary, unlike many places recently.

Service used to be down in the dumps but whatever they've been doing for the past few years is amazing! Great quality food, super super fast, and they give you a really good amount too. Isn't the cheapest if you buy the larger items but they have tons of combos you can get for $5-7. Dinners are great to split with family and we always have enough for a second meal!

This place is good most of the time, but there have been some serious failures in the past. This time, however, everything was top-notch! Egg rolls, need chow mein, beef chop suey, hot sour soup! Really really good!!

Excellent food! Very happy they are open again (I was nervous that the pandemic would make them shut down completely). Beef lo mein is out of this world!

I got the dinner for 2 and I was only one person, so if you get the dinner for 2 have at least 2 people with you because it was more food than I could easily eat. So lots of food for a small price.

This restraunt is FANTASTIC! I have been to many different Chinese restaurants and none of them have compared to this one. We visit it every time we come back home to see the in-laws.

Always get take out... Hubby loves their sweet and sour chicken. Fast service and good food!!

I'm a fan. Thay have a good selection of non fried food. Try the chicken or beef with mushrooms. Cooked to order fresh!
