VG's Grocery

This grocery store is great! We drive 30 miles each way to shop there simply because of price and quality. So their selection may not be as good as Walmart but their brand "our family" is better. We have yet to find a single our family brand item we are not happy with. Just this week our total went from $220 to $130 once the card was scanned. Keep it up vgs

Nice small town grocery store. Well stocked with good selection of products. Wednesday is great as seniors get 5% off.

The people are courteous, helpful, and the bagger was nice and took my groceries to my truck and put them in for me. I deeply appreciate that with my right arm tendonitis. You don't see that kind of service anywhere anymore! 5 stars!

Love this Grocery. The Deli is fantastic. Great fresh baked Breads. The choices of pasta salads, potatoe salad, fried rice, crab cakes, Boar Heads Meats... Best in town!

Nice small town grocery with good bakery. Disappointed I couldn't get McIntosh apples. But did get a great deal on seedless watermelon!

Updated review: it may have been the rainy weather, but it was nice shping today. Not very busy and still had plenty of specials!

VG's grocery store is extra-clean and spotless and shiny place without dirty things off forever. I am in very extra-biggest hardest working jobs for helping alots of people outside/inside of Save-A-Lot store in Caro in the summertime, fall and winter, Next spring for extra-special holidays coming up on Thursdays.

Extra-special birthday work at Save-A-Lot store in Caro on Thursday, November 17th and my birthday will be turning 36 years old on November 18th, Friday.

This place is a pleasure to shop in. Beautiful fruits and vegetables. On site bakery and deli with a large selection of prepared salads, entrees, and deserts. The store is well stocked and is a one stop shop with a US Postal Box outside (not many around anymore) and a pharmacy inside.

It cannot compete price wise with the Wal-mart just down the street. Simple as that. But, I parked safely near the entrance. Found friendly help when needed. Bought quickly what I came for and found a wonderful young cashier who sincerely asked if I had found everything I came for. Walked a few steps to my car. I'll pay extra for all of that. Anytime.

Super clean and quiet store with friendly staff. Easily read prices and sale items.

This is a must for doughnuts. The selection is great for a town of this size. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Shelves were well stocked even on the holiday weekend. Prices seemed competitive. The pharmacy was very helpful for getting some medicine that we forgot to get before leaving for vacation. Was a very clean store and well laid out. If I lived in this area it would be my goto store. The mini shopping carts were very useful. Even had fresh popcorn and coffee. Best part of the store is the bakery.

I visited this grocery store on a visit to my hometown. VG's has been in Caro for more than 20 years. It's a slightly fancier store than Walmart. Meaning it's more like a Publix (if you are from the south). A bit more expensive than Walmart but also more pleasant to shop. Lines are always short. All the good stuff is always in stock. Staff is helpful and friendly. On the day I visited the store and parking lot were impeccably clean. Overall it was a nice store for a quick stop or full grocery shopping trip.

They've a great mix of premium products as well as many inexpensive items. Great selection of breads, crackers, and chips. Love the fresh produce. Lots of beer selections too!

VG's is great. They always have good sales on items you want, and a very nice deli and baked goods.

Employee wise they have very friendly and helpful service. Store is always clean and stocked nicely. Wonderful selection of products you can't find at places like walmart or dollar General.
