New China Inn

This place is hands down the BEST in the area. We ordered the sesame chicken, Almond chicken and vegi lomein. The sesame chicken pieces were all white meat with good breading, no weird mystery pieces or hard, fatty pieces (if you know, you know). The Almond chicken was very big portion (they all were) the gravy was fantastic. Lomein was excellent, good amount of veggies, cooked to perfection. You really get your money's worth, no cutting corners and checkout was very friendly. I'm disappointed it look us so long to go here, we usually go to others in the area but this will be our go-to from now on. It was very busy, at least 6 people came to pick up while we were waiting for ours, so you know the food is fresh. Our food was still too hot to eat once we got home and plated everything up, very good experience 10/10.

Finally!! I found great Chinese food down river!! This was delicious. The egg roll was crispy, chicken was fresh, rice was perfect, nothing more needed, i will be back soon.

I drove from Brownstown toSouthgate to get my food. I’ve seen good reviews so I had to come and try it out. I ordered the General Tso Chicken. Big chunks of chicken and very delicious and I received a large amount.

Food was quite good, with some of the best almond chicken I have had in the area. Not too oily, breading not too thick or overcooked. You could taste the seasoning used as well. And the fried rice was also quite good. No complaints.

Definitely would say this is the best chinese restaraunt to go to around the Wyandotte/Southgate area. This is ran by a very nice family along with they have the best portions and prices in town. This will be my number one go to for now on. 😊

The girl at the front I didn’t get her name but she was super sweet and making convo with me so great service and they were very fast with my food!. The food here is amazing one of the best tasting Chinese restaurants I’ve ever had and the portions wow!! For the amount that I paid for I felt like I got three times the amount of food. The quality of the food too was amazing 5 stars all the way!

I love New China Inn!!! Their General Tso Chicken is my go-to dish and luckily they are able to make it “not spicy” for my sad tastebuds! The woman who answers the phone is ALWAYS extremely friendly! My only complaint is that they aren’t open on Tuesdays and that somehow ends up being the day I crave them the most but I’ll let it slide since they deserved to have a day off too!

I love this place, I live about 2 miles away and I'm pretty sure I've had every chinese place around here. They are the best I've had around and the only place I will go to. All of the ladies up front are really friendly, and the food is always good and fresh!!

Discovered they actually have a combo Almond chicken with sweet and sour chicken. I have contemplated years in which one to get separately and now that I discovered this it’s better on my food mind stress. Awhile back they were super kind and gave us rice when we forgot at a family dinner.

This is a weird review because I personally couldn't eat anything this time around due to not feeling well. But we had a big order of food for some friends we were having over, and I must say...the staff are so friendly and wonderful. The portions were HUGE. And all of our friends really enjoyed their dishes. I will definitely be returning.

5-17-24. I tried calling, but there was no answer. I drove by and there’s a sign on the door that says they’re on vacation until 5-23-24.

2-5-24. It’s open again! Yeay!

As of 1-14-23 there’s a sign on the door that says “Closed until further notice. Sorry for the inconvenience”. I wish there were more details because I love this place.
