Lily's Seafood Grill & Brewery

I've been going to Lily's for lunch for years, though not as much recently after my office has moved. I revisited the other night for the first time with my wife. Service was friendly and prompt, as usual. Food came out very fast. The creole soup is the best, I have to get this everytime. I occasionally order a quart to go as well! This visit the chicken sandwich was a little dry, as was the
blue crab spinach & artichoke dip. Otherwise, it was very good a usual.

Looking for a place to eat last Friday turned challenging with long waits everywhere. When the idea of Lily Seafood, based on a positive past experience, crossed my mind, I suggested it to my party. After our visit, I can confidently say I'm impressed with the quality—every item had its unique soul and personality. You'll definitely see me again, and by the way, the chips and salsa were incredible.

I really enjoyed the many aquariums, prompt service, and well balanced dishes. The only thing that could have made the experience better is sound absorbing materials in the ceiling.

Best fish and chips I’ve ever had. The taste lingers in the best way and leaves me wanting more. Their cole slaw is enjoyable and unique. Their beer is great, too! It’s a bit pricey, but you get a lot for your money. I’ve been lucky enough to have Darrin as my server every time I’ve been here, and he just makes the experience all the much better! One of my favorite restaurants in Michigan and can’t wait to go back again soon.

Tried this place out since we were in the area and will be back! So many things I want to try. We started with Smoked Salmon spread and had Bayou Breakfast skillet. Both were delicious! My hubby had fish tacos and sweet potato fries. He could barely finish the 2 tacos since they were jam packed.

Let’s start out with a confession, I’m very picky about the restaurants that I patronize and I just love Lily’s. I have always been very happy with any of the menu items I have chosen. The seafood is always fresh and prepared perfectly with just the right seasoning. I really enjoy checking out the fish tanks and I could sit for hours watching all the critters in their environment. Prices seem reasonable and portions are good except I never seem to get enough French fries. Question? I haven’t been in lately but do you have the Monday all you can eat fried catfish available? If not, when are you going to bring it back ? Soon or never ? It such a great deal. Thank you and see you soon.

Came for Sunday brunch with friends and had a great experience. Food was good. Waitress was great and entertaining. Food took a while to come, but it was worth it after it showed up.
Tableside mimosas were a huge plus and was reasonably priced.
Definitely worth a return trip!!!

we travelled up from cleveland for a concert at royal oak and we happened to decide to come here to eat and have a couple drinks and it was amazing! the bartenders were super friendly and helpful and they let us take drinks to go to wait in line which was awesome! when we come back for a show this will 100% be our place.

First time here, and we will be back. Kathi was our server. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. Food was amazing! The chef is not afraid of spices, and there were so many flavors. Loved all of it.

I moved to Detroit after spending most of my life in Florida and coastal Virginia and Lily’s is by far the best seafood I’ve found since living in Mi.
We split the scallop and shrimp scampi and the Maryland crab cake dinner, both were so flavorful and fresh.
The calamari starter was also such a great experience for just being calamari.

I live about an hour away and I will be back and telling all my friends.

Also forgot to mention our waitress, Carmen, was so thoughtful and welcoming.

One of my new fav spots!!! My Mom and I dinned in the bar area. The booth seating also looked nice but the bar area is well spaced and has many tvs if you're trying to catch the game. The food was amazing!! We ordered the North Shore Seafood Pasta, fried calamari and salmon Reuben sandwich. The calamari was a hit!! They were lightly fired sitting on top of an orange sauce, kind of like a bang bang sauce with a pickled yellow pepper sauce in the center for dipping. Craaaazy combo but it SLAPPED!! The Salmon Reuben (maaaaaan what!!)!! This might be my new fav sandwich, I've already had another one in less than a week. I don't think you can order this anywhere else. The salmon was perfect & tender topped with house-made slaw and provolone cheese 🔥🔥🔥. The beer was also smooth & potent. If your server asks you how you liked it, don't lie, this place is a brew so they love the feedback. The pasta was good too, we didn't leave much scraps. One thing I have to note, customer service was BEYOND amazing!! We had the pleasure of Carson serving our table. He's also the bartender. He gave excellent recommendations on the menu, gave us the breakdown of the brewery process, family history of the restaurant and didn't miss a beat on coming back to check on our table. He's one of those dudes that truly loves his craft, and that makes all the difference in the experience!! Ask for him, dude will get you right!!

The food was fantastic and our waiter was incredibly kind and patient with my elderly grandparents and their odd requests. We gave him the worlds most complicated order and not only was it entirely correct but served with great kindness and humor.

Okay, so I haven’t actually tried the food here, but now I want to. Our bartender was amazing and funny. The atmosphere is nice, and we loved Frank the fish.

We stopped in for a last minute dinner with family one night and had a fantastic experience. I had the bloodymary and the smoked salmon Reuben sandwich - wow wow wow! It was so so so good! I was blown away. It is my new favorite item on the menu. It is always such a great experience dining in.

Enjoyed the Atmosphere and the great service. Our Waiter was helpful and very Attentive. Food was delicious and a good Wine selection. When visiting please check this place out.

Great place to eat - great seafood. We got there at happy hour so appetizers were half price and beer and wine were at a discount. We started with a crab cake and a calamari appetizer. Both were great and everyone loved them. I had a cup of Lily’s creole soup and a smoked salmon reuben with the seasoned fries. Both the soup and the sandwich were delicious. The fries were only OK and not worth the adder. My wife had the fish tacos and the sweet potato fries. She loved the tacos and the fries. Our friends had the shrimp scampi which came with large shrimp and they loved them. Overall we liked this place a lot. Good service, good food, and reasonable prices.

Margaret was awesome, professional, and had quick service! She memorized the drink orders of 11 people without any note pad which we found impressive. Food was excellent.

I almost don’t want to review so it stays not-too busy for brunch! The food is amazing- I would come here twice a month for the crab cakes and eggs when I lived in royal oak. And a huge perk that its a huge building with lots of seating and good service so if you come hungry, you’ll be happy all around

This is a really great spot near downtown Royal Oak. The beer is so good – brewed in house, which I love. And the food was good, just really cheesy.
Definitely going to come back here.
