St. Patrick Catholic School, Portland

Students here very nice and polite. All students are well behaved. Facility always clean and inviting. Teachers friendly. If I had school age children I would definitely pay tuition to send them here.

St. pats offers something very rare in today's world...a school where all of the students from dk thru 12th grade are in the same building. Excellent family atmosphere, excellent educational opportunity, great place to send your kids.

I would say this is one of the best schools I've went too so far.

Good school if you are white, Catholic, smart, conservative, cis/straight, athletic, not in any way disabled, and moderately well off to wealthy. Otherwise..just don't. As with many Catholic schools, a policy of shoving catholic, anti-LGBT, etc rhetoric down students' throats was emphasised. My favourite English teacher was fired and replaced with someone much less competent. The theology class is taught by someone completely unqualified. Only foreign language offered is Latin. My Autistic sister is transferring to public because they do not have the resources to give her the help she needs (a bright girl, but she struggles socially). As a non-athletic kid I always felt left behind in a heavily sports based social climate. The school is HEAVILY white (95+%). Material offered is above level by at least a year or two and is fast paced. People are nicer to your face than in a public school but just as awful behind your back. Basically I'd say just go to the public schools.
