Vintage Sound At Great Lakes Trader

Quite frankly, the best Vintage Audio store I've found with an eclectic mix of audio gear with a little something on the shelf for everyone. The owner Greg, is a one of a kind guy with a broad wealth of knowledge. You could talk with him for hours! Prices are beyond reasonable and the quality of the gear is exceptional. He also has guitars, vinyl and books. I was able to pick up a couple pieces there that have been on my wish list for some time. Just a great place to visit. I know I'll be back!

Staff is very knowledgeable extremely helpful and kind. They have a service you can get your equipment serviced and updated. there's so many things to look at and to dream about buying if you like music or audio anything this place is a candy store and they have records too!!!

This is an awesome shop! It's stocked with so much unique, vintage stereo and music equipment. Greg was very helpful when getting me set up with my very first true stereo system (speakers, receiver, turntable). He immediately pointed me in the right direction to find equipment that fit my budget--and even cut me a deal. Very happy with the experience and the stereo system!

I found a nice little Alvarez classic acoustic guitar here and Greg even cut me a deal on an already great price. If you need a musical instrument, come here. They are super friendly, Greg knows what instrument you're looking for even if you don't fully know yourself. I hope this place is around for at least another 50 years. By far the best mom and pop music shop I've ever seen in my life.

Nice audio equipment. Good prices. The proprietor, Gregg is knowledgeable, fair and a really nice person. He also has very good audio techs if you need a repair. If your into vintage stereo this is the place to go.

Place is fantastic. A little pricey but it's all top shelf gear, and the owner likes to wheel and deal a little bit....if you're a musician or just a music lover, it is DEFINITELY worth checking out...his repair prices are very reasonable, they fixed a left channel that was out on my old Pioneer SX780 for only 70 dollars..I couldn't be more happy!!! There's vintage guitars, REAL tube amps...very eclectic and collectible speakers.. JBL's, Magnepans, B & W....Just go in there, trust me. =)

Place is packed with audio equipment, musical instruments, and records. If you want vintage high end stereo components this place is a must. Very friendly and helpful staff.
