Absolutely love the people and the food! The fajitas are my favorite haha! My partner and I are recognized very quickly, this business clearly cares for their customers. I’ve only ever had the best experiences here. Hands down best restaurant in the area. They will never be losing me as a customer :)

I cannot emphasize how great the food here is enough. I have been there many times and have yet to receive something I don't like. The staff is extremely friendly and efficient. The prices cannot be beat. Best food in Cass County- hands down. The free chips with house salsa is incredible as well. I hope this place stays open forever. Thanks for always being so kind Gabriel!

Best salsa in southern Michigan!
My first time here, I ordered four tacos. Steak, chicken, chorizo, and Lengua. They were all excellent! The chicken was moist and flavorful, the steak was tender and well seasoned, the chorizo was bold and bright flavored, and the lengua was cubed and tender! This is only the second chicken taco I’ve found that I would order again (chicken is my least favorite.) The salsa is amazing! The red is thick and bold, a bit hotter than the green I think. The green is a bit thinner and smooth. My favorite salsa so far.
I will be back to try again and will update here when I do, but I can confidently recommend this restaurant to everyone based on this food!

Update:
The Barbacoa taco was good, lots of flavor. The ground beef was also very good not bland as it is other places. The marinated pork was excellent!
I also had a ground beef tostada and I would highly recommend this!
For me my favorites are the chorizo and marinated pork.

Great food! This is the first restaurant to have an awesome vegetarian menu!! (most of restaurant offered beans and cheese as vegetarian choices) this is great, flavorful, and delicious! I do recommend this place.

Accidentally ended up in south Michigan and happened to find this place. Gabriel was our waiter, and he showed us the vegetarian menu, which was pasted to the wall behind some backpacks for sale. We had a delicious vegan meal, complete with TVP (our fav), and Gabriel was so kind and helpful! If I ever find myself in south Michigan again, this is where I will be eating.

Delicious food! Definitely worth the 45 minute drive! You won't be disappointed, promise!!

This is a wonderful place to eat at the staff is amazing. The atmosphere is awesome. The food is good and if you have family, they are very supportive on families. I love this place. I eat there a lot special on special occasions please try their food is amazing.

This was a random stop for a quick lunch. I had the special fir the day which was Asada tacos which were outstanding. Plus a Mexican bottle of coke. I will be back.

Best Mexican food in town. The rice is flavorful and fluffy. I highly recommend the wet burrito. The red sauce is thicker like a gravy but it has an amazing, slightly smokey flavor to it. I was lacking it off if my plate. I got my burrito with steak, but i imagine their chicken or ground beef are very tasty options. Their salsa is chunky and runny, my favorite with tiny chunks of onion and tomatoes with cilantro.

La Casa de Maria hands down has the best food in Dowagiac. Everything I've order has been amazing, and everyone I've taken there loves it. When dining in, the staff is friendly, helpful, and accommodating. When you order to go, you're provided with everything you need in the bag. You've gotta try their food :)

REALLY GOOD Mexican American food! The chimichangas with chicken, pinapple, and cheese inside were fabulous! Gabriel was a fantastic server as well! Very reasonably priced!

Visiting the area that I grew up around and visiting a friend from long ago. My husband wanted traditional Mexican food and my friend recommended this place for lunch. We loved it. Decent prices with good size portions. Staff was friendly and helpful.
