Moonrise Winery

1st time visiting Moonrise. Pleasantly surprised. I guess they had a hard time with getting signage through the township. What a shame. Almost drove by it but worth the visit. Great atmosphere inside, warm and friendly. You could also buy some cheese, sausage and seasoned olives etc along with the wine. Jollay Orchards and Contessa Winery also in vicinity.

Easily one of the most picturesque wineries in the area. Do yourself a favor and climb the hill out behind the winery for a closer look at the vineyards themselves and a fantastic panorama of the surrounding countryside.

You can't go wrong with any of the wines here; there's literally something for everyone. Tom is an amazing winemaker and viticulturalist. The tasting room staff has always been the friendliest and most accommodating. We make it a point to stop in whenever we're in the area because it's always such a wonderful experience, from the scenery to the warm welcome to the delightful wines.

An instant favorite! Great wine and atmosphere. The outdoor seating area has an amazing view of their hillside vineyard and humming bird feeders just outside the windows let you watch them as they feed. A must visit!!

Love it when you go to a winery to taste and the winemaker is pouring you their wines and telling you all about their products. Loved listening to Tom's stories about his history in the industry. We are from the East Coast and travel to the Finger Lakes region to do wine tastings frequently and Tom had started his career at Cornell and had great recollections of his time there. The dry wines were very good and the Sangria was delicious. Nice location with tables outside and a little away from it all.

It was great that we decided to make a stop at this place. Very friendly service. It feels welcoming and cozy on a rainy day. It feels like being home with a good glass of wine Tried some of their wines my favorite was the transition Red. Of course got some bottles to bring home..

This winery was really fun! The wine was great, the owner was pouring and having a blast, and the tasting room and new patio are perfect! We got the first taste of their new passion fruit and mango sangria and it was excellent! We were the first customers to sit on their new spacious patio. We also took the short walk up to the top of the hill behind the winery where they have a nice party area that you can see the surrounding countryside for miles! I highly recommend stopping in, you will really enjoy it!

Fantastic atmosphere! The wine slushy was amazing!!

My fiance and I made this one of our stops last weekend and it was our favorite. Beautiful place and I enjoyed each wine I tasted. We were greeted by a very friendly gentleman and shared in good conversation. We will definitely be back.

Tom was wonderful, walked us through everything! All the staff was very helpful, oh and the wine was pretty good too!

Great wine, beautiful, relaxing ambience in the tasting room. It was a little chilly the evening we visited but the outdoor accomodations are top notch. The staff were very helpful. We plan to return again to see the flowers in bloom next year. The grape Vines on the hill are really impressive.

Highly recommend! The wine was great, as was the company. We met the owner, Tom, who was a gem. He has a vast knowledge of agriculture and winemaking, and was great to chat with. Javier and Linnea were so very attentive. The wines were great, as was the Sangria. We found this through a recommendation at another winery, and we’ll definitely be back. Thanks for a great time!

The wine was excellent! And the staff was personable and knowledgeable. The view was pretty and they have a nice outside area. The tasting is a great deal and you get to keep your glass. This is a new spot so go and support their new beginnings!

We would highly recommend visiting this beautiful winery. We met Tom (owner) and Cadence who gave us a lovely tasting. The Cabernet Franc is unlike any other, and that is coming from someone who swore off red wine! Take a trip up to the top of the vineyard to overlook the winery, you won’t regret it. We made such great memories & will surely be back. Thank you!

The winery is a great place to stop for a glass of wine. The owner is usually around and is very knowledgeable and friendly. A really great selection of wine where you can find something for everyone!
