Chad was very helpful. I first got my bike in 2019 and took it to riverfront bicycle shop, for some work then they closed. So I was looking for another bike shop small bike shop and as I was walking seen spin bicycle shop so I stopped in and talked to Chad. I told him everything that I thought what was wrong with it. He told me to bring it in and they would take a look at it. So the next day I stopped in and Chad was not there but his partner was also very helpful. I told him I spoke to Chad and I wanted to drop my bike off. Wrote up the work order and told me it would be ready Tuesday. My bike is like new now thanks to both of you. You have a customer for life

I take all my bikes and trikes to Spin. From adding e-assist to complete rebuilds and repairs, I won't take my bikes to anyone else. I drive 45 miles to Spin even though there's a shop in my town. That's how much I rely on and trust Spin.

They've helped me out many times, got me set up on my daily commute bike and have been helping me keep it maintained. Great bike shop. Awesome shop cat.

I was in need of an emergency repair. I purchased new riser bars online and now my shift and brake controls wouldn't reach the new height of the new bars. I took the bike in on a Saturday and spoke with Quinn who was understanding of my problem, since my bike is my only mode of transportation. He didn't make any promises, which I could totally understand, running all new cables is a lot of work, but gave me a completion date of Tuesday. I received a call from Quinn early Tuesday morning saying the bike was ready. I was so excited. I went to pick it up and had the best ride home. Everything worked better than when I had dropped it off, mind you there were only about 60 miles on my bike from New. I've been constantly riding daily for over a week now and I couldn't be more impressed. Quinn is a master bike technician, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I won't take my ride anywhere else. Spin Cycles is now and forever my hometown bike shop. Thanks Quinn and Chad(the owner) for your services!

Wonderful service— and great store cat! I walked in and didn’t know if my bike rack — bought on Amazon— was installed correctly. Quinn came out to my car and checked— no charge— and also helped me choose some other equipment. No hard sales push, laid back and smart. Thanks much— I’ll be back!

Excellent sales and service. Quick turnaround servicing my bike, sometimes on the spot. Great advice while not pushing you to spend too much. Excellent selection of parts and accessories. A few bikes or trikes in a wide price range on hand.

Amazing place. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff! I bought a bike from them a month ago. I went in the store convinced that I needed a mountain bike. Before jumping straight into bikes, they actually listened me when I went about my biking experience, my routines, and the intended use I had planned for my bike. After that, they actually suggested that what I really wanted was an adventure bike instead, a bike midway between mountain and road. They made several suggestions, offered me several models and they went into detail with each model. They really helped me to make the best informed decision!

Needless to say, I'm quite happy with my new adventure bike. It is an awesome ride. Tune-ups and further adjustments where needed, and these were performed quickly on the spot.

Amazing! We placed an urgent call to this shop, as we were packing our son for college and realized he had a flat on his bike. They held the shop open for us, as they were 10 min. from closing time. They were personable, professional of ridiculously efficient. They not only fixed the flat, they adjusted the brakes and straightened a bend wheel frame. It was less than 30 min. and we walked out of there with a bike good as new and at a very, very reasonable price. The best customer service we have gotten in years.

I visited to purchase a helmet and was assisted with all of my questions. The gentlemen was very helpful to ensure I was wearing the helmet properly and that the size was correct. I decided to browse afterwards and noticed a bike that was one like I hadn't seen before. The same gentlemen spent roughly 15 minutes with me explaining how the bike worked opposed to most others. I enjoyed his enthusiasm and joy in his voice going over how much fun he's had with that particular bike. I think what made me feel so comfortable was he knew I was interested in learning about the equipment rather than trying to push me to buy it with facts. Wonderful customer service, friendly staff!

My family has purchased several bikes there over the years and are about to purchase 2 or 3 more. Fantastic price, expert knowledge and tips, wonderful service on my bikes from skilled professionals. Not to mention the owners are wonderful, supportive human beings who do amazing things in our community.

Customer care is incredible. Usually I go there with a decision already made on a bike. They take the time to walk through your decision and suggest thinking about another option. Not always the more expensive option either. Good listeners.

I loved these guys, if I was more into bikes I'd become great friends. First off their prices are amazing. Also unlike other bike shops, they won't charge you if something happens. I came in with a flat, and I left with a new one but got a flat again, they changed the tube without having me pay. The next day there was another flat and they didn't make me pay and found the problem. They fixed that problem and I'm riding without another flat. I plan on getting all my biking gear from them.

My wife and I have been shopping for a few weeks, seeking the right place and right bikes. We are new to cycling and have been looking at road bikes at shops all over the greater Lansing area.

We ended up going with Spin for a couple reasons.

First, is their outstanding customer service. They go above and beyond to make sure that you are informed before making a purchase. And after the purchase is made, they do a great job of making sure you know what you need to know in order to properly care for your new bike.

Second, they have very competitive prices. Jamis bikes offer great bang for the buck. In our price range, we weren't able to find anything that compared in terms of quality for the dollar.

I would recommend them highly to anyone.

Great customer service. We felt bad for walking in 30 minutes before closing time to fix a tire. They didn't care at all, "bring it on in!". Great staff, great experience. I'll be going back anytime I need repairs or a new bike

I have been wanting to get back into the MTB world for the past couple months and man am I glad I found Spin Bicycle Shop! Chad and his crew was OUTSTANDING! Their customer service and knowledge was out of this world! I will be a return customer for years to come and I know where to send friend from now on. Keep up the good work!!!!

Failed at replacing an inner tube by myself, so I decided to take it to a local bicycle shop. A friend of mine recommended the Riverfront shop, but after looking at reviews I was a bit skeptical. I decided to try out SPIN Bicycle Shop instead. I was helped by Chad, who IMMEDIATELY changed my inner tube for only 8 bucks. Extremely efficient work and very friendly staff.

Where to start? By far Lansings best LBS (local bike shop). Right in Old Town, SPIN is what a shop should be. Friendly staff and owners who care about their customers. If they don't have exactly what you need they can get it and quickly. I'm a competitive racer who's bikes need to be top notch and SPIN is always my first and only stop.

Chad and his staff are so kind and helpful.... I'm not a biker, but have a jogging stroller that had a leak in the tube.... they diagnosed and fixed the problem and had me on my way in about 5 minutes. Highly recommend this shop.

These bike nerds are the type of people you want to buy a ride from. My wife and I both bought our bikes here and take them back for routine service. They also sponsor local group rides around the area and promote meetups with local restaurants and breweries. Plus they have a shop cat, how cool is that?

Drove 38 miles to get a minor rim truing paid $17 got back mounted tire still out of true...WTHeck. Live and learn.

Chad called me and explained how he trued my wheel...i now realize my review was too critical and I was misinformed. Just the fact he called me back made me think YES this is GREAT customer service which is VERY RARE these days.
