Dr. Alvarado is kind, caring and follows through with everything important to my health. Extremely competent and compassionate and dose not beat around the bush.

I have always had great care from Dr. Alvarado and his team. He listens, he explains, he cares. I am grateful to have him partner with me in taking good care of my health.

He’s a very good communicator. I haven’t felt rushed at appointments. The front office has consistently been good with communication, as well, which I think is sometimes even harder to find than a good doctor, honestly.

Dr. Alverado listens to me when I have a health problem, cooperates with my insurance carrier, and has been "spot on" with his diagnosis. Highly recommended.

Knowledgeable, accessible, professional and compassionate care. The Doctors MA is also excellent and diligent with any followups above and beyond.

Called to become a new patient because my current doctor is moving to a different practice that is too far to drive to. I got turned down because I take adderral which I have been on for many years. Never abused the medication. I clearly take it because I need it. It’s hard to find good patient care anymore from anyone who truly cares about the well being of your health. I also take blood pressure medication for high blood pressure. Healthcare is just all about money anymore.

Average for the medical field. Recently one of the partners began basing business decisions on what an employee thinks. Some member of their office staff created a $600 medical bill by not giving correct Insurance data to a diagnosis Lab, it took me weeks and 5 phone call to straighten out the mistake. One of the owners thinks she is beyond reproach. When I spoke to the COO of the lab, he told me it was due to the insurance carrier being incorrectly entered, Or more likely not entered at all. Then I’m stuck with the $600+ bill as a result of their error. Later on May 23rd a top manager called me to berate me for being upset about errant charges that I was billed for. I hope your experience is better.

This doctor is a joke. If you want someone who isn’t a quack, I suggest not scheduling with him. Biggest gaslighting doctor in the medical field in the Mid Michigan area. He will tell you one thing and do a completely different thing. Also, good luck on getting them to answer their phone or getting them to call back. His wife who works in office is no different.

Be sure to ask if you will be billed for calling in for tests results. Was billed “telehealth” to receive test results and be told I was being referred to a specialist. This was after I called them bc I hadn’t received a promised follow up call. Was *not* informed I’d be billed for the call ahead of time and was completely taken aback when I received the co-pay bill a full year later (not an exaggeration). Transparency goes a long way with patient care.

Says right on Google search, accepts Medicare/Medicade. This is not true as I tried to make an appointment and was told no we do not accept that insurance.
This is either misinformation from Google or disinformation from the Doctor. Either way. No, they do not accept it.

terrible staff....never answer the phone.. doesnt call back...lies about calling or texting you...lost my file and charts....
and as for alverado himself...rushed sessions...feel like he does the bare minimum...never even cared to feel the pain and discomfort and sickness i go through....then when i call to complain about everything..he drops me as a patient....

He's not at Haslett family care anymore he went off into a practice with his wife but good luck getting them to call you back for test results or call you back about an appointment you have to go online to make an appointment pretty much useless I would say
