The Early Bird

Passed this place 100 times and finally had time to stop in for breakfast.

I planned on getting a breakfast bagel or burrito at first, but when I saw they had a special breakfast bowl on offer I figured I'd give it a shot and I'm so glad I did. I asked for it to go, which was probably a bit of a pain container wise, but the workers running the show had no problem and made it happen for me.

I went on a short walk around the town while they made it, probably only 10-15 minutes when they also had about 10 other customers so excellent timing even when it's pretty busy inside. I'd probably order ahead next time to make it a bit easier on them as it's quite small inside and the kitchen also looks to be very small.

The staff was awesome and very accommodating, the person at the counter made my green tea SUPER hot which I personally love and made sure to double cup it so I wouldn't have an issues holding it. A nice attention to detail that goes a long way with people I think.

Can't wait to go back because my bowl was shockingly good, I expected your average run of the mill greasy breakfast meat with decently done eggs and some mushy veggies and was 100% wrong. They used awesome fresh crispy peppers, spinach (could have been kale), onions, potatoes which were a mix of sweet and gold and sausage. I got my eggs sunny side up and they were flawless, whoever works the grill nailed it.

Art is all cool. Staff were exceptionally helpful and kind. Even going over the top to find an artist of one of the pieces of art we liked.

Food was perfectly prepared and exceptionally tasty and affordable. Not local, but we will be back!

If you have the chance, this lovely place is definitely worth checking out. It's a small nook, supporting local businesses. I needed a special order and they had no problem accommodating, they actually had some great ideas for me. The two women working were beyond wonderful. Add the food was a huge hit. I recommend the crepes and home fries. The coffee is also locally sourced Carpe Diem, can't go wrong with them. Eat in or take out. Worth every bite/sip.

Best place for breakfast or lunch! It’s a must visit every time I come from North Carolina to see my friends and family. Everyone inside is friendly and you might even strike up a conversation with a random stranger and find yourself eating breakfast with them! The Early Bird is quick and very affordable. Next time you’re looking for a day off cooking or just wanting to try a new place the Early Bird is the place to go. It’s really not just some place to get breakfast it’s a whole community.

I ordered a large black coffee and one of their breakfast sandwiches. The coffee was so smooth and amazing. The coffee doesnt need anything added to it. Its perfect the way it is. The breakfast sandwich was also fantastic. I love the early bird :D

Met a friend for brunch, sat by the front window and enjoyed the eclectic art on the walls. The Early Bird is run by lovely women making delicious meals with smiles and kindness. Bravo!

This was my second visit to Early Bird and it did not disappoint. Food was fresh and I mean really fresh. My omelette was perfectly cooked and tasty. Chia was good as well and Cara and family are guaranteed to give service with a smile.

Really good breakfast sandwiches. We are from outside of Detroit, MI and here for a wedding so this spot was great for an afforadble, high quality breakfast!

An absolutely amazing little place! The vibes are adorable and the staff is so kind. I cannot get over the quality of the food and drink, and the prices are incredibly fair. Stop in, have a coffee, and read some of the books they have on the tables! You won't regret it.

Such an amazing breakfast place in the worlds most pickiest eater ever and everything was seriously 5 stars! Their strawberry lemonade had mint in it that made it so fresh and their banana bread was to die for! 5’s across the board great lady’s too

Loved this little diner. The wait felt a bit long but they were busy and when I got the food, it was worth it. The staff is friendly and attentive. All around good spot to enjoy food.

The food is fantastic, the service was efficient and the owner was very friendly and helpful. It is cozy, clean and artsy place to go. Unique paintings and hand blown glass artifacts for sale. I definitely would recommend this place. We will be back!

I got the Mexican burrito with bacon and sausage it was delicious and packed with flavor, my lady got the crepes she was in love... we will be back soon

We love breakfast at the Early Bird! They serve local coffee with fresh eats. Most breakfast joints are greasy eggs and bacon style.

Early Bird has a refreshing menu where you can get the "typical" breakfast, or something light and fun like crepes with fresh fruit. They have a menu of to-go items like breakfast sandwiches, bagels and smoothies, too.

I love how they contribute to our small downtown. Cara, the owner, has a generous heart and is involved with our community. She always has welcoming, bright and beautiful window displays, so as we drive through town, we get to share in the beautiful scene she's set.

She displays artwork from local artists, giving us something fun to explore and enjoy while we dine, while giving the artists exposure and an opportunity to sell their work.

I love everything about this cafe, from the food, to the vibe, to the spirit of the business. Grab breakfast here!

Been coming here for a while. Great coffee, good food. Staff is super nice. Get the fruit cup for the little dude and a classic breakfast sandwich can’t go wrong.
