BeachWay Resort & Hotel

As a motel owner, I enjoy a getaway after the Labor Day weekend. After much research I decided to stay at the BeachWay Resort & Hotel. It was within walking distance to the beach. I stayed upstairs in the hotel. It was quite lovely, quiet, and the room was spotless. I woke up to the smell of coffee from downstairs. It gave me a B&B vibe.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
I look forward to staying there again in the future.

We stayed at 2 bedrooms suite. Great location, outstanding service, very clean rooms. Nice touch - free morning coffee, bread, and fruits. It's close to Oval Beach and Mt Baldhead Park. Would definitely come back.

We rented the waterfront room and loved it. The room was clean and accommodating. The staff was friendly and helpful. And we loved the patio and view! Will for sure go back!

We loved everything about Beachway. We had a suite on the water with a kitchenette, which was perfect. We will definitely be back! The staff was generous and so friendly. It's hard to find service like this these days.

My wife and I stay in the same waterfront suite every year for the past 6 years. Just close enough to town without being right in the middle of it all. Quick chain ferry ride gets you right into downtown or you can sit on your patio and watch the boats go by all day with a cocktail or 10. Annual trip never disappoints.

We return every mid July and stay in a room by the poolside. Love it. Simple clean accommodations. Cleanest pool I've ever seen anywhere, year after year and kept warm for those evening swims. Staff friendly and helpful. Great morning coffee and fruit donut holes. Can hardly wait to return.

Great location. About 1/2 mile from Lake Michigan. The Kalamazoo River right across the street. Local park with dock just down the street. The room was just as pictured. Wide choice of rooms. The room was clean. Small fridge and coffee pot. Large bathroom. Tv. They had donughts and coffee for breakfast. Short drive into downtown. Closes up for the winter. Owner was very nice. I loved it.

All I could ask for in a weekend getaway! Room was spotless and comfortable. Didn't get to use the pool but the deck and water were clean. No "noisy neighbors" during our stay. My only complaint is that the provided wifi password didn't work, but I didn't seek any assistance from staff so that one's on me.

BeachWay is an idyllic resort just a short walk/drive from the sandy Lake Michigan beach with wonderful views of the activity on the Kalamazoo River and a short drive to downtown Saugatuck. The rooms are among the cleanest that we have ever stayed, and they are nicely decorated to match the theme of the resort.

Nice place. Our room was small but comfortable. We had a view of the river. Only a short walk to the ferry. The only issue was the tiny shower where the shower head wouldn't adjust.

Cute little hotel. Our room was on the smaller size,but I booked last minute and we had no other option. However the hotel it's very cozy and clean.

It's nice and cute inside! We are close to the ferry also which is very convenient. We had an issue figuring out the air conditioning but then we got it. Great staff at the front desk too for leaving us a note about it so that we could figure it out.

I love this resort. We have been a few times and will continue to visit. The rooms poolside have been newly decorated , clean and are beautiful. The pool is Crystal clear and heated to the perfect temp. I highly recommend and we return again.

What a great place to stay! We utilized their one & only suite, because we wanted a water view & our own private patio area. The bed was super comfy, cute small kitchen (with a full sized fridge!), large bathroom & everything was spotless clean. Also, it's conveniently located right across from the ferry that takes you into the town of Saugatuck. My only complaint was there's 3 skylights in the bedroom & it rained twice during the night when we stayed here. Having a skylight in a bedroom first of all is a bad idea, especially if you'd like to sleep past 6am & when it rains, it's REALLY loud on the plexiglass skylights. Other than that, everything was great. Definitely would stay here again.

We love this place and go there every year! Finding a parking spot downtown Saugatuck can be impossible so it's very nice to have the chain ferry only steps away that takes you directly across the water to downtown. It runs about every 15 minutes or so. It does not run all night so if we stay late, we just call a cab which only cost us about $10 to get back to the resort. Very reasonable! Plus , a cab is the responsible thing to do if you don't feel like counting your drinks while your on your vacation ! Great staff too.

Best place to pick for a relaxing vacation! Staff is very attentive and kind!! Rooms are super clean and have recently been re-decorated making it look so much cuter. I love how it is so close to the Beach. And not only that, it also has an amazing pool that is crystal clear clean!!Can't find a single bad thing about this place. For sure making my 6th vacay here again!

So glad I chose this hotel. A bit quieter than in downtown. Pool is nice. Room 103 was great and seemed very clean. Just steps away from chain ferry to downtown and the mt. Baldhead park is just 2 minutes down the road. The beach is also ver close nearby.

Perfect spot for a nice quiet vacation, rooms are very clean and each one is different. The pool is big and gets 9 feet deep. Staff is always friendly and the town is right across the river.

After a "stumble" at the start of our stay (main water-heater was broken), we were moved across the street to one of the canal-side suites; what a gem! Kitchen with big fridge, breakfast-bar/stools, plates/silverware; nice seating/living area w/TV and door wall to patio overlooking canal; highlights are the bedroom which is beautifully appointed (big dresser, big bed, door-wall, but no TV) and bathroom ("advanced" jacuzzi tub, full stand-in shower, but no counter space).
