This place is amazing! We had to wait 30 mins for seating and we were so bummed as we were so hungry, but it was totally worth it. We ordered from the vegan menu, the Mediterranean nachos and the tacos, both were super delicious. Furthermore, they accommodated for my dog and offered water bowl and treats for him too. We loved the outdoor seat vibe, the food, and the service.

GROW offers both a gluten-free and celiac menu. Ask for the gluten-free menu when you check in.

We ate at GROW three times during our 3-day stay in Saugatuck, for both breakfast and lunch. We tried different options each time, the gluten-free and celiac menu was so extensive. In fact, we both ordered different dishes so that we could share and have the opportunity to try more menu items.

The menu reflects seasonal vegetable and fruit options, your wait person will review those options and other specials with you.

GROW is a gratuity-free restaurant, so the prices reflect that intention, to provide a living wage and demonetize hospitality. The service was exceptional.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing. If you are in the area and want a great breakfast, swing by here!!! The service was top notch, their selection is unique and delicious with a wonderful presentation. Their coffee is from the local coffee shop (uncommon coffee). Their prices are higher but reasonable since they pay their worker's a living wage and provide great quality in their craft.
I will visit this establishment every time I am in town. This place is truly outstanding.

This was one of the best breakfasts, ever. It was so difficult to choose because everything sounded amazing. When you can make breakfast good taste amazing and unique with so many flavor explosions, I'm impressed. The Bloody Mary was also awesome. Everything can be made vegan, too.

Great outdoor dining, amazing food, super great service. Love this place! Will be coming back next time we're in the area! The carrot cake pancakes were perfect and the carnitas skillet was so delicious 😋

We just had an amazing time at this brunch place. They have lunch and breakfast items all the time. Our server Eric, was beyond wonderful! We really really enjoyed our time here and I especially loved the blueberry lemon French toast. We will come back for sure! THANKS ERIC!!

GROW Cafe and Bistro was our lunch stop while visiting Saugatuck and what a great choice we made. The menu was eclectic and interesting and my only problem was that I wanted to try everything! I settled on the chicken salad sandwich and it was the best chicken salad I’ve ever tasted. The light dressing that was on the greens was to die for, too. My husband had the Belgian waffle and the locally sourced yogurt and jam it was served with put it over the top. Add to all of this the cute atmosphere and fantastic service and you can’t go wrong making this place one of your stops while in Saugatuck!

Amazing restaurant with unique offerings and great service! I had the Grow Slam which was beyond delicious. My husband had the carnitas and he loved it too.

They also have a no gratuity policy and all the servers raved about it, and I must say I appreciated having that already factored into the pricing.

Best pancakes I've ever had -- fluffy carrot cake, walnuts (I think) for texture, light crisp at the edges. I had them once and then went back the next morning to have them again. So, so yummy. Husband had the lemon blueberry french toast one day and the Skillet with pork carnitas the next and loved them both. Even the avocado toast was wonderful. Next time we're in the area we may just try everything on the menu!

Lovely corner restaurant. Menu is small but the many options are good and exciting. Staff is professional, polite and friendly. When we had questions the chef Vanke to our table and explained the food preparation. Tip: mid-afternoon is not very busy but clearly this is a popular restaurant.
The restaurant appears quite clean, including the bathrooms.
The lavender lemonade was popular and quite tasty.
Several of us ordered the Cuban-ish sandwhich. The pulled pork was delicious and the bread was soft with a crunchy crust.
The trout tacos were very popular and we should have ordered a second plate for more people to taste.
The burrata & barley salad was delicious.
Tip: all dishes are quite filling. Consider the delicious blueberry French toast or the very tasty carrot pancakes more as a dessert than a side.
The restaurant emphasizes local providers one of which are down the street.
We would gladly return.

Let's start by saying quickly, best place I have ever eaten, I rarely am impressed as much as I was here. The food was amazing, the coffee was great, very friendly and fast service. This is the place if you want farm to table food that is incredible. We felt like we were at home, Matthew our server was great, quick to make sure we had everything we needed. We had the pleasure of meeting both owners, Alec was super nice and we had a great conversation about the food plus his wife Lindsay is the chef. My wife doesn't eat beets (until this meal, so now we are going to try and make them like we had them in the dishwasher I had), but her and I shared 2 dishes, I ordered the vegetables + eggs, my wife ordered loaded potatoes bravas I will say the portions were great, we were full and still left some on the plate. Truthfully we both ate a little more then we should have, but the food was so flavorful. I can't say enough about this place and the people who represent it. Definitely a place to go you will not be disappointed. More likely amazed at the delicious food and all around great service.

Shared the Grow ‘Slam’ with my partner because I really wanted to try the carrot cake pancakes. Was not disappointed! Great flavors and service here. And they seem to pay their staff well since they have eliminated gratuity. Would definitely go back. Recommend calling ahead to get on the waitlist.

A fantastic place in every respect. Attentive and welcoming staff, creative and delicious menu. Very accommodating for a vegetarian or vegan palette with their vegetable forward dishes. This is a place to visit again and again.

This place is so good! Every single dish was delicious and the drink selection was so great as well. We love GROW! Go! You won't regret it! We got the Breakfast Panzanella, Blueberry French Toast, GROW Slam, The Skillet, and Egg Sandwich, plus coffee (the sugar and cream, omg!) the Cherry Shrub, oj, and Lavender Lemonade. Perfection!

I never leave reviews. Ever. But this place was so phenomenal I feel like it would be a crime not to! The food is absolutely delicious! Fresh, unique, cooked to perfection. So much thought and care into each plate. Every plate that came out of the kitchen looked like a work of art! Casual hipster vibe but 5 star service and menu. Do not miss this one!!

My partner and I dined outdoors and loved our experience! The gratuity free concept was reflected into the menu but we found our value for the dollar was above average at the end of sale. Service was attentive, food delicious & happy hour made for a great early evening beer!

A small place in downtown Saugatuck, this is a great place to have breakfast, lunch or brunch. I believe this is a pretty popular place and we did have to wait 20 minutes before getting a table, but I don't think it's too much of an issue considering how good the food was. They have a simple, yet ecclectic menu. You put your name on a sheet inside along with your phone number and preference (inside/outside) and they'll call you when ready. We sat outside and what was really great about that was most spots are covered in shade from the trees above so the sun isn't blaring down on you. By design or coincidence I don't know, but it served us very well. I was very happy with the carrot cake pancakes I ordered - who knew?! Friend had the skillet which he said was delicious (did look good). Bacon was burnt just right! They have cold brew coffee that they serve and you have a choice between regular or one that has a chocolate milk flavoring. I did both. They are served in little cartons like you would get in grade school. Honestly, there were many dishes that were being served to other patrons that I would have liked to try. Everything looked so good. Staff was great and they even brought out bowls of water for the dogs that were sitting alongside their owners (not sure if they are allowed inside - assuming not). An excellent experience for a cozy afternoon lunch. Be sure to check it out.

This wonderfully plucky little place was a pleasant surprise on my visit to Saugatuck! I visited Sunday about noon, and it was rainy, so they only had indoor seating - so there was a wee bit of a wait, but it was SO worth it!
It was hard to decide what to order - they have a nice variety of alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks, and all the food sounded tasty! I ordered the Vegan Irish Coffee and the "GROW" Slam - which had a good variety of their fare to try (Carrot cake pancakes, potatoes, egg, sausage).
I like that they locally source everything they can - and they list the stores on the menu, so you can go visit them!

The prices may *seem* a bit high - BUT they are a gratuity-free restaurant, so please keep that in mind when dining there.

My server was amazing, and upon some inquiry I found he is the owner of the restaurant!
I look forward to eating there again when I'm on the west side of the state - and also checking out their dinner restaurant next door!
