It’s my favorite spot in Baroda. I love being there. I’m never rushed and just enough ambient noise for my liking. The staff is amicable, on point. I have tried a lot on the menu and never been disappointed. They serve a nice portion and it’s because I love food I don’t let anything go to waste 😝

A friend from town recommended this place, and I’m SO glad we stopped here. I had the seasonal waffle flight, and these were easily the BEST waffles I have had in my lifetime. So delicious. I also had a season maple butter latte and it was so tasty. My kids loved their smoothie, and husband loved his breakfast bowl. Amazing coffee options, and great breakfast selections. I don’t leave a lot of reviews, but this place deserved one for sure. It was a quick drive from St. Joe and absolutely worth it! Service was amazing and very friendly happy faces. Give this place your business!

One of the best places in Berrien county, and hands down the best breakfast joint in Berrien County! Great fresh food, great customer service, and all around amazing atmosphere. We love bringing our friends and family here!

I don't even know where to begin! This place is fantastic 👏 👌 🙌 I had the mini Belgium 🇧🇪 waffles 🧇 and bacon 🥓 you can't go wrong! I can't wait to try it all! I'm just super excited that there is a deliciously beautiful breakfast spot in the heart of country town with a dead-end main street. You really can't get any better than this! The service was spot on. Super friendly smiling faces as you walk in. Honestly, I never felt so comfortable and welcomed by a place of business and service. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area! Best way to start your day! Many more pictures to come!

This is my favorite breakfast place between St. Joe and South Bend. Amazing food for amazing prices. Have told so many people about this place and/or brought them in for food, and will continue to do so. Everything I've ordered on the menu has been delicious. I especially love their waffles and the sugar crust they have, and I'm normally a savory over sweet person! Service is always very friendly, as well. And the coffee is great, which is a must! (It's from Infusco, a local roaster.)

Food is absolutely amazing, one of the best breakfest places around. The service is okay. The person we always get as a server doesn't ever seem happy to be there, but the food is great!

This was our first time visiting The Local and we will be back. It can be difficult finding a great breakfast/brunch spot especially when coming from out of town. The food, environment, and service was wonderful and we can’t wait to come back. The excellent presentation doesn’t just apply to their drinks as their food is plated beautifully too. This is a must visit you won’t be disappointed.

The staff at the Local were incredibly helpful. We ordered takeout for a business meeting and the menu offered something for everyone and the ordering process was seamless. Great food and great coffee, will definitely return!

Great atmosphere and food! Has a nice modern farmhouse aesthetic with a fantastic bathroom (Charmin toilet paper). Amazing options for breakfast, lunch, and snacks — including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. Perfect stop between Chicago and Grand Rapids.

What an amazing brunch place in downtown Baroda. All you want in your menú with a hip city vibe plus fresh ingredients. The staff is very nice. We ordered the omelette [wonderful and bigg], a breakfast burrito and TBLT and one of the sausage bowls. All delicious!!! Highly recommend with family, friends or alone for a quick coffee. The smoothies were delicious too. Prices are very reasonable. Definitely will return in Fall !

Fantastic coffee shop/cafe. The waffles are INCREDIBLE. Coffee is good (I’m a bit of a coffee snob). 100% will be back.

I stopped in for the first time today. I got a nitro cold brew with one pump of hazelnut. It is so cute in there, staff was so friendly, and my coffee was made in about 1 min. I will definitely be back for breakfast soon to try out the food.

Delicious food and a great atmosphere!

The French toast was amazing; a delicious sugar high, even without the syrup. Large portions; perfect for sharing or you can eat it all yourself.

Great all around. Best coffee in the area and I've never been disappointed. The Biscuits and Gravy are dynamite!

Great Soup! Great Coffee (If you like coffee that doesn't have a lot if sugar) and great service although it was just a little slow, great place overall!
