Lamey-Wellehan Shoes - Auburn

Went in a couple of days to find comfortable shoes as I spend long 13 hours on my feet in Healthcare. Immediately was greeted by an employee he was very informative and measured my foot and recommended a certain shoe. The customer service was phenomenal and the shoes have already helped my feet so much. I will definitely be back

Came in to get work boots today. Halina was amazing after trying on like 4 different pairs of boots found the ones that fit amazing. So glad to have good employees like her :)

I work several jobs, on my feet running around 8+ hours. Also have racked up several sports injuries. I was in desperate need of some work shoes that did not hurt my feet !!! Specifically the balls of my feet and heels. I was getting incredible pain and nerve pain. I'd been to orthopedic specialists, physical therapy, orthotic shoe inserts, various different shoes, nothing was helping at all.

A friend in nursing recommended the Hoka brand> plus Lamey Wellehan for help selecting a shoe/ fitting.

Went to LW Auburn and had a FANTASTIC experience!!! Reinaldo came over right away, I told him my situation, he immediately grabbed a selection of shoes. He made suggestions for extra width of shoe that I never would have considered myself.

As soon as I put on a particular shoe ( Hoka Clifton 9 in EE width) I just went WOW!!! OMG!!! HEAVEN FOR MY FEET!!! I bought them immediately and went directly to work....and for the first time in 2 years I had ZERO FOOT PAIN!!! I wore those sneakers, straight out of the box, for 8 hours running around on my feet actively. Only brief 5-10 min sit downs here and there. My feet felt WONDERFUL!!! Usually when I leave work I take my shoes off for drive home because they feel so bad, my feet felt so good in my new sneakers I wore them for drive home, kept them on till I went to bed that night!

There is no question Reinaldo's advice on shoe width and selection of shoes to try made all the difference. He clearly had valuable insight/ experience in what would help my feet for the demands I'm putting on them.

Hopefully readers don't object to all this detail and dissertation! But hey, I figure, if you are like me> you need all the deets! I wish I had gone to LW 2 years ago...saved myself a lot of foot pain, Dr appts, useless shoes and inserts etc.

Coming from the Midwest, I had never heard of Lamey-Wellehan’s until just a few weeks ago. I ordered a pair of shoes that I couldn’t find ANYWHERE, but luckily they had them in stock! Top notch service. Amazing quality and comfort heavy duty footwear. Michelle was a great salesperson. She helped as soon as I walked in the door. Got me what I needed and not what I thought I wanted. You will be happy if you go there. Pricey , but worth every penny.

Although it says closed due to covid, they’re still taking appointments and also curbside delivery. I pulled up and walked to the entrance. Went to call to make an appointment, and Kim came out and told me it was my lucky day. These folks treat you like royalty. Kim had me in and out of there within 10 minutes. This is where I buy all my work boots because, not only do they make you feel at home, they make you feel very comfortable in your own shoes. Thank you Kim and thank you Lamey!

I have been in shoe stores from Maine to Arizona, an never have I had the experience I had at laney wellehan in Auburn ME. Not only did I buy three pair of shoes, Caroline very smart and knowledgeable saleswoman, corrected the way I walk and my pressure points. Listened to my concerns an 4 days later I actually feel better all day with the shoes and advice from Caroline. sincerely Thank you Wade.

Had my second great experience here today at Lamey’s, first time was several months ago when I had an acute flare up of plantar fasciitis and I went here in search of help and some orthotics. Today I needed to go back to be re evaluated as my foot was mostly back to normal and pain free. Caroline was the sales associate and she was extremely knowledgeable about my condition and helped me get a new orthotic and a new set of running shoes that are best for my feet. Yes, you pay a bit more for their shoes than you might at a bigger chain store BUT, you get personalized service a fit analysis and a gait analysis. You can’t get that at a big chain store and you also don’t know if your getting a shoe that is built for your foot. Caroline spent about 40 minutes with me helping me get the right shoe. There is no up selling here and no pushy sales people, just great service. Thanks!

Lamey wellehan is a great store and the staff is awesome! The shoes address excellent quality and will last you many years. We are a Keen family, so going during the spring sale is a no-brainer. Honestly, the shoes are great! The staff is fantastic, and you went be disappointed!!

Tim Ervin at the Auburn Lamey location was amazing! He was kind, knowledgeable, and courteous. He took his time with me, gave me great options within my budget, and wasn't pushy. I can't recommend Tim enough! Make sure to go in and ask for him!
