We spent absolutely forever just browsing... every time I turned around there was something new to see! A joy for not only knitters but anyone looking for a thoughtful gift or tourists looking to kill an hour before a meal.

Beautiful handdyed yarn! Definitely a must to go during the week to watch the fiber processing in the back area and the owner and shop cat are extremely friendly and helpful.

I phoned this store for info and the man was super friendly and helpful. I will be going there. It sounds like a great store!

My favorite is the headbands. I have at least 20 and I buy more every time I visit. Visits to the sandpiper are the highlights of my life. The yarn is my favorite too. I love the weko beach inspired colors and the bulky is so plush and buttery. I buy gifts for holidays and most recently indulged myself in some valentine's decor and of course three new headbands. I love love love this store.

Great staff and an awesome selection. The labeling on the yarn shows the attention to detail. They have everything outlined meticulously. Also, the hand crafted items they have are beautiful.

My mom and I had a great experience at the sandpiper, one of the shop owners, Anna was they're and friendly but let us browse without any pressure. They have many beautiful handmade items from artisans all around the area. I bought some local blueberry jam and Maple syrup which I can't wait to try. We were just about ready to check out when we started a conversation with Anna and she offered to bring us back to peak inside the yarn factory they have in the back. She did a great job explaining the process they go through to get different products and how versatile the process is in making made to order yarn. My mom and I ended up getting some of the yarn processed there for a close friend of ours. We can't wait to send it to her and see what she makes! What a great little place!

A must-stop if traveling near Bridgman. Excellent crafty gifts & outstanding fiber materials for experienced or novice home crafters. Most of the yarns are milled on site from raw wool. Wine tasting rooms adjacent to store.

My favorite place to buy yarn or unique gifts. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Anna is the best at helping you select a gift. I have purchased a ton of yarn here and I am enjoying the quarterly yarn club.

Lovely little shop! The Sandpiper primarily stocks a variety of local gift items, but has a marvelous yarn section tucked in back. This store-within-a-store features local yarns spun at the attached Hoof-to-Hanger Fiber Processing Mill, but has several other local and commercial yarns available, as well as knitting and crochet supplies. A hidden treasure!

My favorite store in Bridgman. A great and varied selection of unusual and handcrafted gift items at reasonable prices. If you’re a knitter, their line of local yarn is to die for. Beautiful selection of colors.

A charming shop filled with beautiful pieces of work. Something for everyone. There is so much choice, a real Aladdin' s cave !
The staff are friendly and polite and very welcoming. If you are looking for that something special, you will be sure to find it.

Last week, I had a few minutes and decided to see what was new at the Sandpiper. As I was walking around, I saw a beautiful silver beaded purse. It turns out that the purse was a knock-off of a Louboutin handbag. Beautiful! I decided to buy it for my sister with whom I was celebrating her birthday later that day. When my sister saw it, she was thrilled because she was familiar with both the Sandpiper and Louboutin handbags. I appreciate the exquisite merchandise at the Sandpiper and my favorite business owner, Suzy Barnes, who always has time to visit with friends and help customers. Thank you for growing such an incredible store! It's always a pleasure and adventure to shop locally.

Lovely little yarn and fiber shop! They are also a mill and have "house" blends of hand dyed yarn and fiber.

This shop is fantastic and has artisan finds you can’t get anywhere else. I was helped be Anna today and what a wonderful lady! Kind, helpful and interested in what I was doing. Can’t say enough great things about the Sandpiper!

This store is fantastic. I love that they locally source what they can and find other artists that do beautiful work. The staff is helpful, but not overbearing. They are great great people.
