Contemporary Art Center of Peoria Illinois

Attended a wedding at night but saw they had a sweet yarn exhibit that I couldn't check out because the museum proper wasn't open.

Fabulous. Great performers, relaxed atmosphere, friendly people. Comfortable seating arrangement. Sweet sounds. Nothing but positive things to say about this event. I'll definitely be a repeat.

Excellent art venue, full of local artists! Great place to find or commission an art piece or just enjoy a first friday!

We have only been back in Peoria for around 6 months are always trying to find unique places to go. We love art and this was trip worth going downtown and trying to find parking. They feature several artists and you can even go in the studio area where they are working on different projects. I love the fact that they have taken an old warehouse and given it new life. There is also a cafe on the main floor but we did not stop in to eat. We will definitely visit The Contemporary Art Center again.

We used this venue for our wedding reception in October! The space is so beautiful and unique as the art changes in the gallery space. William so helpful in helping us plan the layout and suggesting different vendors to check out! I'm so happy we used this venue!

CAC was the perfect venue for my daughters wedding reception last fall. William and staff were Amazing ! Very professional, helpful,and patient with all of our questions,changes of mind,and requests.

Great place. Always wonderful art to review. Great Friday night venue; Live at the 5 Spot. Always a great band performing from 5:30-7:30 p.m Wonderful gallery location for wedding receptions, birthday parties, anniversary parties, reunions, celebration of life, etc. Be sure to check it out.

We love CAC. We frequently go to Five Spot which is a great BYOB and food every Friday from 5:30 to 7:30. Great jazz blues etc. The resident artists are an amazing talented group. Always cool stuff going on.

Love visiting this place! Great artwork and good music on Fridays. The guy who runs the CAC is very organized and professional, and a wonderful earthling as well! Do yourself a favor and stop by the CAC. William will be happy to show you around.

An absolutely amazing venue for small group gatherings of around 100 people. Definitely worth checking out!

3 floors of joy..Preston Jackson Gallery is wonderful..do not miss Prestons studio..be sure to chat with him..his daughter, Natalie Jackson(Photography), is lovely..several other artists studios on site..i adored Darlene..if u buy art, get great stuff right here!

I had to go there for an assignment for school. It was a very cool experience. I have never been anywhere like it. The people running it were very nice too. They helped a lot.

CAC is a very nice gallery in a beautiful building. They host frequent byob events that involve dancing, art and live music. The gallery is small, but collections are rotated frequently

Love poetry night 1st Thursdays at 8p could be a little less pricey, but being able to bring in snacks makes it worth it!

We went there for Juneteenth celebration. Great music and a lot of fun.

Poetic, artistic and inspiring! This type of monthly event makes Peoria look good! So glad to be a part of it!

So many great artistic events take place here and so much local talent on display. Peoria is brimming with brilliant artists.

Excellent community programs and a nice gallery area! I also love the vegan-friendly restaurant on the ground floor.
