very wonderful artifacts to see and serves as a great reminder of our veterans who served in the military serving our country. very authentic exhibits.

An aviation/Military museum that houses artifacts donated by "local" Veterans and their families. Exhibits include WWI to the present. For additional, in depth history of Camp Ellis/WW II POWs, from which the building was donated to house Heritage in Flight Museum, in Lincoln, IL, pls visit Camp Ellis located in Ipava, IL.

While having limits on time and apparently on going restorations, it's still a good place to get up close and engage with staff and exhibits.

Place was a huge disappointment to me. The history of German pows being held here in World War II and the remaining Barracks for those pows is poorly represented. Also the place was extremely difficult for me to find even with the help of GPS and Google Maps.
