They did work on my daughter's car. Pat communicated with the car lot the car came from and her extended warranty company to ensure everything was set up correctly and to find out what was going to be covered so she wasn't blind sided by any extra fees.

Charron's saved our Christmas when we got stranded on a highway. It was late in the day, two days before Christmas. We were from out of town and needed to get back on the road ASAP. Not only did they take extra time out of their day for us, but they were so friendly, professional and kind every step of the way. They gave us a very fair price and our car has been working like a champ since then. Their driver even took us to their cute downtown for a visit while we waited. It was a bad experience that turned good because of people like them.

Called Charron’s on Monday 09/13 to see how long it would take them to diagnose a flashing engine light problem in my 2014 Jeep Compass. I initially spoke with Pat, who told me he could have a diagnosis for me by the end of the day on that Wednesday 09/15.

My car is covered by warranty (First Extended, whom I DO NOT recommend) which I told Pat I would be using for the first time to hopefully take care of the repairs on my car. He did not argue with me about the use of a warranty and was obliged to call the warranty provider himself to work out all the details. He went through tall the trouble of making multiple calls to First Extended to try and get clearance for repairs, but was never able to get a hold of anyone. I was finally able to get First Extended on the phone on 09/16, and Rick at Charron’s took of the call and helped me through the process of trying to finally get clearance for repairs. Rick was so polite and patient and really did try to get First Extended to cover the repairs.

First Extended never covered the cost of repairs, which were only $416 out the door and much less than we anticipated. I’m so thankful that the team at Charron’s had integrity and did not rip us off or try to use us to their advantage. They were honest in their diagnosis, kept us posted on everything, made swift repairs and were very kind and flexible during the whole process.

There was a lady that I spoke to a few times at the shop who was also very kind and patient with me. Didn’t catch her name, but she deserves a shout out as well. I highly recommend using this shop for all of your auto repair needs, as we had a great experience with them and they now have our trust. Thank you Pat, Rick and Team Charron’s.

They treat you right! Honest, fair price. Another place quoted over $2600! The work needed was $458! At Charrons. Only took 2 days they even offered me a ride if I needed. Thank you Charrons!

I had a wheel bearing go out on my Avalanche just 7 mi south of Charron's. I called them as the reviews were positive. They suggested a towing company that they typically use and the vehicle was brought in to them. I am pleased with the work they did. Good people and a competent auto repair service. Will be looking to do more there in the future as we live 40 min away. You won't go wrong from my experience.

Needed a new valve on my truck tire, called Charron's and was able to get same day service. Didn't need to replace valve after all, they used a tool that tightened it back up. For $8 I was in and out in no time. Friendly service, very professional. Give them a call for your vehicle repairs.

Our rating for Charron's is 5 stars, but there should be more. There are not enough stars on the scale. We almost want the car to break down in Lincoln, Illinois so we can visit Carol and Pat and see more of their hometown. After the radiator started leaking on interstate 55 heading back to St. Louis, State Farm gave us Charron's phone number. A wonderful couple heading to Wisconsin stopped and gave us enough water to get into town and get lost. Carol Charron came to our rescue. We followed her back to the repair shop. Pat found a radiator to replace the 22 year old radiator in our Honda. Carol drove us down town where we had a delicious lunch at Flo and Delila's, purchased great clothing at the Pink Shutter Charity Shop, toured the Carnegie Library and met the Library Director that is from my home state of Alabama. Carol picked us up when the repair was completed. Pat was so friendly and professional. The price was more than reasonable and the service outstanding. We felt like we were being serviced by family. What could have been a terrible day turned out to be one of the great adventures we will always remember. Thank you Carol, Pat and the entire Charron Team!!!!!!! Linda and Mike

Want to thank Pat Gorman for assisting my wife as she was bringing my daughter back home from ISU and we had mechanical issues with our 2009 Honda Odyssey. Was a cylinder misfire, which he diagnosed quickly, than had the repair complete in a few hours. They were able to get back on the road and back home to MO by dinner. Cost of repair was absolutely reasonable, and he even topped off the oil. Charron’s Auto Repair has my gratitude and thanks!

I was amazed by the service we received. We were in from out of town and needed someone to look over a vehicle we were considering purchasing. Charron's treated us well and was very thorough.

I was driving my Chevy 3/4 ton awd van from Elkhorn to St Charles for Irish Fest. Heard the grinding coming from the front so pulled off in Lincoln. They open at 8 but Rick was there at 7:21 and I was in the garage and up on the hoist before opening time. They quoted me an estimate $60 higher than I ended up paying and was on the road by 10:30. Broken down on the way to Chicago. No one in town would look at my car, but Charrons did their best to help and even recommended another place, found me their number, etc. True definition of customer service.
