Bubs Subs is my go-to spot for awesome sandwiches. I have been going to Bubs consistently for about a year now and have never had a bad experience. One of the workers there, Zoe, has been super friendly and has helped curate the perfect sandwich for me over the year. I alwyas recommend the spot to friends and family when they come into town. The produce is always fresh and the subs are always tasty! 5 stars, hidden gem in Algonquin! ❤

I Did a search on social media for best subs in the area, and Bubs Subs was recommended the most. We cruised over and orders the GODFATHER.. It was EXACTLY what me and my Fiancé were looking for delicious! The dude making the sandwich was very polite and is great at what he does!
The house made Gardinereia is the cherry on top!

Came in for lunch meeting with coworkers, the team that took care of us today offered incredible and above and beyond customer service. So friendly, patient, and took excellent care of us. Thank you team for such a great experience!! If ever I’m back in Chi-town, I will be sure to stop by again!!

My first time coming here although I've driven past it numerous times. So here's my first impression.

The place is small but so are a lot of other places. It has nice older pictures hanging on the walls, and decent enough seating for those who would like to dine in.

The service I'd say was exceptional! Friendly staff all around, and definitely made a great first impression. They all knew what they were doing, made some chit chat while I awaited for my order to be complete, and just seemed genuinely friendly. I just wish I had cash to give a tip for their service. Next time I will make up for it as long as they continue to provide the great service they did for me today.

My wife ordered the Godfather sub. She absolutely enjoyed that sub, and I ordered the Club Bub. The Club Bub is a basic sub with ham, turkey, cheddar cheese, and bacon plus anything else you add. The bread is crisp on the outside and fresh on the inside, and the cheddar cheese gave this sub a great taste to it. I hardly tasted the bacon, but the sub was quite enjoyable. The Godfather sub consists of Mortadella, Spicy Capicola, Genoa Salami, & Provolone, & anyhhing else you add. My wife did enjoy her sub although she wanted a little more spice to it.

We will definitely go back.

All I want is a turkey sub from bubs everyday 😭 best subs around. Fresh sliced meat and cheese. Perfect bread !! Yummy sauces and kind staff! Love love love this spot!

If you try one thing, try the El Nino. Italian beef + home made giardiniera is really something special. We had the bomb beef and firebird as well but we both agreed the El Nino is the sandwich worth coming back for!

Genuinely my favorite sandwich in the world is the firebird. I've been eating it for 10+ years. Do yourself a favor and give it a try!

If you come here and don't get one of the Italian subs with giardiniera, you're doing it wrong. So good!

The Deep River chips were a disappointment. Blah.

Also, you're not coming here for the ambience; you're here for the food -- and you choose well!

We loved our sandwiches and thought they were well worth the price. The man who assembled them was very nice, and we really appreciated his recommendations for toppings. They have homemade giardiniera too!!! We will be back.

I've only had the fiesta veggie sub here, and it's absolutely amazing. I'm not a vegetarian at all, but I didn't want to pay 21 dollars for an Italian beef as other reviews have mentioned. I will say though, it's onky 21 when u get the "large" which must be 18-20 inches long. It's more like 14 for a regular sized sub. Anyway, got the humongous fiesta veggie sub with homemade pepper/tomato/basil/oil stuff and it's so good that this non vegetarian went back the next day. Sometimes it's just one guy with no help and there's a wait but it's worth it. Amazing.

The Karens who don't like the food here knocking stars off while they whine about their fat, diabetic stomachs that can handle anything other than a warm milk for dinner crack me up. This place puts Jimmy John's and Jersey Mike's into the Subway toilet category. 🤡

Delicious veggie subs. The homemade giardiniera is excellent. My toddler loved the sandwich too even though the bread isn't quite as soft as other places. I'll be back for sure.

Got a couple of subs here for dinner last night. Bread and toppings are fresh, sandwich sizes are generous, and the meats are clearly very high quality. Everything was delicious.

I came here for the first time yesterday with a friend of mine before we headed off to an RV/camping show in Rosemont, and I was very happy with my lunch! The sandwich tasted so good and I'm very glad I was able to get it toasted because it tasted extra better! While I did get a water, I, also, got a Dog n Suds root beer and I forgot how good those tasted! When I'm in the area again, I'll have to stop by and get another sandwich!

I had not been here in a long while and with McAllister's Deli right in front, I wondered how this place had survived. Well, I do not wonder any longer. Long story short, I was waiting for my kid to get done with some after school activities, so I dropped in for a bite. I had a veggie sub that was just loaded with ingredients. They make their own giardiniera and it is the best. Not very spicy, but delicious. The bread is excellent, and I doubt it has yoga mat material in it. The prices are very good for the quality. Highly recommend. The subs are innovative, yet very good.

Let’s start with Emma great customer service, very friendly, helpful in regards to picking the best sub for us; being that it our first time. The sub was soooo good everything was so fresh especially the bread, I will recommend this place to ever because how good the subs were.This is my new go to sub place. I forgot to take a picture it was so good I couldn’t stop😋. Grab your family and have great sub day! You will thank me later. Ask for Emma she is one of the best.

Eaten here a few times, new favorite sub shop. Food is always delicious and correct, staff is friendly and service is prompt. I especially like their hot sandwiches.

The food is always delicious, I’ve been coming here for a while and I’ve never been disappointed. This evening, I ordered off DoorDash and I accidentally got someone else’s order. I called in and the gentleman working was nice enough to remake the sandwich completely for me to come pick up. He was so nice and apologetic about the whole thing. Great experience every time.

Never knew this place existed until today and wow! I’d pick their sandwiches over a chain any day! Support your local small businesses, because they deserve it! I’ll definitely become a regular!

The crew is great and friendly.
