Here's what standing out: grill actually Libertyville grill . They cook everything fresh to order and it is TASTY , personal is very attentive and willing to customize orders. Tried several items from their menu and feel more than satisfied besides free side offers like special on menu and coffee. ACTUALLY I didn't find place compatible at quality and price!. For example, have a wrap or salad of your choice in addition free side dish of your choice and coffee at 7$ range. I love to have a lunch here. Worth to try!

I happened to be in Libertyville and was impressed by this store's social media posts, so I stopped in. What a surprise. A clean, well-stocked store with the best variety I have ever seen in a store. I found three products I haven't yet seen in stores--frozen avocados (great for smoothies), Sugar 2.0, and Jimmy Milan's salad dressing from Philly. Even though I'm over 20 miles from this location, I will return here to stock up. As a food blogger, I'm particular about where I shop for food. The store had plenty of personnel and even an "expediter" of sorts who guided me to the least busy checkout and placed my groceries on the belt. Good, old-fashioned service and fresh produce.

I had the pleasure of encountering Clarence, the remarkable fish man, on what was undoubtedly one of the busiest days at the seafood market. My initial expectation was simply to secure eight succulent lobsters for a special evening gathering, but Clarence's exceptional service and dedication elevated this mundane task into an unforgettable experience.

From the moment I approached his bustling stall, it was evident that Clarence possessed a profound passion for his craft. His enthusiasm for the ocean's bounty was infectious, and he greeted me with a warm smile that instantly put me at ease amid the chaos of the crowded market.

Clarence's expertise was immediately evident as he meticulously inspected each lobster, ensuring that only the finest specimens made it into my order. His knowledge of the creatures was astounding, and he shared fascinating tidbits about their habits, habitats, and flavors, adding a layer of education to this shopping excursion.

However, the true magic occurred when Clarence went above and beyond the call of duty. As he counted out my lobsters, he paused, considering something. Very clean and maintained grocery store. Has a boutique feel but carries all brands. Large variety - the deli had great homemade salads. Was my first time shopping here - entered my information for the rewards program.

Had an issue at this specific store with the meat department - they had a younger guy working the counter and the cut that was provided wasn't trimmed...so, I ended up paying way more than I should have :)

Spoke with Michael in the meat department - he was great! Such a nice guy - referred me to Steve the store manager and told me to come in. I headed in and Steve was super accommodating and understanding. The customer service here was great! Even with an issue it was a great experience.

I was in awe when I walked in. I don't know how it is for everyday grocery shopping but it looks ideal for specialty goods

I have been a customer of Sunset Foods in Libertyville since it opened. It’s a pleasure to shop in such a clean store. They have a great selection of produce, meat, fish and cheese. I often ask for ideas in the meat and fish departments. Everyone in the store is very friendly and helpful. I’m a customer at least once a week. Thanks Sunset Foods!

I've missed this store. Moved away from Libertyville a long time ago but so here whenever I'm in the area. They have a great selection of fresh sms unique items. The staff is friendly and helpful.

This place is great and convenient, you get what you pay quality and delicious options. My husband love the freshly made sushi.
The grill have a great selection my favorites are chicken tacos, chicken sandwich or tuna salad. I recommend this place because the employees are super attentive and friendly. Angela from the grill is super nice Always.

Was surprised to find this is a great place to stop for a quick lunch! They have pre-packaged sandwiches and salads as well as a huge soup bar. Everything was delicious!

I don’t normally review grocery stores but I can’t say enough about the amazing employees here. They go out of their way to help you, especially when checking out. They seem to value your time more than even you do yourself! Food is always fresh, good choices. Sometimes prices are higher but there are sales all the time.

We we very happy to see the Grill has opened back up. It is great for take out lunch and dinner. The Ruben and the Buffalo Wrap with homemade chips are our favorites. Looks like they have opened up some patio seating. Always friendly service too.

Gone here a few times. Manages to feel different and yet familiar in terms of layout and just the stores presentation. I've managed to go at the right time when it's not busy. Helpful staff like most grocery places. Good big area to load and unload for the seniors that need it

Clean, well stocked with quality products. This is the place I know I can find something better than average in if the grocery stores closer don't have what I'm looking for.

Their lunch grill is phenomenal. Menu is robust and good tasting.

Everyone is so nice in the store. The butcher cut a very nice piece of meat for me. We also talked about how to make it tender. He also helped me find something else I was looking for. When I was ready too check out, someone told me to go t oo the Customer service desk and they c will check me out, since all the other cashiers were busy.

The employees that work the Sushi counter are outstanding! They are incredibly helpful when I need anything. Sunset Foods, Give them a BIG FAT raise!

I've been going to this Sunset Foods for several years now and I've never been disappointed. It is very clean, the people are very nice and are willing to help you. It is a little pricey so don't expect to save a lot of money but the quality is there. You won't be disappointed.
