Best doughnuts in town hands down. Always get one when I'm visiting.

This establishment has been located here as long as I can remember. The smells emanating prior to opening in the morning are enough to drive one mad. The donuts are still the sweet indulgence they were when I was a child. The coffee was good, the staff friendly. It was a wonderful and nostalgic experience.

Seems Mel-O-Cream has been getting some unsavory reviews lately and I am wondering why? I had them for the very first time today and all I can say is, what is wrong with you bad reviewers with your obviously non pleasing personas? Opinions are one thing but do you even have tastebuds? These doughnuts were the best I've ever had and I'll write that on a billboard. Quit trying to destroy a Lincoln tradition all because of unreasonable expectations. For anyone who's reading reviews, just go in and try for yourself because you won't be sorry.

Thank you for the wonderful donuts. They were always so good. I really enjoyed sitting at the bar with a chocolate milk and a donut. They are always fresh.

Reopened June 23rd, 2020. So popular they sold out of 100 dozen donuts before 8:30am that day. Blueberry fritters sell out even earlier. These are SO MUCH BETTER than Dunkin Donuts. Jelly and cream-filled are available daily. Custard filled only available on Sunday. Closed Mondays.

Old-fashioned donut shop. The donuts are made daily on-site. Come early for the best selection, especially on weekends. My son and I love their donuts! Lots of new flavors added recently.

This family owned donut shop has the freshest best tasting donuts we have ever ate. The wide variety of flavors, the quick service and attention to detail makes this a must stop.

My morning coffee before making my rounds and picking up trash at 2 great park's we have where people just throw out whatever it's sad. Madigan State Park is a Beautiful place just like Kickapoo lets quit littering and put trash where it goes.

I grew up going to Mel-O-Cream every Sunday with my Dad and getting them to go and taking them to my Great Aunt’s house! The best donuts anywhere!
