Very difficult to rate a hotel that is undergoing a MAJOR renovation
Room was nice with awesome bed and the usual accompaniments. Breakfast bar was ample and hot. Front desk personnel were friendly and efficient. When upgrades are finished; this unit will be a star for Holiday Inn Express!

Ok the hotel 1st floor is under renovation but we were just bringing the grandkids for a swim day locally...I called the night before the wonderful Ashley checked me in over the phone told her by the pool please. She explained the renovation issue told her no problem we were just there for the day to swim. She put us 100 ft from the pool was waiting with a smile and was beyond wonderful all day and made it awesome for our grandkids! So attentive professional rare in the younger generation! The breakfast much better than normal continental clean the 2 girls in there awesome all over that little buffet fresh hot !

A gentleman or two who were hustling around were equally as awesome happy welcoming!

Security Bo had excellent customer service and he went above and beyond. I was in dire need of some entertain and low and behold this guy pulled out two decks of uno cards. I will be a returning customer due to this man’s efforts and spirit.

We stayed here for three nights last week and we were very comfortable. The room was clean and in good condition, although a little worn. This hotel is under renovation, but we weren’t impacted by that at all. The beds were great and we slept well. We enjoyed the pool although we missed the hot tub, which seems to have been removed. Complimentary breakfasts every morning were very good, with a nice assortment of hot and cold items and good decaf coffee. The staff was very friendly. We will come here again.

Saw the bad reviews for this place and was slightly nervous about what I'd be walking into when I booked my room but it was a perfectly fine experience. For the most part, it was sparkly clean. I did find some gross residue on the TV remote that I honestly don't want to know what it was but that was the only cleanliness issue with the entire room. The walls are a little thin as I was able to hear someone's loud shower late in the night but that was the only noise I had heard for the whole stay. The beds were super comfortable and I loved the pillows. I felt safe and secure as the locks worked perfectly. There could have been more/better lighting in the rooms. The lovely young lady checking me in was super professional, polite, understanding, and kind. Wish I had grabbed her name. She checked me in at 3 pm on 2/4/23 and checked me out at noon on 2/5/23. Very lovely employee. Overall I had a great stay and would definitely recommend this place for a stay on a budget.

Excellent staff. Rooms are always clean. Breakfast is always hot. Mostly always sausage links for meat during the week. They do serve plenty of other items too. The morning breakfast service lady is always courteous and helpful if needed. Brenan and Tayler at front desk are always courteous as well and usually have you room ready for you in advance of your arrival if booked early enough.

Easily accessible off of Randall rd., rooms were comfortable and very clean. There is breakfast available in the lobby in the morning, and there are dozens of options for food in the area.

We always stay at this hotel. When we come back to visit in my home town in Algonquin IL. The best part is next to my high school. Yep I was a student at Jacobs High School. And I always get the Jacobs view from my hotel rooms. And it looks like they going to be be remodeling to the hotel. So when ever I come back next time. Looking forward to what it looks like. And the staff is very wonderful.

I stayed here for 20 nights while I was doing job training. It was the best hotel experience I've ever had (not including resorts). There is nothing more you could ask for in a basic hotel. The staff was always outgoing and friendly. They knew my name by the second night. The room and bathroom were always clean and the cleaning staff was also very friendly.

On Tuesdays and Wednesdays they have free beer and food in the evenings. This was a nice little treat and made it feel a little more like home. Got to meet a few interesting folks in the lobby too! About half way through my stay they went through a major TV upgrade. They went from about 20 channels to 200. It was great. I would definitely stay here again and I'd recommend it to anyone that has to stay in the area.

We had an unexpected number of nights, which grew to a month, when we moved out of one house before the other was ready. This staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great despite our unfortunate timeline. They are very friendly, helpful, responsive and went above and beyond accommodating us as our timeline changed so we didn’t have to leave our suite. The breakfast was way more than we anticipated and everything was clean. I will recommend this hotel to everyone and have our out of towners book there as well. They changed a bad situation into a very comfortable stay. Let’s be honest, how many places can you spend 31 days at with literally no complaints?!?

Had a great time here. Was kinda worried reading the past reviews, but no issues at all! Rooms where clean, the breakfast was great and the workers where so nice! Definitely will return.

This is my 1st trip to Chicago, and this hotel has made a great 1st impression on me. The property is beautiful, the staff was friendly, my room was large, has all the amenities I needed, clean and I got a great night's sleep.

Located near all the shopping in this area. Fresh, warm, delicious cookies when we arrived. Great modern decor. A nice lounge/seating area. A large breakfast dining area with a great variety of breakfast foods including quick pancakes. We had a blast in the clean pool and hot tub. The fitness room is small, but has a nice variety of equipment.

Well you know what you get when you sign up to Holiday Inn. I definitely enjoyed my stay. The breakfast is good. The rooms are the usual.
The thing that got this one a review, and even more, a 5 star? The location was good for my travel purposes which was not vacation but business, so the many shopping centers helped out a lot. The staff is not abundant, but works hard.
I would like to give a big, big shout out to Jack, a manager that sings like Michael Jackson and looks like Bruno Mars ;).

I don’t usually write reviews but I was very satisfied with my stay the hotel is definitely outdated but the staff is what sets this place apart the young lady Ashley at the front desk was informative professional and kind she suggested a really good restaurant near by me and my significant other really enjoyed we did have a problem with our tv not working but the maintenance man promptly came and resolved this issues overall I was very satisfied with my stay and the staff

Rooms r nice sized, fridge and microwave with nice tv. Their breakfast bar was absolutely amazing, hot bar was loaded down with good country eats. Very clean, staff has a sense of urgency. The night manager named Gloria was beyond friendly and helpful. She was cheery and told us wat would be on hot bar in morning. Great experience here!!!!!!
